Castle holiday rentals in Bavaria

Room S1 in the basement suited us well with our big dog and ski gear. The field at the end of the lane was good for a short dog walk. Everything was easily available, to purchase from the farm shop and the house was quiet for sleeping. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything is great. The accommodation is amazing, clean and all the guests are very respectful. When you check in they have the detail of leaving you fresh milk from their own animals and you can feel super comfortable. The only drawback is the location if you don't have your own vehicle as the bus runs every 2 hours and isn't available on weekends. The workers are very friendly and are always willing to help you, they gave us a ride when we didn't have transportation available. I would definitely recommend it!

This is a place for pure nature lovers, where you will find 50 shades of green and great hospitality of the Abraham family.

It was beautiful there! Idyllic village and incredibly quiet! Very nice hosts and very accommodating! Castle apartment even larger than expected :) you had your peace but never felt left alone. Would do it again and recommend it ☺️

Scenic place with great atmosphere. Were here for two nights and are absolutely convinced of the implementation of the concept with the shared kitchen and also beautiful garden. Totally flexible on site with a small 'shop‘ in the house, where you can relax and get everything important! The hosts were very friendly! Glad to come back

Schloss Mörlbach is a special place. It’s so peaceful, the garden is lovely and the surroundings are beautiful. For children there are swings, trampoline, table tennis, badminton and a zip-line to play with outside. Everyone here are very friendly. If you don’t mind sharing facilities, it’s the perfect place to stay. Personally we have enjoyed it very much. There’s plenty of room and space for all to relax. The location is also great. It is not far from Münich and close to Starnberger See. There’s lots to see and do.

Great apartment in a castle, Thobias is a super nice and helpful host. I can recommend the apartment to any traveler without restrictions.

Thank you very much for this special place, a romantic property with garden, chickens, sheep, old trees, ponds, small chapel and bright bell guys on Sunday morning. The large Haus Schloß Mörlbach is lovingly furnished to many details. In the hallways & stairwells you will find posters of the great concerts that the castle owner has organized. It is also an ideal house if you want to rent an entire hallway for a family celebration. Next time I will definitely come with our adult children, because then we can also use a music room with piano to practice. There's a lot more than what you need. In any case, it is recommended to read the detailed descriptions as preparation. Thank you also for the room upgrade from the basement rolling sound band room to the room on the 2nd floor. The Demeter farm with cafe for breakfast with the great products was particularly unique. I'd love to come back if we are nearby.

I had a short but nice stay there. The Airbnb was neat, clean and as described. There's nothing to complain about for me. I'd love to come back if I have to go back to the area.

The rooms were sparkly clean and pleasant to stay in. Great beds to have a good night's rest and a beautiful garden to have an early morning breakfast with the sheeps around and the sunrise. Completely worth a visit.

Everything worked out great, super hostess. The price was fair, of course the stay in an old castle is not very cheap. The surrounding area is very nice, you can take many great excursions and also a bus stop is nearby.

Chic apartment with everything you need. Very modern furnishings and clean. Check in was easy and flexible. A little off the beaten path, but grocery store and a pizzeria nearby. Great location in the castle.

Spent three nights here and was very happy with everything. The communication was also super accommodating in advance and the location is in the immediate vicinity of the Franconian Saale top. In one direction you are quickly in the middle of the spa town and in the other direction it quickly gets even quieter and more rural. The villa is very nice. You notice that you also live here, but you always have enough space and tranquility to yourself with the room and shared bathroom.

It was a really great family stay! A great adventure at Weitersroda Castle, with easy to use fireplaces to heat yourself, a super nice host and everything for an unforgettable experience! Thank you to Florian for everything and we will be happy to come back to this colorful, cozy and exciting castle!

I was looking for a place to stay very spontaneously and found it here. Extremely straightforward and friendly hosts. The house is great as shown in the pictures and the room was spacious and cozy. Definitely recommend!
