Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Blount County

This is a great place at the pricepoint. We gave it 4 &5 star reviews based on that. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations at 3 star prices then isn’t for you. The cottage is located 10 - 15 min from downtown cullman but is a great location if you plan to visit the other sites outside of the city. The Host was very accommodating and took our reservation with only 24 hours notice. The secluded location is quite nice but it is located about 50 yards from a busy state road. There is a nice path that leads down to a small stream that was great for walking the dog. All in all this was a great experience for us and we certainly recommend others to try it out, just make sure your expectations are realistic. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

My husband and I were at the cabin for a weekend getaway. It was a perfect place for us to unplug. The cell service for our CSpire phones was good, so necessary communication to the outside world was available Not having WiFi was a bonus for us and allowed us to talk more and reconnect which is what we needed. We braved the steep trail to the river (I brought one trekking pole just in case) and it was worth it, but whew I’m out of shape! 😂 It was so peaceful down there! Next time we will take camp chairs and picnic by the river. We visited Rickwood Caverns, all 3 covered bridges, and Top Hat Barbecue. We enjoyed our BBQ sandwiches at Top Hat so much that we each ordered one to go to have something to eat the next day which we had planned to stay in because of the weather. We plan to come back!

Jeff and Cherisa have a charming cottage right by a creek in the middle of gorgeous Cullman, Alabama. It has all high tech amenities like wi-fi, adjustable couch and bed, lighting and Bluetooth in the bathroom. There is a fire pit out on the porch with a view of the pretty creek. They have a fully stocked kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker and a heater that looks like a real fireplace. A cozy loft is upstairs that will sleep 2. The cottage is charmingly decorated with a turquoise theme. They took us in at the last minute because we had a change in plans, and we are so grateful for that! We had a lovely weekend getaway.

Stephanie was an absolutely fantastic host. Very responsive, polite, and excellent and responsive communication. I was dealing with some health issues throughout my stay, and Stephanie was very understanding and helpful. The house made me feel right at home and was cozy and had everything me and my family needed. 5 stars all the way across the board!

Kaley was helpful and quick to respond to questions about the area. Great host!

Our stay at Stargazer was amazing. It is one of the best airbnbs at which we have ever stayed. It was definitely the most well-stocked airbnb. Tom had so much available for people who check in late and don't have time to pick up groceries the first night. Stargazer is a really well-thought-out minihome: "a place for everything and everything in its place". The manual has great details on everything. The house is also extremely well-labeled. Stargazer lives up to its name with wonderful views. The grandkids visited and really enjoyed the Ninja course and all of the puzzles that Tom has in the minihome.

From check-in to departure, a great experience! Very convenient location, and the house is adorable! We arrived to lights on and the fireplace lit, making everything inviting and cozy. The super soft throw blankets in the living room were perfect for snuggling while watching a late night movie. Will book again!

Jason’s Cabin was exactly what he described it to be. Peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. A great escape from everyday life without getting too far off the beaten path. I would 10/10 recommend Jason and his place.

Great stay at Jays place! The views and hot tub were amazing. Comfy beds. We would totally stay here again.
