Nice place, nice and good host

We had a great long stay at Ann-Charlott's boathouse. Fantastic location - nice starting point for activities, short distance to hiking, mountains, beach and Bodø city center. Ann-Charlott was a pleasant host who we felt welcome with.

What the photos can't show is what a great sense of homeliness this lodge has. We had a wonderful long weekend just enjoying the location and the view. Extra touches from the owner were appreciated, like a welcome bottle of wine and a couple of bags of wood for the fires. We didn't want for anything.

Very nice and nice cottage with room for many. The host Daniel was very good. We were on many tours nearby.

The views here are second to none, right on the water with beautiful scenes of mountains as far as the eye can see. I really enjoyed this place and I would definetly book it again if I had to do it all over again. Really felt at home.

Me and my husband, with my grandparents stayed here Friday-Sunday. It was a nice surprise waiting for us when the cabin arrived, good beds and clean in the cabin. A peaceful area that was nice to walk in, not long bit to Bodø or Saltstraumen. Really recommended, warm and pleasant host! If we are going to Bodø in the future, we will take the journey here!

Excellent place and host

Lovely little boathouse outside of Bodø. We stayed there for roughly a month (March) and had a wonderful time – I often went to Bodø, but found myself to be happy every time I came back to this peaceful little spot. Very close to beautiful Norwegian nature. We stayed in the month of March where the weather still changed often, but still had lots to do in the area. Can only imagine it will be even nicer in the summer months (but also quite a lot busier). All in all, we really enjoyed our stay – and also found Vilhelm and Katja very helpful and informative, if we needed any help. Would love to stay again.

Very friendly and open-minded host. Very quick response time and also with good ideas where to go. The house itself is exceptional! Beautifully located overlooking the waters, brilliant fishing experiences and also well equipped kitchen. We immediately felt at home. Thank you very much Øystein for everything!

Best place to see the maelstrom and beautiful night sky. A bit difficult to reach from the bus stop when road is icy and slippery. Comfy and warm even in winter.
