Holiday rentals in Balmedie

We had a lovely stay at Oxen Craig. The heating and lights were on for us arriving, which was much appreciated! Lots of amenities in a small space. Was a very cosy and comfy stay. We cooked in the kitchen and ordered food in another evening. The wood fired hot tub was a highlight and easy to use. My partner took a while to get used to the small doors as he is 6’2, so a few minor head bumps! Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but manageable if only staying for a few nights. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend Clovenstone lodges to others!

Great accommodation, nice large open plan living room / kitchen, huge bath !. Good wee Chinese takeaway across the road. Pubs are 5 mins walk and great to get out for a walk along the seafront

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in the harrier lodge. It was spacious. Beautiful and the little pond with the ducks and wildlife surroundings were just so peaceful. Sitting out on the decking in the sun. Everything to light a fire inside and outside at hand. A very very beautiful space. I would highly recommend. Short drive to the beach and into town if needed. I took everything I needed food/drink wise so I could just enjoy the peace and quiet. Again, I would highly recommend and will definitely be booking to come back. Thank you to Dan for his lovely welcome on arrival too. ☺️

Laura's apartment was lovely, the location was perfect and it was spotlessly clean. The apartment was very comfortable and we had a very restful break. I would happily recommend!

A genuinely wonderful stay at Mayen Estate, Ross was responsive, informative, and a great host. On arrival we were given a hamper with local goods, and a card for my partners birthday, as well as a bottle of champagne (which was very much enjoyed!). The house was fantastic, squeaky clean when we arrived and beautifully furnished, with plenty of firewood for the twin fires. The grounds at Mayen are spectacular, and I would highly recommend having a walk around all 700 acres, sadly the walled gardens were closed and under renovation when we stayed. Ross provided a full map of local recommendations, as well as connecting us with a taxi company for a visit to a local distillery. The local recommendations were spot on, and really helped to plan the trip. A lovely stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Really loved staying here! The view was amazing. It was quiet and we loved looking out to the water. We played some board games and enjoyed watching everyone on the walking path. Dean left us a nice welcome card with a sweet treat. Along with some local great places to visit for food and activities. Dean was also great to communicate with. The walking path was great to do a nice morning walk. Highly recommend and would come back.

we wanted somewhere that we could be together as a family, this house gave us all we were looking for and more, the big kitchen diner was the hub of the home, we used it well, with the little lounge close by for that old man sneak away for 30 winks in peace, house was clean and tidy with plenty of those needed items, laundry, cooking and cleaning. good size rooms spread with bedrooms on 1st and 2nd floors, old man called shotgun on first :-), not because bigger, just less stairs. 2 good size bathrooms, like that 1 had over bath shower whilst the other had walk in shower. location is brill, 2 mins walk down to harbour and along to the very warm and welcoming Harbour bar and chipper with very tasty suppers. this was a great home, not house.. as it felt like a home, in a great location, very friendly. this is def a place to add to your list of pla es to stay
