Sajeeva was incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us great recommendations of locsl things to do. Nothing was too much trouble. He showed us around the school and we saw the puppies. it was inspiring to hear the plans that he has for the development of the building. All of the money for the rental goes towards the School. A real humbling experience.

Excellent Staff! Very well maintained premises, neat and clean but the highlight has to be the staff. The host was very prompt and helpful, prior to and throughout the stay. A little out of the way and secluded.Not much to do around the property, but that's why we loved it. Better with your own vehicle for transport. Pls do get the staff to prepare your meals, the best food we had on our trip to SL. Would definitely stay at pineapple Villa on my next trip to SL. Thank you Tushari, Hema and Randini.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

An amazing place to stay and enjoy the beauty that is Mirissa. Till was very proactive and helpful, with everything right from the instructions for the house to local recommendations. The house is very lovely, we were a big family of 8 and each one of us enjoyed the stay.

We spent three nights at Anna’s place as a family of 3, with a 5 year old. The villa is in a really good location - a 20 minute walk from the main road of restaurants and Unawatuna beach, so away from the hustle and bustle and noise at night (save for the odd wild barking dog!) We found that tuk tuk drivers were reluctant to pick up in the jungle up here using pick me or uber so we either walked or flagged one down if one drove past on the off chance. To overcome this we took peoples numbers on return journeys from dinner and text to see if they were around to pick up! Anna is an attentive and super friendly host and always on hand to answer questions via the app. Her mother in law Sujatha always welcomed us with a smile when we returned to the villa. She also turned the lights on outside the villa for our return for the evening and moved our washing out of the rain when we left it which we thought was super cute. Beautiful big villa just outside Galle fort. 5 mins by tuktuk. Spacious bedrooms and a large pool. Excellent food too. We were very well looked after. The house is on a quiet street with not much within walking distance so need to tuktuk everywhere.

We had an incredible 4-night stay at this stunning heritage property in Unawatuna! The rooms were beautifully maintained, retaining their original charm and character. What truly made our stay exceptional were the wonderful caretakers, Nalaka and Chandana. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. From arranging transportation to recommending and providing delicious food options, they were always available to help. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home. We can't thank them enough for their kindness and hard work. Chris is a great host and very responsive. If you're looking for a unique and authentic experience in Sri Lanka, look no further! Im a travel agent from Vancouver . After 12 days biking around Sri Lanka with a group of friends we were looking for a little down time . This property is hidden away in a lovely quiet lane only steps from Marissa’s main stripe & beach . Best decision we made was to eat at the property. The lovely hosts made us dinner. Hands down our breakfasts & dinners were the best we’ve had ! That’s saying something as we all love the food here ! I’d highly recommend this little gem .

We had a really nice time in Karin hair. Everything is perfectly fine and clean! Nice beach within walking distance and everything is easily accessible with the tuktuk driver. Sathish the house manager was very friendly and easily accessible with questions.

Etmba House is such a treat! The home is cozy, stunning, and perfect for a family getaway. We really enjoyed spending our days there. Everything is clean, and the crew—Nuan, Michael, and Shehaan—are super attentive and outstanding. A special mention to Thilakshi, whose delicious local dishes were so fun to try. It’s the ideal spot to relax, whether lounging by the pool, soaking in the quiet, or listening to the calls of peacocks. The location is fantastic too—close to Galle and several beautiful beaches, with Autos and Ubers readily available. Lara is communicative and can answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend it and we cannot wait to be back!

We had a lovely stay at Valentina’s villa. Perfect location, with excellent communication and support from Valentina. A lovely, chilled way to end our stay in Sri Lanka.

Chris's villa felt like a home from home for our short stay, he and his team at the villa were amazing and so attentive to our party. Roshan is a wonderful chef and our breakfasts were so fresh and delicious. The BBQ that he organised for us next to the beach one evening was unbelievable, especially the whole butter fish and prawns. The villa is ideally situated in Unawatuna but we were also close enough to nip to Weligama on tuk-tuks to try surfing, and up to Galle for shopping and dining. Chris's team were more than happy to promptly assist with organising tuk tuks and van hire for us whenever we needed them. The pool at the villa was perfect for our kids to splash about in during the afternoons as it was shaded by then. They also loved finding hermit crabs at the beach and spotting chipmunks, geckos and even a monkey on the villa roof one morning. We would thoroughly recommend Chris's villa to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a beautiful part of Sri Lanka. Hope to be back soon!

I recently stayed at the Tea House Villa and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and professional. Check-in was smooth, and Mr.Isuru made sure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room spotless throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the villa's pool area . The pool was well-maintained, with plenty of loungers available. The Forest and paddy fields was just steps away, The on- site chefs served delicious food, Overall, I highly recommend the Tea House Villa for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay. I would definitely return in the future! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.8/5)

Secluded and romantic weekend in a thoughtfully designed home in the midst of fields. Umesh is a fantastic cook with great service - every dish was delicious, fresh and had us heaping second helpings on our plate . The spiced pineapple dessert was quite heavenly- don't miss eating dinners here. We mostly lazed around and read, watched birds and squirrels and wrapped up our honeymoon on a lovely calm note. Thank you Hettie, for being so responsive and generous as a host!

Best place ever! So happy on arrival and throughout whole stay. Duminda helped to organise and arrange whale watching, turtle sanctuary, snorkelling , scooter hire. His mum even cooked a traditional Sri Lankan dinner for our last night at Oasis Cabanas. We chose and liked this place so much because it is situated in the country side about 3km inland from Hikkaduwa town, which can feel busy at times. The wildlife in and around the garden was incredible. It was nice to see fire flies lighting in the stary night sky and to enjoy the calming chorus of insects and crickets serenading us to sleep!. We stayed in several other places whilst on short trips, this was by far our favourite. Can’t wait to stay again. Chris and Sarah, UK.

Brilliant stay! Warm, welcoming family and Kasun was always quick to respond. He gave us excellent recommendations for the area! Spacious villa, gorgeous garden with sunbeds and easy tuk tuk parking within gate. The washing machine was amazing to have, with a line in the sun where clothes dry quickly. Convenient small grocery next door for all the essentials. Ask for the homemade cake. Yum! Some delicious local restaurants in the residential area near villa. 5-10 minute drive to Weligama Beach and 15 to Mirissa. Highly recommend! Thank you again.

I’m a single woman traveling alone from the U.S. and from the first moment meeting the hosts, I felt like I was part of this beautiful family. I have friends forever here! So warm and welcoming and accommodating. What a beautiful example of Sri Lankan hospitality. The hostess is always eager to cook you a delicious Sri Lankan meal. They put in so much effort to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I need. Excellent all around! Incredible value, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful home, quick access to Hikkaduwa beach. The host has also been my personal tour guide of the area, which has a lot to see and experience. In particular the tsunami of 2004 was quite devastating to this area, and there are many memorials that are heart-opening. This family even rented a car and drove me eight hours to the center of the island where we spent the night together experiencing other sites! Incredible! I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting to have a unique, personal experience!

A great place to stay - right on the beach, lovely little outside seating and inside seating. Big space and super clean. The Shack restaurant and bar is really fun with amazing food, and very very nice staff - They make you feel very at home. Would definitely recommend this stay, and it’s good value for money. Also close to Galle - 10 min or less in tuk tuk/ motorbike. Thanks :) xx

Shamila wasn't present personally but he ensured all the things are in place :) His mother was very helpful and considerate. We used the utensils and tried to make as less dirty as possible :P Location is spot on, away from hustle-bustle of the town and close to the bus stop. We will recommend the stay for all our friends :)
