Villa holiday rentals in Barbate

We stayed for two weeks, the location of the villa is great - a very short drive to the supermarket, coffee places, and into Sorogrande marina itself. The Villa is beautiful, spacious and light and Veena is an excellent host who sourced a travel cot and high chair at short notice and was extremely helpful and responsive from initial booking to checkout. The pool is great and the terrace is perfect for cooking on the bbq and chilling in the evening. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough, it was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents.

Firstly, I would like to thank José and Cristina for their kindness and very good welcome that we had from the reservation, and of course upon our arrival. They explained how everything worked in the house, and they gave us very interesting information about what to do and see in the area. The villa was not missing a detail, it is beautiful and very well cared for. I forgot to bring the iron from home, but there was one in the house, and even the ironing board. If they even left us an electric brush charger! Amazing. We will try to come back when it gets warmer, so you can enjoy the pool (we travel in December). I highly recommend that you enjoy a few days in this house, you will love the welcome of the hosts, how flirtatious it is decorated, and the area that is beautiful. We had the best stay at Luisa's villa! It was way bigger than we expected from the pictures with essentially 3 apartments in 1 but with still a perfect sitting out area for the whole family. The views from the swimming pool were gorgeous and the garden was very big. Villa was perfect for the kids as well - loads of space to run around with trampoline, hammock and fenced off pool so we didn't have to worry about them falling in. We used the bbq lots, visited nearby beaches which were all lovely, went to the Bahia aqua park only 15 minute drive away, visited Gibralter rock to see monkeys. Honestly I think this was the best villa I've ever stayed in! Thanks Luisa!

El Cortijo is an absolutely lovely house on a gorgeous finca! Romantic and authentic! House is extremely well kept and superbly equipped. Highly recommended for a family vacation if u like nature in style and a certain degree of isolation. Only downside I can think of were the mosquitoes, which swarm in after sunset and do not allow for dinners outside.

Juan’s place is very comfortable and absolutely beautiful! The decor and design are exactly to our taste. The lofts that are tastefully secured by rope posed a slight challenge for us with an adventurous two year old in tow but not enough to detour us from staying again should Juan have us back. The pool is very clean, the patio and lawn are very comfortable and the outdoor kitchen is a dream to cook and eat in. It was a wonderful stay!

Best place I have ever been to!

The house it’s in the most beautiful spot. It’s super clean we spent most of the time in the patio by the pool. The kitchen it’s well equipped and has a BBQ but we didn’t use either as there are so many amazing restaurants in Zahara. The bedlinen it’s cotton which I appreciate, I missed the feather pillows but the pillows were ok. The patio and pool area are the best, sun sets beautiful from the pool, also the pool so well maintained and the maintenance people came while everyone it’s sleep so it was ready in the morning. mid week they came to clean the house and changed towels which it was great. The beach is 4 min walk and it’s a lovely beach not so busy. The lighthouse a short 20 min walk and views from there are great. The location it’s the best it’s very tranquil and peaceful in the evening. We had a great week We loved Zahara and the Villa

We had an amazing time with 3 families! Everything was perfectly equipped - comfy beds, full kitchens, great showers, and each casita had its smart TV and outdoor space. The saltwater pool was spectacular, with enough sun loungers, a nice bar, and a cozy seating area. The homes were spotless and well stocked with the basics, plus large towels for the pool or the beach. The location is perfect: just 7 minutes from the beaches of Costa de la Luz and 5 minutes from supermarkets such as Lidl, Aldi and Dia. The place is located in a very quiet area, next to the Natural Park of La Breña, ideal for nature and hikes. Although at first the price seemed high, calculated per person (€50 per night), it was a fantastic offer for this level of luxury. Thank you Oscar, we will certainly come back!

We passed a great bridge, enjoying the house and the cuisine and entertainment of the area, 100% recommended, it would be interesting to repeat in summer to enjoy the pool and the beach.

The only real word for the villa is Wow! It is a beautiful place and probably the most well equipped villa we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen was amazing and had everything you could want and more. The pool was amazing and the games room, basketball and boules kept the teens happy. The cinema room was also a major hit. Views from the top deck of the sunset were fantastic. The only downside from our perspective was that there was only 1 restaurant in walking distance. We also visited in August when it was very, very busy. Because the villa was very close to the beach the road was busy all day with people parking outside the villa. Only a small thing and it didn’t detract from being a fabulous holiday. Dagmar the host was also super helpful and even packaged up my son’s teddies that we accidentally left behind so they could be sent back to the UK. Overall a top experience and highly recommended.

What an absolutely lovely home!! We had the best week with family enjoying the gardens, the pool and just being all together. The main house and the guest house are both beautiful, incredibly clean and have everything you might need. We will absolutely be back!!!

Almost everything from 10, my family was super happy with everything. The only thing, maybe the mattresses were uncomfortable, but everything else was perfect. Monica is very friendly and attentive. THANK YOU

Juany, the owner, was extremely nice and available throughout. She has created a little heaven where families can peacefully enjoy the sun inside the incredibly well maintained garden. The new swimming pool is beautiful and has all the safeties for children. Property was sparkling clean and nicely decorated, we wish we had stayed longer! Very calm area and under 10min drive to the beach and Conil center. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay all around. Jose was very responsive and provided a lot of helpful information leading up to the stay. We arrived late on a Sunday and he kindly ordered some pizzas for us to go collect in Arcos. The amount of wonderful drinks and snacks when we arrived surpassed anything I would have expected. The house itself is in a stunning gated neighbourhood and is less than 10 minutes drive to Arcos. We enjoyed it so much one day we changed our plans to stay longer at the house. For anyone with teenage children and a car, we would highly recommend this property. Thank you Jose!

Great, beautiful place with amazing view and peaceful lifestyle.

The villa is modern, spacious and clean with all possible amenities. Sun area barbecue and lovely pool. It's a short walk to the local supermarket and there are many restaurants close by. Caroline is a great host and we highly recommend this Villa.
