This was my second stay at Pondok Apsari with Ji! I first visited in 2016 and it was amazing to return to this magical spot. The home is very rustic and we feel very lucky to have stayed here twice as it truly is a magical spot and our favourite part of Bali. Ji has ensured that both stays were amazing and we felt lucky to meet with Ji again on our holiday so many years later as he is always amazingly accomodating and a great Balinese guide if you should need!!! We slept on the middle level and could see all the way to the ocean in the morning when we woke and fell asleep to the sparkling city lights of singaraja. We hope we will get to visit this little slice of heaven again!

Great Value for money! The room got cleaned daily, communication was too notch and in house laundry service was fast and easy! We will definitely stay here again when coming back to Ubud!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect! Nice and quiet but still very central. There were so many nice restaurants near us and supermarkets. You only have to walk maybe 2 minutes from the main road with your bags so that wasn’t an issue at all. 10/10 will recommend to our friends.

Very good stay at Agus's. The hospitality is very good. The room was impeccable. You can eat directly at the hotel restaurant, the food is very good. Nearby shop and very easy to rent a scooter that you can park directly in front of the hotel in a small private parking lot. Close to Ubud. Very good place to get out of the city and not to suffer noise disturbances. I recommend it 100%. Thanks

The visit was magical. Airport pickup worked and I was wonderfully welcomed by the family. Dewu was helpful and very accommodating. The little house was beautiful and paradisiacal. I had the Garden Room and the view from my cottage was really breathtaking. Every morning there was homemade Balinese breakfast served in the room. The food was very delicious. The excursions I went with Dewu were beautiful. Since I'm traveling alone, it was good to have a guide by his side to explain everything. He also made beautiful videos and photos of me. Since this place is more rural and not directly at the center, you can relax and come down there. There is a pool where you can cool off. I am super happy with my stay. There was also always the possibility to get dinner in the room. The price-performance ratio is great.

The hosts are smiling and attentive. There is good value for money, we were not disappointed.

This is such a special place to stay in Amed! We stayed in the room that had a little deck with a view of the ocean. And while the deck does look right onto the restaurant patio, it still feels special to have our own place to sit and listen to the waves. It’s a beautiful hotel, but what makes it extra special is the kind, patient and observant staff. Every single person that helped us at the hotel was so sweet and wonderful and two of the staff members even offered to give us a ride on their motorbikes when we needed to go to a place that was further than walking distance and no taxis were available. They lent us helmets and drove us safely to our destination, and then picked us up on the other end. We cannot recommend this place highly enough! That said, it's worth noting that the Amed streets are currently under construction (adding sidewalks and drainage). We found walking along the beach to nearby establishments to be more pleasant.

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by lush greenery, colorful flowers, and the soothing sounds of nature. The view—wow. Waking up to the sight of the hills and the valley below, with cool mountain air and the warm morning sun, felt like something out of a dream. The breakfast setup was another highlight. Freshly brewed coffee, homemade pastries, tropical fruits, and juice served with a breathtaking landscape as your backdrop—what more could you ask for? Every little detail, from the garden layout to the thoughtful presentation, reflected care and warmth. This place is ideal for travelers who want to unplug and soak in the quiet beauty of nature. It’s private, peaceful, and lovingly maintained. Thank you, Stephanie, for sharing such a magical spot with us. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already planning our return.

The place is absolutely beautiful, very peaceful, very private, with great view. The private pool is amazing and the hot tub too. Im sure you cant get anything better for the amazing price. The host went beyond expectations. They put flowers for us everywhere, something that we didn’t expect. Also they took our laundry to the laundry service nearby. Excellent host, excellent place!!

Had a lovely stay here! Staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. The room was even better than I thought and perfect location-wise to do the hike. We only came here for the hike and I’m glad because the village is quite empty, not many food options and it felt a bit hostile. The accommodation totally made up for it though and felt like an oasis. Bonus: the pool! We loved it.

nice place and convenient to visit Manjengan island. one word of advice is the link to the map provided by Airbnb is to the wrong place, so you need to search the name of the guesthouse to find the correct map reference.
