Our stay was excellent. Had everything that we needed.

Perfect Christmas getaway in this beautiful house that instantly felt like home. Clear instructions to arrive and access the property and a helpful guide book on the inside. Huge space to spread out in once inside the house. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need and more, only down side was the plates and utensils/cutlery were a little grubby and all needed a good clean before they could be used. Coffee machine could be listed as I would have brought pods with me. There was even a slow cooker which really came in handy and plenty of Pyrex dishes and knives. Beds all comfy and bedrooms spacious, again with everything you need including a hair dryer! Plenty of storage space and hangers and nice thick towels provided. Utility room a godsend with a large family and meant I could keep on top of the washing, only thing missing was a clothes airer as not everything can be tumble dried. We planned a magical Christmas break and that’s exactly what we got, thank you.

Absolutely stunning views down to Atholl Castle. The farmhouse is perfect for 6 people and is warm and inviting from the minute you step in the door. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for everyone as we cooked each evening and sat round the dining table which has wonderful views. Beautifully furnished and a short drive from House of Bruar, Pitlochry and Loch Rannoch. 2nd time here and we shall be back for sure. Thanks again for the memories.

A beautiful location with stunning views towards Tentsmuir. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and we were very comfortable, especially with the welcome goodies . Gordon is a great host and very welcoming and only happy to assist. The accommodation is remote and very peaceful but only 15 minutes drive from Dundee or St Andrews. Tentsmuir Beach was great for our dog. Will be back in the future.

We had a great long weekend as a family of 8 in the caddyshack. The host kept us up to date with communication and the accommodation was well laid out and spacious for 8 adults, with each room enjoying its own en-suite. The apartment is ideally situated in the heart of Gullane but quiet and peaceful inside. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this listing and everything was immaculate.

Duncan was a really responsive host from the point of booking and the lead up to our trip. He was really helpful answering any of our questions swiftly and providing us with lots of options for places to eat and things to do. The house is exactly as it appears on the photos and the kitchen was well appointed allowing us to happily cook and bake! The sun terrace was a welcome addition even at this time of year, where we enjoyed the morning sun and the tremendous view of the loch. We will most certainly return, feeling quite at home with the real fire and comfortable beds. We really wanted for nothing, it was a home from home and a welcome break from the humdrum of work and everyday life! We felt like we were in the fjords looking out of the lounge window! If you are considering booking, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The photos simply don’t do the place justice.

We had a most wonderful stay with our family. The house was so beautiful and spacious and the kitchen was a dream for anybody who likes to cook. The location is perfect as it is so close to the town center and also to all the supermarkets. We loved being there and felt right at home.
