Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bitterroot River

We (two adults) stayed for two weeks with one medium sized dog. The place was clean, modern and very well equipped, which made it easy to just settle in. We have stayed at a number of places in Missoula while visiting our son and family. By far, this is our favorite. We intend to try to book this again when we return for our next visit. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Everything just works. The fenced yard in back was great for having a dog. The only minor item is that the house is located on 3rd Street which can get busy at commute times, but we didn't see that as a big issue and the other positives outweigh this minor location item. Proximity to downtown and river trail system was great for dog walks and heading to Morning Birds, Le Petit, or Bernices in the am for coffee. There was a porta-crib and other little kid supplies which we used when our grandson came over for a visit, an unexpected plus.

My wife and I used the home as a base as we were expecting a baby. it’s perfect for of us with plenty space and comfortable living room to relax in. Close to all the restaurants and grocery stores and hospital made this stay very stress free for us. Valerie is an amazing host who cared about us and made sure everything was perfect. She was the most accommodating Host I have worked with. I highly recommend this place.

Check-in was super easy. Home was really comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped.

We loved our stay at Erin’s place! She decorated for Christmas for our kids and stocked the fridge with water bottles and fresh eggs from their chickens. She responded quickly to requests. The house had everything we needed from the basics to a basket of ’I Forgot It!’ items in the bathroom. We would stay again and highly recommend it!

We had an appointment at St Patrick's hospital. Location was great for that. We travelled with our dog and the fenced in yard made things easy for us. He is a Husky mix and being off-leash in the snow let him really lean into his heritage!

Best place to stay in the Bitterroot Valley! This space is incredibly clean with all the comforts of home, room for the whole crew, and unbeatable views to the west and east. Top-notch communication from the host, with clear instructions and the easiest checkout process around. Pet-friendly features include a hardwood-floored great room and large, fully fenced back yard. Quiet residential neighborhood other than the dog next door that might bark at all hours. Perfectly located with proximity to travel routes and the county seat, Hamilton. The available two-car garage is useful in inclement or freezing weather, and if that weather keeps you indoors, there are bookshelves full of great books to read. Fantastic value, and we'll be back!

Very convenient for getting around Missoula. Right in the heart of downtown. Wynne was very responsive and laid out clear expectations of the beautiful space.

We really enjoyed the stay, the Silo conversion to a 2 bedroom was great, the wonderful openness of the farm in Montana, the Tea Room was a surprise, and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive. Thank you Steve and Jonni.

such a cozy and beautiful place. the yard around the grill area is so beautiful and the view is to die for !!!! so quiet and cozy. the cabin is very clean. beds are comfortable and good pillows.

We stayed here for a lacrosse game. Location was great, east to find and check in was easy. We had our dog on this trip and the gated back yard and doggie door were perfect! Thanks for sharing your place.

Great place to stay and rest your head for the night every thing you need in this perfectly sized home. Dogs loved having room to run in back yard!

We honeymooned in Montana & Collin’s place definitely made it worthwhile! The views were amazing!! You have a beautiful creek in the backyard surrounded by trees & mountains. The place was clean, as listed, and comfortable. We enjoyed the wood/fire heated hot tub after skiing. The town outside the Airbnb was full of great spots to eat. We would definitely stay here again to see the Montana summer!

Linda was very proactive and a great communicator. She reached out if we needed anything and made sure we had access to the hot tub. The place was beautiful and cozy very comfortable and the stream out the back was the cherry on top. We did lots of skiing at lost trail and Linda had great reccomendations for food in town. This home is stunning and perfect for a large family or friend gathering. Check in was simple, cleanliness was superb, linens were top notch and the decor added to a warm welcome. The view of Trapper Peak was amazing! We had our dogs with us and it was a great space to walk and enjoy morning coffee. The kitchen is very well appointed. All the gadgets and accouterments one could need to make large family meals were provided! If I have to give one piece of constructive criticism it would be to toss out some of the flaking teflon casserole dishes. We all loved our time and the home!

Our family had the most wonderful Christmas at this beautiful Airbnb! Growing up in Hamilton, I was thrilled to finally share Montana in this beautiful location with my husband and mother-in-law. The home was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, and the peaceful, private surroundings felt like a scene from a holiday movie. We hosted Christmas Eve dinner for my family, and the fully equipped kitchen made it so easy to prepare a full holiday meal. After dinner, we gathered around the outdoor fire pit, enjoying the crisp Montana air and the star-filled sky—it was truly magical. The host was amazing—when we asked to extend our stay by a day, she moved things around to make it work, going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Her kindness and responsiveness made everything seamless. If you’re looking for a serene and special place to create lasting memories, especially during the holidays, this is it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Larry's place is the perfect location for seeing a concert nearby, taking a stroll along the Blackfoot and Clark Fork rivers at the Milltown State Park, which is right across the river. We felt very lucky to have found this place and to have met Larry. We felt right at home.

Such a wonderful place to stay! There’s so much to do and it’s so cozy you don’t even need to leave. We would love to stay again in the future!

I can’t say enough about how fun and well appointed this house was. From the beautiful dishes to the super soft and beautiful linens everything was beyond what I was expecting. Great coffee bar with everything you’d need. The hot tub with the heated walk way was so much fun. There are deer that hang out under the tree that you can see while in it. With the pool table and dart board you don’t even need to leave. Can’t wait to go back!!!!
