Holiday rentals with a patio in Balgowlah

Great place to stay close to family, a bit disappointed to find when I checked in bed wasn’t made, made contact and had to leave whilst housekeeping had to return to make the bed unsure on why it wasn’t made prior to checking in. On regular occasions the alarm kept going off during the night which was rather annoying and loud, unsure on why this was happening, happened quite a few times during my stay 🤔

We loved our stay at Helen’s! Firstly she was kind enough to let us check in slightly earlier than planned and gave us directions on transport to Avalon. The 199 bus has access to the city and up to palm beach. The apartment is right across from the bus stop and all the local cafes, restaurants and Woolies. A quick 2 min walk to the beac, it is the perfect location. The apartment is spotless and you can a lot of thought has gone into all the amenities. As mentioned in other reviews, being no air con. It was a hot few days there and we did find it a little hot especially at night. My tip is to open all windows and doors in the arvo to let the ocean cool breeze in and keep the blinds down all day. There are fans but depends on your tolerance to the heat. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back again one day.

Thanks for being a great host. Our stay at this place has been super comfortable and relaxing. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay during your trip. We really loved the layout of the property, it’s amazing balcony and its close proximity to the public transport. Hope to return again!!

Great location, loved the beach, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Parking was a challenge on some days, but just had to circle around the neighborhood a few times to find something - probably due to the end of year holidays. Super quiet neighborhood, very relaxing.

We absolutely loved the place. Was the perfect place close to the city but also quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view of the Harbour. Great restaurants within easy walking distance.

We had an amazing stay at Anna’s place in North Bondi. Location was perfect - right next to the beach and great restaurants nearby. The flat has incredible views and was just perfect for a week in Sydney. We were able to park for free nearby on military road. Anna helpfully provided a few day’s of resident parking permits.

This is a super nice place to stay. Very clean and tidy and pretty much everything I needed in the kitchen. I was initially concerned when I noticed that there was not air conditioner for the unit - just a fan above the bed. However, it seems that the home itself is built to stay cooler so the temperature in the place was comfortable. However, I was there when the weather was a bit cooler than normal for February in Sydney so I don't know what it would be like when temps are in the 30s.

Our stay at this beautiful spacious house in Sydney was unforgettable! The location couldn’t have been better – just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The house itself is modern, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and filled with natural light. Alicia was incredibly friendly and helpful, very early check-in was possible. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our Sydney getaway and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

this was such a charming little place with heaps of heart and a lot of sunshine. everything you need is inside, the interior is just delightful, and it's about 5-10 mins walk away from dozens of delicious restaurants (or just around the corner from one of the best Japanese restaurants i've ever eaten at) and only a 10 min walk from the central train station the owners are friendly and responsive, and flexible wherever they can be to help out thoroughly recommend this place!

Kathryn's place is a real home with lots of personality and warmth exuding a lovely family setting. plenty of alcoves for quiet reflection

Mery’s property was wonderful. It was new, neat and clean. The rooms were open and airy. The kitchen was clean and very well equipped. There was clearly a lot of thought put into the presentation of this property. Mery was great to deal with and very responsive. The property is just a 2 minute walk to the station with a 30 minute train ride into the city. The beds were very comfortable and ceiling fans were great during the evening. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of ammenities. Thank you Mery for the tea, coffee, milk and treats in the fridge. Really appreciated. Would definitely stay here again

Close to the beach and quiet peaceful location. Balcony has a nice view to the sea. The place is clean and tidy too. Driving up the property though is a bit tricky. The public road is a little narrow and turning the car around would prove tricky to inexperienced driver.

Quiet, comfortable and pleasant. A great place to take the family. Big home, great pool, beautiful beach and ocean bath, excellent cafe and food at golf club. I highly recommend for families.

we loved Brenda's place. a real home from home. lots of towels, very comfy beds, lovely pool and walking distance to cafès and beach. we also really appreciated Brenda's offer of a late check out !

So pleased to have tried staying somewhere new. Just near a beautiful park, a 10 min walk to a great row of shops and cafes and a short taxi ride to the city. Public transport easy too. Narelle was so communicative and able to get us on early when I flight was early. Thank you for helping! Can’t think of anything to suggest. It was a pleasure.

The station was only a 10-minute walk away, so getting there wasn’t inconvenient. The host was always quick to respond and very kind, even accommodating some requests that might have been a bit difficult. The room was clean and well-equipped, with plenty of towels provided. Everything I needed was available. The only downside was that the showerhead was missing, and the water pressure was a bit weak, which was slightly inconvenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would gladly recommend it to others!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alan’s place. He is a great host, provided clear instructions on how to access the property and helpful guide book once we had access to the place. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend Alan’s place if anyone is looking for a temporary stay in Dee Why.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean & very well stocked. The location is amazing within a very walkable neighbourhood. Super comfy bed. We loved the balcony too. Malcolm was friendly, informative & provided some groceries. He answered any questions quickly. We will definitely stay there again

Best AirBnb we’ve stayed at. Super cool, charming, comfortable, easy, great layout, fully equipped with everything required. Bondi beach chic. Fab location, quiet yet easy walk to beach, cafes, shops, amenities, etc. Easy connections to city, airport and beyond. We had the best time, relaxed completely, left feeling super refreshed. It was the perfect place for traveling with children. I used the tram and train in front of the house well, and the bus stop was not far away on foot, so I was able to travel anywhere. I was also satisfied with the welcome food sense. It's a place I hope to stay.

The place is fantastic, modern, comfortable and clean. The host is very helpful and responds immediately. The bed and pillows are sooo good. Would recommend.
