Wie der direkte Blick auf die Marienburg erschließen lässt, ist sie hervorragend für einen Ausflug dorthin geeignet. Aber auch der Bahnhof Norstemmen liegt fußläufig nur ca. 10 Minuten (700m) entfernt. Es bestehen direkte Verbindungen nach Hildesheim, Hannover und auch zum Messegelände in Hannover-Laatzen.

Outside in the garden with terrace is a playground, fire pit, charcoal grill, beach chair, ping pong table, 2 kayaks (for a fee) entrance point about 700m walk.
