Beach apartment holiday rentals in Barbados

We chose Todd's place because it was affordable and the proximity to Freight's Bay could not be beat! The apartment had everything we needed from plenty of beach towels to all of the cooking utensils for cooking our breakfasts every morning. The location is literally steps away from a secluded beach access if you are looking to catch some waves. Cafe Luna is a few minutes walk away for a nice rooftop meal. We drove all over the island and kept telling ourselves that we liked our location the best since we were away from the touristy areas, close to the surf, and within 15 minutes drive to many different restaurants along the south coast. We often times wound up eating at the Worthing Square food court. Last but not least, Todd and Barbara provided some of the best hospitality that we've experienced through our AirBnB stays. Barbara checked us in and was very thorough and so nice. Todd answered our messages within minutes and made sure we were having a great time. Would stay here again.

Five stars all round! Dave and Esther were te perfect hosts. Super responsive and flexible and generally lovely to deal with. The apartment is in a perfect location 2 minutes walk to Freights Bay. Thank you for having us - we’ll be back!

Had a wonderful time on our first visit to Barbados. Kevin was very helpful, even if we disappointed but not seeing much of the island! It was all about the sea, watching the turtles every day from the balcony and swimming with them everyday. Plenty of places to walk to, to eat and drink, there is something of all price ranges. Supermarkets very short walk away.

We had the most amazing family vacation . Our accommodations were a big reason for this . We were so thrilled with our stay . The view was breathtaking and everything was walking distance to what we needed. Can’t wait to come back .

Location location location! A very large, two level condo in the center of Speightstown. Beautiful view of the ocean from the large balcony and of the nesting mourning doves in the very tall coconut tree! Steps to Orange Street Grocer (cash only!!) Local and Co and Baia. We tried all three and were very impressed. Local and Co is in a very cool 17th century, restored building with a wall of coral stone. Stunning renovation. Two minute walk to Jordan's Market and 10-15 minutes by bus/car/taxi to Clifton Market at Lime Grove and Masseys for groceries. Two minute walk to beautiful Heywoods Beach. One of the fabulous west coast beaches which are all public to the high tide line!

We have just returned from an idyllic 10 days staying at Robert’s apartment. We started and ended each day sitting on the spacious balcony watching the waves. The apartment is really close to the beautiful Rockley beach where we enjoyed swimming each day, the sand was amazingly soft. There are a number of lovely restaurants close by but the apartment was also very well equipped when we wanted to eat in. Robert and June were really responsive with any questions we had which made this a really relaxing and stress free holiday. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment.

We had a lovely stay at this condo, the condo was a perfect size for our family of 6 and right on Dover beach, walking distance to many restaurants and a fantastic beach to enjoy Barbados.

Mark's condo is pretty much as described in the listing and as it appears in the photos. The beach out the front is great for a swim and you might meet one of the resident turtles. We had a hiccup with the hot water (not that you'll need it much in Barbados) and Mark came around to fix it very promptly. Unfortunately the pool was "under maintenance" for the duration of our stay (4 nights), though I didn't see any work being done on it and was told by the groundsman it would "open later today" each day but it never did. The apartment was generally clean, light, spacious and has a real beachy vibe. If you're a light sleeper I would probably suggest you look elsewhere - the Bajan mini van drivers love the toot their musical horns from rather early in the morning and the apartment backs on to a main road.

This was the ideal location for my stay as I wanted to surf at Freights Bay which is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The beaches in the area are absolutely stunning and Oistins isn't far with plenty of food options and their Friday night party. The apartment had everything I needed for a monthly long stay and was lovely and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was powerful, and they even brought in extra fans so I could keep cool whilst I worked during the day and helped me to arrange a car rental. It was such an enjoyable stay I am keen to return next year, so I would highly recommend this airbnb to anyone wanting to explore Barbados.

Casablanca has a very homey vibe. It is spacious with big bedrooms and well laid out kitchen, living room and patio. Beautiful surroundings. I loved the electric stove and quality cooking pots and pans. The pool area was very chill and beautiful as well. Cleaning staff and ground keeper were very friendly, flexible and helpful. Loved it .

