Cottage holiday rentals in Basque Country

Beautiful week in murua. Very nice natural environment. The cottage is excellent, very functional and in perfect condition, very welcoming. Pilar excellent hostess, very friendly and well prepared. An ideal place to disconnect and at a reasonable distance from other points of the Basque country. I would definitely come back, a week we fall short

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. A beautiful home to stay in Stunning location with wonderful views and the surrounding countryside was fabulous. Irati and her family made us very welcome including our two dogs. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The house was spotless and had every home comfort. A beautiful beach at Laga which we managed to visit with our dogs. Many beaches in Spain do not allow dogs but one part of the beach was accessible for them. We very much enjoyed our stay We made the most of the pretty garden with the pergola and bbq.

The cottage is truly amazing - we enjoyed the great pool, the house was clean and we had all we needed. Desiree is very friendly and responsive and quickly resolved any questions we might have. We loved the area and made a hike to Castillo de Allendelagua and read the interesting story about the templar knight Camilo de Carbajales. The house is close to the highway which takes you whenever you want to go. I can highly recommend the cottage and thank the host for the hospitality.

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

We've spent two days on Christmas 12 adults, a boy and two dogs and it's been great. The house was as seen in the photos. The kitchen in the house downstairs is huge and we were able to eat all together without problems. Communication with Asier was quick and easy, he answered all our questions with infinite patience. I recommend it 100%.

Lander's place is amazing. It is located in a very quiet area on the mountain, perfect for a few days of disconnection, but close to the necessary amenities in Markina which is only 5 minutes away by car. Communication with him was very good, he responded quickly to messages, he was very attentive. The reception was made by a relative of his who lives in a nearby village and was also very friendly, giving us the necessary instructions. As for the house, it has all the necessary kitchen utensils, lots of crockery, and highlight the detail of leaving us tablets for the dishwasher. The rooms were very cozy, match perfectly with the description and photos posted on the ad. Also to be grateful for the amount of towels there was for the shower. Finally, the terrace and garden area was a real wonder. All in all, we all left very happy about the place, promising to come back and above all recommend it. A liking!

The house was spotless, consists of three floors, the play area is in the garage,very well equipped for both adults and children, it has two more floors with dining room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and 4 bedrooms. All well equipped with sheets, towels, sanitary utensils. The only thing that did not coincide with the idea we had when seeing the photos is that the outside area is not in the same house, you have to go out and cross in front of it, where there is a porch and a barbecue, land does not have much. The only downside is the issue of heating, it is controlled by the host and sometimes we have gone to heat, but you can't turn it off, you have to be telling you to raise it to the temperature drop. The village is quite secluded, there is only a butcher, a bar and a branch of La Caixa, so the area is super quiet surrounded by nature. From the house is San Sebastián 1 hour and a little, Vitoria an hour and Pamplona 45 minutes. People in the area are very friendly.

Wonderful attention from the two of us, close and friendly treatment. Family friendly atmosphere. The option of being able to do the tasting in the winery is great and the treatment and experience was even better. The rooms are very good and also each has its own bathroom, ideal for large groups. Highly recommended

Our stay at Alberto's place was great. The perfect communication and space to spend a few days with the family. Highlighting the great living room with the fireplace, which is wonderful. In addition, the environment is very nice for routes in the Gorbea area. We will definitely repeat. Regards.

The stay at Laura's house was great, it has magnificent views of the Sierra de Codés and Peak Yoar. The porch and garden are phenomenal, the two puppies we have enjoyed a lot. Both Laura by phone and her father Fausti in the village were attentive at all times. And a tipzo to find when arriving, on a cold day, the fireplace lit. Highly recommended

The house is great, according to what it describes. The heating and the fireplace work great. It's big and tidy. Jaione is very attentive.

We had a great stay and are very satisfied with both the house and the host. Flexible check-in made our arrival stress-free, and we truly appreciated the privacy—we could fully enjoy our time with family and guests without any interruptions. The house was clean and well-maintained. While it feels slightly more spacious in the pictures, the abundance of beds was perfect for accommodating our group. We were great at the house, which was super spacious and super fixed. Ideal for 8 people. We went 9 and there was a folding bed that was not too comfortable, so the person sleeping there did not rest much, but otherwise everything was ideal. Huge kitchen/dining room, the house always warm, spacious rooms… no complaints.

Absolutely stunning stay, with views of the vineyard. Maria greeted us, even though we arrived late. She was warm, kind, and shared local suggestions for vineyards and food. The only regret was not staying longer- I would definately come back and stay here again.

We had an incredible few days! The house seemed spectacular, very complete, with everything you need and many additional amenities to what you can expect. Perfect to spend time with family and children too. The location is great and the landscapes are beautiful. Our stay at the Mara Mara cottage was perfect. The house is tastefully renovated and also has a modern and simple decoration, making it very comfortable and cozy. The house is located in a very quiet area, but it has supermarket 10-15'by car. In addition, it is located near towns and cities of interest. Finally, Estíbaliz is an exceptional host, friendly and thoughtful. He has been attentive to us at all times and resolved all the doubts we were able to have. Thank you very much! We felt right at home!

A big thank you to Alfredo and his wife for their hospitality and kindness. The house is ideal for gathering as a family with a large warm living room and a practical and functional kitchen. It is located in the heart of Guipuzcoa in a postcard landscape, convenient to shine in the area. Great value as well. Highly recommend

The house is much bigger and nicer than we expected. The views are incredible and at night you see the stars.Decorated to detail. Impressively equipped. The host was very attentive and kind. She was flexible with the departure so we could enjoy more. It's certainly much more than we expected, and it far exceeded our expectations.

Everything was very good, my friends and I went to spend the weekend and the truth is that spectacular, I will be back without thinking.

The stay at Alexia's place was excellent. The house transmits a lot of tranquility due to its decor, distribution and environment in which it is located. The host Alexia is very helpful and friendly. The price is somewhat high, but for a few days it is worth it.
