Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bláskógabyggð

thank you for bringing such a modern and nature combined，comfortable and isolated，peaceful and convenient villa to the world! We love all details: a window with picnic landscape, happy grey color, iceberg and earth like kitchen, as well as so good jacuzzi. it must be in many modern design magazine. The surrounding is also beautiful especially the river. The lobster restaurant owner recommended is also delicious. Because of this house and lovely owner, we love Iceland soooo much!

Very nice and cozy family cottage near lake Thingvallir. Small kitchen, but great outdoor gas bbq. Friendly and communicative host. We definitely would stay here again on a next visit.

Super welcoming host! Arrived quite agitated but very well helped by the 2 gentlemen who welcomed us! Magical accommodation, splendid view and very very very well equipped. The only downside is the path to get to the accommodation. Be mindful of your vehicle. Other than that, everything was perfect! Many thanks to Alina! Go there without so much as a second thought!

WOW! That is the best description of Geirthruder's place. Maybe even more perfect than the photos. A perfect location to easily check out the Golden Circle The layout of her house is great with the living area dividing the two bedroom areas. Easy entrance, over-the-top kitchen, cozy woodburning fireplace, presitine in every way.... and THE VIEW!!! And the quiet!!! We cooked a good bit, just for fun. There is an amazing food market just a few minutes away (which was a highlight of our stay), Little Farmers Market. Staying at Geirthrudur's is a must!!!

Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free. Jon was also very responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Perfect for our group of six, with two toilets and very good heaters. Host is very helpful and responsive too. Had a very good stay!

Lovely place in amazing surroundings. Really special place to relax, and incredible views. One of the favourite airbnb stays. They have made this house a lovely space off the main track. If you come in the winter do bring a 4x4 as it’s at the top of an incline.

Amazing. Magical. Beautiful. This cabin was the home base for the best trip we have ever taken. We went inside a volcano, saw whales, glaciers and waterfalls, hiked the Westman Islands and bathed in natural hot pools. But our favorite memory is sitting in the hot tub at the cabin, watching the Northern Lights. Jon is an incredible host and very responsive. Thank you for helping our family create memories!

What a special spot! Gísli was a responsive host and the accommodation was simple but perfectly situated to take in the beautiful surroundings. It was comfortable and complete with everything we needed.

We had a wonderful peaceful stay at Siggy’s which was completed kitted out including hot tub. It’s a great spot to sightsee many of the things in the Golden Circle and the south of the island. The cottage is cosy and warm even when weather outside was -6C. There are many great hiking trails and nature in abundance. Would highly recommend

Stayed as a group of 4 adults for 3 nights in January. Wonderful space. Very comfortable, warm and well appointed with clear instructions. The Hot tub was lovely and loads of space for 4 adults. Great location to explore- we used as a base to explore the Golden Circle, Skogafoss and Hvergerdi- all easy drive. And having the secret lagoon nearby was lovely for an evening unwind as well. Highly recommend

Had an absolutely amazing stay, the place is very homely, comfortable and in a lovely quiet location very close to the Geysirs and Gullfoss waterfall. It was a perfect base that felt like home. Elin was an amazing host, always quick to answer any questions and nothing was to much trouble. We would highly recommend a stay here it was wonderful.

We had a really nice time as a small family (son, two years old) in Marteinn's house and stayed 5 nights. The house was easy to find thanks to his precise instructions and we were greeted personally (everything explained in detail, like the hotpool etc.). We immediately felt very comfortable and in love with die view and quietness. The house is incredibly beautiful and the location and the view are among the most beautiful we have seen in the world. The conservatory is a dream and the view from the hot pool (which we used every day with fresh geothermal water) was unreal. Our son enjoyed every second in the house. Everything was there, even toys and enough space to play. It was our third trip to Iceland and the location was perfect for exploring the south of Iceland. At the same time, we always had a wonderful retreat that felt like home.

Proactive, friendly and helpful hosts who answered all of our questions and gave us a heads up about events to attend on the site. The cabin and location is breathtaking, myself and my friends spent new years in the cabin's hotub watching the aurora while fireworks went off around us (what more can you say!). The nearby hotel may also put on public events for you to see (in our case it was a bonfire). Highly recommend if you're looking for a beautiful quiet place to relax with friends/ family. Well priced as well!

This place was perfect. The location was exactly what we were looking for. We were able to go as far as Vatnajökull and back in a single day and be home by 10pm. We were also treated well on Thursday night and were able to see the northern lights PERFECTLY from the comfort of the hot tub. The inside is exactly how it appears in the photos. Everything we needed was provided, all we had to do was supply the home with food. This made for an incredible and relaxing honeymoon. Could not recommend this property highly enough if I tried!
