Mesa Hideout, Off-Grid Adobe in Terlingua Ranch

The adobe is perched high on the edge of Jack Eden Mesa in the Chihuahuan Desert. The rustic adobe overlooks the historic Comanche Trail and is built near an ancient Indian campsite as evidenced by metate's, stacked rocks and a petroglyph. This is a very remote location and will provide you with a unique, wild west experience not available many other places. The one room cabin has 4 twin beds. All water is captured rainwater and must be used conservatively. There is limited cell phone service.

Terlingua Belle & Private Bathhouse-Locally Owned

Terlingua Belle is a furnished 13 foot glamping tent with heat, air conditioning and a private bathhouse located just minutes from the Ghosttown. The tent is set up on a private "nook" on the property - no other tents or tipis on the property! Comfortable outdoor seating makes for an amazing view of the night sky as well as beautiful sunrises. Lighted pathways lead from the parking area to the tent and from the tent to the bathhouse. Belle is located about 1 mile off the highway on a dirt road.

"Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" is a covered 27' travel trailer on a quiet, semi-private (are 2 other RVs) 50a tract w/ views of the beautiful desert, Willow Mtn, Wildhorse Mtn, and Bee Mtn. Great location-.2 mi. off of Hwy 118, 2 mi. N of Study Butte-restaurants, gas, groceries. 5 min. to Big Bend National Park west entrance, 8 min. to Terlingua GhostTown, 20 min. to Big Bend Ranch State Park. Covered deck to watch sunsets, fire pit to sit under the stars. Private trails on the property.

Living Rock Campsite #1

Our campsite is located on the hill behind Terlingua Ghost Town, 1/2 mile from Restaurants and shopping. Campfires are allowed. We have a composting toilet on the campground and an outdoor shower available. The view from your campsite is a 360 degree panoramic view of the Big Bend region complete with a sunrise over the Chisos and a sunset in the Chihuahuan desert of Mexico. The road to the campsite is unpaved. Take it slowly, any car will make it. One tent per site, please. Tent not included.

This property is a modest off-grid place to hang out with sparse neighbors and dark skies. Located on a private 36 acre lot 15 minutes from the entrance to the National Park and the area's main bars, restaurants and shops. The property is surrounded by mountain bluff views making for great sunsets and sun rises. This spot is perfect for outdoorsy folks who want low key private lodging away from others while still being close to the areas main attractions. A high clearance vehicle recommend.

Off grid and eco-friendly, these glass front casitas are the perfect place for you or your group to unplug, unwind, and reconnect to what matters. Your space and privacy are our number one goal, so the three cabins are spaced 150 feet apart with private bathrooms. We have only 2 other sites on the 160 acre property and they are out of view almost 1/2 mile away. Enjoy mountain views to the north, east and south, and sunset views deep into Mexico to the west, with no other dwellings in site!

Alice is a 28 Ft Argosy by Airstream, filled with a fun decor with a few ( lots ) of flamingos that keep her cozy and fun. Terlingua is a destination and our Alice's deck is THE spot to sit and watch the sun set in the East as well as the west! There are no streetlights so as the sun fades, the stars begin to shine and the milky way washes across the sky just for you. So if your looking for a for laid back time, or an adventure come enjoy a true Airstream experience.

5 acres of the Terlingua ghost town all to yourself! Walk to the Starlight Theatre and graveyard, drive 15 minutes to get to Big Bend National Park. Take a shower under the Milky Way and enjoy modern conveniences while still getting a true taste of the Wild West. Max: 2 adults can sleep on the queen bed, 2 children could sleep in the fold-out couch (it's short for adults). Pitch a tent on the property if you'd like! Ask about extra guests.
