Family-friendly holiday rentals in Banje Beach

We absolutely loved our stay at Zarko’s cottage. The house and garden are very pretty, and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We loved sitting outside by the pool, it was very private and so peaceful. Zarko was really welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. He showed us how to get to the local Žukova beach which is beautiful for swimming. Stari Grad is really close by and has some great restaurants, market, and shops. We would definitely go back to stay at Zarko’s place if we returned to Hvar.

The villa and surrounding area were perfect for our needs and we had a wonderful 10 nights with our two teenagers. What really makes this villa is the fantastic outside space with not just pool, and hot tub but plenty of comfortable options to relax and not one but two lovely outside eating areas. The gym was an added bonus and had plenty of basic equipment to keep my husband and son happy for a daily blast. The villa catered for every thing from beach equipment to umbrellas which we appreciated on one quite wet day during our stay. The area was safe and quiet at night - a 2 min walk down to the water to swim or a 10 min stroll to the harbour for restaurant and shops. Bus stop was handy to travel to other areas Jurica was an excellent host. Recommended a taxi to meet us at the ferry and was there to meet us in person when we arrived at the villa. He was very responsive during our stay. Very lovely place we highly recommend.

This space was really special for our stay on Hvar. The view of the sea is stunning from the two separate balconies and the hot tub. The apartment is tidy and modern, giving you walkable access to both the gown and nearby Pokonji Dol. Would love to stay here again!

We loved staying at Slaven’s place near Vela Luka. It was an amazing, tranquil location with no one else around. The best part was swimming in the crystal clear water right next to the house. Like other reviewers have said - we’d love to keep this special place secret. Korcula is a beautiful island and the old town is absolutely stunning. We loved that due to the islands remote location the island remains fairly quiet even in the height of summer. Slaven was an absolutely fantastic host and really made us feel welcome. We can’t recommend this location enough!

This place is even more spectacular than it appears in the photos. The property is one of the most special places we have ever stayed, with the most incredible views. The location - while not right in town - is only 15-35 minutes to everywhere you want to go. It is a nice retreat from the tourism. The house was spotlessly clean and Mario’s communication was fast and he was very helpful. We would come back to Croatia to stay at this property again.

Josipa was awesome! We had a lot of luggage for an elopement and photo shoot on the island. Josipa was proactive and offered to pick us up from the local bus station (a short walk from the ferry) and drop us off. Many local recommendations and how to navigate the city. The photo’s do not do the balcony justice, it is like riding a cloud in the heavens. The place was very clean, modern, and spacious. Fantastic stay.

We have had a great time in beautiful Stari Grad! The villa is im a great location and extremely well equipped, with copious comfortable outdoor seating. Eva has been so helpful in local knowledge and even picked us up from the port and took us to the villa. The villa is in walking distance to stari grad which has a wide selection of bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend the villa and would like to thank Eva and Dragan for looking after us so well!!!

Do not hesitate to book this place! Maja was awesome when it came to checking in and out, the place itself was gorgeous and extremely clean! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was not only beautiful but had perfect water pressure! The house is a 20min walk from the center and the views are so amazing the walk feels much less! As for the views, they are to die for! You also have access to the water right in front of the house. We loved this space and will 100% be booking again if we ever come back.

We had a great time. The apartment is quiet with beautiful sea views. Clean and well-equipped accommodation. The kids loved the pool. Ana and her family are super nice and always available if needed.

Zlatko was always approachable. We met in the center of vela Luka and drove to the accommodation together. A fruit basket, water, orange juice and milk were provided for us, which was very helpful as we arrived on Sunday evening

I'll be dreaming of Mrčara for the rest of my life. This place is what resorts try to be. You'll likely be taking every mode of transportation to get here, from your flight, to a car or bus, onto a ferry, finally a smaller dingy—it's worth the journey. The island itself is beautiful, the house nicer than the description, the water clearer than your imagination. But truly, Kreso and Tanya are wonderful hosts, creating an environment for a *REAL* vacation. (Love Denis & the dogs.) Breakfast & dinner are ready at set times, so the only thing to do in between is play. You play until dinner is ready. You don't even order, everything is taken care of for you. One moment you're kayaking in an old submarine hideout, then (after showering and drying off) you sit down on a cushion for dinner at 6, and then chat with other guests till 1 or 2 am. The restaurant seats 8, perhaps the most exclusive in the world! Three nights is about the shortest you'd want to stay, plan for more if you can.

Marin's apartment was wonderful! The beach front was our favorite part. Marin was a super helpful host. We got a flat tire and he was right there to help us along the way. The old town was gorgeous. we would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at Antonija's b'n'b! If you plan on staying here, expect a warm and friendly welcome, a clean and cozy place to stay, and everything you need within reach. Antonija is super knowledgable on the area and is able to help with recommendations of things to do. She was super accommodating for anything we needed and made us the most lovely cakes to try, from scratch! The house was squeaky clean and we were provided with fresh linen and towels a few days into our stay - didn't even have to ask. Thanks for your hospitality Antonija, we look forward to staying with you again very soon!! <3

We had a pleasant stay. The place is intimate but remains close to places of tourist activity. The real plus of this property is its exceptional view of the sea and the sunset

Zrnovo is a quiet village, but with everything you need. The local corner shop, Cafe Lava where we hung out on the terrace, a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance. We choose this village to stay as it was where our friends were staying with family. Only a short car ride (or taxi) to Korcula Old Town and beaches. Lovely island, laid back vibe. Elvira's place was well air conditioned, so we slept well at night, considering we had 39 degree days! Lovely private outdoor terraced area to sit in. Able to hang our wet towels & togs on the line outside after the beach. Elvira gave us lovely fresh figs during our stay. They were sublime! Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay if you want to have your peace, just awesome. The only thing you don't have is mobility to the city, only accessible by private car or taxi. But otherwise almost perfect!

Our best stay on our Croatia trip. Ljiljana is the best host, she was so kind and helpful. We felt just like home. The area was very beautiful and quiet. This place gets my best recommandation.

It’s a really nice house, light and with plenty of space. The pool is lovely. It is two separate apartments which isnt obvious from the details but two kitchens, shower rooms in both so lots of space. The village is close, Korcula is accessible by bus/cab, a good beach is 20 minutes walk away. Stjepan was very responsive to any questions.

Thoroughly recommend Lana’s apartment. Lana and her husband were welcoming, friendly hosts - nothing was too much trouble, they were always happy to help. They offered some great recommendations for local places to eat, and loaned us an umbrella at very short notice when it unfortunately rained one day. The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. The pool area was well kept, and the location couldn’t be better - quiet in the evenings, but less than ten minutes walk to some brilliant restaurants and bars. We hope to visit again some day.

Great, very well maintained apartment with private pool. Highly recommended. Very friendly welcome. It is better to park at the beginning of the street as it is very narrow and you can hardly turn there.

A wonderful week in this beautiful house. Bombo and Marija have been amazing hosts for us, they brought us some bread every day and recommanded nice places to visit. The house is great, we spent our time outside, near the pool or on the terrace. Thank you for your hospitality !
