We booked the house during the largest snow storm in a few years. I was so impressed that Laurie proactively messaged me to let me know the dates were flexible so in case I was worried about driving in the storm. She did the same when it was time to leave, again letting me know I could wait until the roads were cleared. That's the sign of a fantastic host. We spent the weekend relaxing in her beautifully decorated home and enjoying the snow storm 'lock in.

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

It was a great spot for us to stay. We had a survey job in Omemee, so it was mainly a spot for us too eat and sleep. So we didn't get a chance to go out. It had everything that we needed.

I can't thank Tracey enough when it came to booking her beautiful home. I made this booking last minute for family travelling last minute from the UK. Tracey answered all of my questions promptly and was more than accommodating. The family absolutely loved the house and some are planning to try and book in the future.

Julian was an extremely responsive host who always was there at a minutes notice. Aspects of the place were even nicer than the pictures like the backyard patio of the Stonehouse and the Stonehouse livingroom. Had plenty of things to do for entertainment and pretty close to town. Has a real cottage/summer home vibe. Had PLENTY of space for 16 of us. Water pressure was a bit low in the Cottage house at times without any other taps running to interfere. Julian left hand written notes for different things around the house and even said we were able to take some plants that were already potted. A+

Sylvia and Ken were extremely hospitable!! They had so many appliances, towels, cutlery, blankets, everything you could ever want to feel at home. They went out of their way to shovel the driveway during a horrible snowstorm, which made leaving a breeze. We were greeted by them as we arrived and they made sure we knew if we needed anything they would be right there. Beautiful place, did not want to leave, was just like home.

The location is amazing, a short walk down the trail to the public beach was a great bonus. The lake is perfect for swimming! The place felt very homey, and the nostalgia of watching a movie on VHS is so much fun. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Helena was amazing. Exceptionally helpful and accomodating when we ran into issues on our end. Would definitely recommend this location and definitely would return!

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Brendan's place is absolutely stunning - beautiful property with adorable farm animals, access to water, a pool, everything you'd need for a great weekend, really. Thank you for providing a perfect location for our after-wedding celebration.

Our stay at Craig and Susan’s place was amazing! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you’d need. The kitchen was stocked, just bring your food and you’re set! The pool was warm and very enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and peaceful. Craig and Susan were very welcoming. They were amazing, kind and helpful hosts! The delicious welcome cookies and snacks were a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back!

Sarah’s property is one of the most dreamiest places for families. It ticks off so many boxes for everyone in your party. Communication with the host very timely and much appreciated.

Thank you Scott for a great stay! Definitely a bit of a "lived in" airbnb, but it was very affordable for our group so ultimately no complaints. Tons of bedding and pillows to make our stay comfortable. so many board games and table games which was awesome for our group. Typically Airbnb's that have hot tubs, I've found to be very hit or miss. Not this one! It was very hot and worked perfectly even in the cold winter. really made for a relaxing stay as we used it everyday. Finally, Scott allowed us to bring our pet which was much appreciated, however do suggest you keep close watch. At one point our dog strayed on to the neighbor's yard and despite apologizing he threatened the dog and us if it were to happen again. Guy was unhinged so be mindful. otherwise great communication from Scott, and he even let us check out a bit later since no one else was staying that evening. Thanks Scott for the great stay! will be back again!

I had an amazing stay at "Peace" of Eden! The property is incredibly beautiful, spacious, and peaceful—perfect for unwinding. Deborah and Ross are fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. When I mentioned the microwave wasn’t working, they replaced it the very next day! The place was spotless, and the serene atmosphere made me feel like I could sleep all day. I highly recommend this little slice of paradise!

We had a great stay at this cottage over the long weekend. The location is safe and quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature. The cottage is spacious, with a large common area perfect for relaxing. The house was clean and well-kept, and the host was very responsive and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway.

Kristen’s place was really amazing for a weekend getaway. We got to enjoy the hot tub even when it was snowing and it was a great experience. Kristen was very responsive and we got to greet Charlie before we left!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Had an excellent stay at Annie the A Frame. Nice, private, cozy, and warm. The ambiance of the gas powered fire place along with the disconnect from the world was exactly what we were looking for. It’s given inspiration to what my girlfriend and I would like for our personal get away. Highly recommended 5 stars!

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

Beautiful and peaceful lakeside cottage! We had a great stay. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. It was very spacious and had good amenities.

Melissa sent a series of welcoming messages with step by step instructions. The cabin was a cozy little treehouse with a wood stove that had already started by Melissa to warn up the little place before we checked in. Everything was clean and clear and ready to go. It was obviously Melissa had prepped it as if we were guests or family and did not at all feel like customers. The space was amazing and peaceful and we'll definitely go back. FYI although the cabin has only a wide stove, it keeps you warm. We stayed during a -20C night and got through it just fine. Melissa checked on us multiple times with plenty of firewood to make sure we stay cozy!

My two friends and I had a lovely girls weekend in Hastings! The place was warm, clean, felt very homey and was the perfect size; we also really enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you so much for such a peaceful weekend away.

Our car got stuck in the snow, and they didn’t hesitate to come pick us up—along with all our belongings—to ensure we made it safely to the cabin. When it was time to leave, they did the same, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Throughout our stay, they were always quick to respond to any request. We especially appreciated the firewood they brought us every day, ensuring we stayed warm and cozy. The cabin itself was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for—a perfect winter getaway! Great stay at the tiny home. Felt like home for a whole week with clean linens and full array of kitchen items. Check in to out was easy and straightforward. Hot tub and fire pit were the highlights. Tiffany was a great host and great responding and reaching out. Would definitely come again and would try the cabin as well
