Holiday rentals in Barkley Sound

We had a great stay! Michelle let us check in a bit early and met in person to go over everything about the property, which was helpful. The house was perfect for us and was so nice to have the fenced in yard for the dogs and the hot tub to soak in at the end of the day!

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

The house is very nice, simply and tastefully furnished, modern and warm. The equipment was as described in the advert and very good. There were two of us in the house, but it is well suited for four people. The location on the edge of Parksville is quiet. The neighbourhood is not particularly interesting, but you don't notice any of that in the house and beautiful garden. And the house is a good base for excursions in the neighbourhood. We would book here again another time.

Great for a relaxing time away from home absolutely, and just watch the trees sway in the wind while enjoying a nice dip in the hot after lots of exploring !!

We loved our stay at Cheryl’s. There is Everything you could ever need already there! I felt right at home and cozy there! We will definitely return!

Awesome cabin right by the water - waking up to that view was perfect. Place had everything we needed for cooking in, and very comfy beds. Would definitely stay again.

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

We stayed at Heather and Robs place for 3 nights and it was absolute bliss. It was great to be able to bring our dogs and be provided with pet bowls. The house was spacious and perfect for our family of 4. We spend 3 beautiful days on the beaches around the area and truly enjoyed every minute. This was not our first visit to Port Renfrew so we were prepared with food and drinks but as a heads up to anyone not familiar with the area, it is remote and there are not a lot of options to eat out in the off season. We did enjoy a couple meals at the pub but loved having the full kitchen to be able to prepare meals at the house. Highly recommend this place for a getaway. The view is breathtaking from the kitchen, living room and dining area. You could spend all day just watching the wildlife from the comfort of your Airbnb. Thanks so much, Heather and Rob!