Shameika place was exactly as listed. Clean and spacious airbnb for two people. It felt very much at home and I would stay again. It was very close to the beach which was across the street and not too far from the airport and other surrounding places. I felt very much like a local there. The supermarket and other shops were a 10 minute walk from the airbnb. The people in Barbados were kind and the neighbors. I am happy to have found this spot. Shameika was kind and responsive when we needed things from her as well. Thanks again!

We enjoyed the stay at Leslee Ann’s. The beds were comfy and the area quiet. The space was clean and well appointed. The washer and dryer were clutch. We rented a car and it was a great location in a quieter section of the island but always felt safe. We would recommend to anyone.

The place was a lovely self-contained apartment, everything working and in great order, The neighbors are very easy to speak to and welcoming, a supermarket in Petrol station 5 min round the corner. It is a great Location, down a quiet cul-de-sac a nice walk to the coast, but be prepared to walk up the hill to get back, but buses and taxis are on hand!

The apartment was ideally located, close enough to the beach so that it was accessible (15-20mns walking) and close to Oistins (30mns walking) and all the restaurants there. The house is exactly as advertised with all the equipment you need to have an amazing stay in Barbados. The house felt nice and breezy even without AC! We loved our stay and would come recommend to our friends.

101 Palm Beach was a nice surprise. The condo matched the description on Airbnb and we couldn't have been any more pleased with our decision to book it. Realtors Limited was very responsive and contacted us shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was OK. They also provided a nice concierge service and connected us to a reliable and polite taxi driver. He was able to take us everywhere we wanted to go. I am very familiar with this area in the Barbados we were glad to call it home for 2 weeks. We will definitely try to book through Realtors Limited for next year.

We have had a fabulous holiday here, the apartment was perfect, spacious and beautifully furnished. The communication has been excellent especially with Jacqui who organised a great hire car for us and was just so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the views from the patio where we spent the morning drinking coffee and having breakfast. Location was close to good restaurants and the unit had plenty of space to accommodate our family of 5. The pool was a good size and perfect to take a late afternoon swim after an exploring the island (and was in the shade for the late afternoon). The location felt very secure with gated access to/from the beach, the street, and interior doors that were locked late in the evening to access the elevators. Parking spot is very narrow and was a bit tricky to navigate, but we made it work.

Our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers stayed 20-27 December. In condo 305 on the 3 rd floor at Sapphirr Beach Condominiums. We really enjoyed the condo. It was spacious, comfortable and nicely equipped. The location was terrific. Directly on Dover Beach which is lovely for swimming and surfing. Two great pools to swim in. Close to St Lawrence Gap and all it nice restaurants and bars. All in all a lovely condo and we would not hesitate to return. Prasad was easy to communicate with.

This property was even better than listed. It had everything you ever needed, and the management + staff made it happen. From security to the beach attendants, the service was exemplary. Our chef, Autteen was an absolute legend, Queen of the French toast, our Caribbean Queen! She always had a warm smile and poured lots of love into each day’s meal. Joan kept the place looking immaculate. The location is perfect. Beach is well maintained. Would definitely come back to stay at Smugglers again. Good vibes only!

Our stay at Villa 403 was absolutely wonderful. From the communication before we arrived with Sandy, the warm welcome and early check-in with Dawn we were made to feel very welcome. VotB is ideally located, beaches are stunning and quiet during our stay. The pool and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. We loved the local restaurants; check out Zacchio's next door, and the 'Life is Sweet' Dessert bar across the road. Activities available to book from Holetown beach if you want them; we enjoyed a boat trip with snorkelling stops where we swam with turtles & stingray. The vendors are not pushy and we felt very safe and welcomed by them. Of course, the highlight of our sty was Coral! the listing does not make it clear that Villa 403 has the most marvellous housekeeper, Coral, who will make your stay magical! nothing was too much trouble for her- she washed our laundry (which smelled amazing!),shopped & cooked amazing Bajan food. We loved our stay and would rebook without question
