Holiday rentals with lake access in Bayou Teche

This False River home was beautiful, spacious and full of light. My family enjoyed it so much we didn’t want to leave! In person, the home looked even better than the photos. All essentials were fully stocked and we had everything we needed. Check in and check out info and instructions were clearly communicated and check in was easy. We will try to book this exact home again the next time we visit the New Roads/Ventress area!

We loved staying on the bayou! It was fun to look out at the water at the birds. The cottage was in a great location to tour sites such as Avery Island, Jefferson Island, Lafayette, and surrounding towns. The cottage was cozy and a great place to kick back and relax.

My family came in town for Christmas and the property was perfect for our gathering…. It was located in a good area and the view was so peaceful

Very nice accomodations. Had a wedding to attend in the area and this was a great location.

Good location for our needs. Liked the ability to park vehicle in garage. Very nice yard and curb appeal. Had all the basic necessities and very well kept

Toni’s place was warm and cozy, as we were stuck inside during a once in a lifetime snowstorm. My family would love to go back and fish and hang out on the deck as orig planned!

Mr. Winston's place was great! It came as a recommendation from a friend of ours and it was a great recommendation. Nice quiet location with a scenic view of the bayou. You are about 4 minutes outside of the main part of Pierre Part. His cottage is spacious with everything that you need. We willl definitely be returning.

We stayed here to attend a LSU football game. It's about a 40-minute casual walk and a 25-minute power walk. We took an Uber/Lyft for $5 to a local Sports Bar which was halfway and just walked 10 minutes which was perfect. The inside of the place was better than described. The kitchen was well stocked and there was even a blender. The downside is that the "subdivision" is home to many different apartment buildings by different owners and they are not as well kept as this place and the people looked a bit sketchy. I was nervous about my car being parked there but I experienced no issues at all. The actual building has been totally remodeled inside and out and it looks better than the Google Maps picture. Strictly based on location this was great because we avoided traffic as many streets are blocked off as game time approaches. We were safe and our cars were safe. It took us 70 minutes to get to the New Orleans airport on a Sunday and it was an easy drive with no traffic.

James was very responsive. Check in/check out instructions were very clear. The apartment is recently renovated, furniture, including beds, were new, unit was very clean, and fit our needs.

My girlfriend is from the same neighborhood, so we had an amazing stay! Peaceful area, great park right next door. Beautiful sunrises over the Bayou Teche. The history of Patterson inside the unit! Great street views from the upstairs unit we stayed in. Great visit and we will be back again!

James place was great! Close to LSU, safe, and private. We enjoyed the nearly new bedding and furniture. We definitely will stay again!

This was a lovely home, very clean and host provided all the essentials for our stay. It was a bit different to find the unit so be sure to pay attention to the host’s directions. I had to call her back a few times because we got a bit lost. This was one of the most lovely and inviting places I have stayed at so far. It is very close to LSU if you are in town visiting students. The area is lovely!

With in walking distance of pretty much everything. Room was perfect and very clean

Our family enjoyed our stay. Very spacious, relaxing , private and comfortable. Steve was very responsive to any messages.

Laura was very pleasant and responded quickly to all of my questions. She went to check out the rental before we arrived to make sure everything was in order. Enjoyed communicating with her.

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our friends stay at this quaint, cozy, clean camp on False River. The sunrises and sunsets were fabulous and sitting around the fire pit was so relaxing! Would definitely return! Thanks for making us feel welcomed and the fine hospitality!

This is a charming spot to stay, and one that is incredibly well situated for visits to LSU! The space allowed us to spread out, cook, catch up on laundry and enjoy this pocket of Baton Rouge.

We loved the peacefulness and the tranquillity of the place. It was the perfect place to come home to after a hectic day. My sister being from up north was thrilled to see the local wild life. We will definitely be back!!

Nautical Escape was a very pleasant surprise. We were lucky to have cool sunny weather. My grandkids had a great time playing outside. It was very clean and had the supplies we needed. Nice linens wonderful towels. My only regret is not bringing something to grill on the nice big outside grill. I’m sure we will rent it again.

Kelly’s cozy cottage was the perfect weekend getaway! To the beautiful scenery to the thoughtful gifts she left for us. She was very responsive and even showed up to the cottage when something so fixable happened. Definitely will be booking again!!
