Living Rock Campsite #2

JamesRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Marcs campground was perfect for our stay in Terilingua. The Mountain views were fantastic. You cannot beat waking up to the Sunrise over the Mountain tops. We also really enjoyed how close the Restaurants, shops, and bars were in the town of Terilingua too. The bathhouse with a shower also made our 4 day camping experience much more tolerable! It was nice to freshen up every morning with a hot shower before hitting the trails in Big Bend!

Terlingua Casita de Chile's

TammyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This camper was the perfect refuge after spending each day in the national park and surrounding towns. It had everything we needed and Mark & Michelle’s hospitality is unmatched. The front porch visiting was awesome and provided such a sense of welcoming and community. Didn’t get to use the hot tub but will next time. I would highly recommend staying at Chile! Oh and they have the best pup named Chula! Also lots of wildlife all around the property. The javalina and grey foxes were so cool to view!

Bus Jack - Primitive Campsite on Terlingua Ranch

Nishesh KumarRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This was a topnotch location to camp for a night. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. I had a regular car and made it here without problem, but would recommend 4 wheel drive for much better driving experience. You pay for the entire campground, so you are all by yourself or with your group and enjoy the privacy. Overall, I loved this place and would return if I am in Big Bend area.

Fabulous views, lovely toilets and shower and close to the National and State parks just above the Terilingua Ghost town. A Great option for camping. Marc was a great help sorting out which of his spots was best for our mix of a car and 2 solo tents.

Retro Rents Painted Ladies, Betty

BarryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really enjoyed this stay. Location is within walking distance of most everything in Terlingua. The space was much roomier than anticipated and very cozy. I will definitely be back to stay in Betty or any of the hosts campers. 2 o’clock check in is awesome too.

The Flamingo RV w/ Great Views + Patio

WilliamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a unique and special Airbnb experience. First, the location for accessing Big Bend NP is about as good as it gets, and restaurants and store in Terlingua about 20 minutes away. The surrounding view is fantastic. Wally's communication was timely, efficient, and thoughtful. Check in and out, a breeze with lockbox. The place itself is deceptively complete- although remote and off the grid, you have flush toilet, hot shower, and no-issue wifi. All was clean and towels/linens great, too. The price is on the low end of less desirable places in my research. Although on the front end, I had some worries, those were unfounded; after my stay I am all in on enthusiastically recommending Wally's place!

Corazon Sanctuary Peyote Tipi

CarolinaRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Incredible stay! We were easily able to work out a few kinks with the reservation and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The simplicity and magnificent beauty of the place were unmatched. Far enough off 118 to feel remote and close enough to be able to easily access nearby stores and BBNP. Thank you again, Mariah, for hosting us!

The Terlingua Bus Stop

JacobRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Exactly as described. Remote enough to feel isolated, but close enough to enjoy the comforts of civilization. Spacious and relaxing. My wife and I wanted a getaway where I could enjoy the ruggedness of Chisos and she could still have the amenities she accustomed to. We got what we asked for. Dark skies, camp fires, grilled meats and a comfortable bed. Our host took extra time to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

HighView campsite -High clearance vehicle only

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The location was great. Easy to get to Big Bend and was given very clear directions with recommendations on where to shower. We loved the views and the privacy. It was very rocky, which that is stated in the description of the place. The large rocks helped to tie everything down. The ground was uneven but that was the only thing that was hard to deal with. I am a total city girl and this was my first time to camp. It was a great value for the location of the campsite and how close it is to Big Bend. Thank you for an eventful camping trip.

Big Bend views from Terlingua ghost town

ScottRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay at Colin’s place. It is a camper, so the space is small, but you have a large outdoor patio with a couch, outdoor kitchen area, and a separate patio with table and chairs. The outdoor space was wonderful! There are two refrigerator/freezers. There is one inside the camper and one outside, so there is plenty of space for your food. There is a gas stove inside and a large gas grill outside. Colin was so helpful with giving us ideas for hikes. There are also guide books and brochures to browse for ideas. We were able to visit both Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park, plus the area around us in Terlingua.

Koala trailer Trailer, 10 minutes to Big Bend

MarisaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Perfect location in Terlingua for a visit to Big Bend. Close to restaraunts and an easy drive to Big Bend. We had 2 people in the Koala and 2 people in our camper van. This arrangement was perfect for our needs. The bed in the Koala was so soft and comfortable causing us to fall asleep immediately! The outdoor kitchen was nice for early morning coffee. Great stars in Terlingua and a bonus of fireworks for NYE.

Bee Mountain BnB - RV

BeatriceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Martie’s place had everything we needed for long hiking days - comfy bed, hot shower, fridge/microwave/stove for quick meals, space heaters for cold mornings. It is located only 8 minutes from the park entrance. Martie is very friendly, gracious and responsive, she even brought us her favorite water from the Chisos Mountains when the running water had to be turned off overnight due to freezing conditions.
