House holiday rentals in Bolinas Bay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Thornsbrry house in Sonoma last weekend! The location was perfect – peaceful yet close enough to explore the area. The house itself was beautifully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean. As three women staying together, we all felt very safe and comfortable throughout our time there. Erik was incredibly responsive and their guide book provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants, which we really appreciated. The hot tub was a fantastic way to relax after a day of exploring, and the front porch and fire pit were perfect for enjoying the evenings. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

We could not have had a better experience! Pat is a wonderful, kind and gracious host who was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed before, during and after our stay. In particular, we greatly appreciated her detailed instructions regarding the property. There were multiple times during our stay where we had a question and were able to easily find a detailed, through answer that covered exactly what we needed. The property itself is breathtaking and incredibly special. It is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, unique and well-appointed property I have ever experienced. From cozy mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the views, to swimming in the pool, to having a meal cooked by a private chef in the well-stocked and high-quality kitchen, to admiring the incredible natural light streaming in through the windows, to relaxing in the cozy beds, we could not have had a more magical stay. I already cannot wait to come back again.

This was ideal home for we five friends looking to enjoy wine tasting, great restaurants, shopping, cooking in-house, spacious rooms. Large attractive table for meals; cozy kitchen nook with afternoon sun; living room ideal for relaxing and playing charades. For the reasonable extra fee, we enjoyed the warm pool in cold winter. Beds were comfy-so important. Nice to have the 2 bathrooms. Located just under 2 miles from Sonoma Plaza and close to local wineries. Nearby- outstanding Sonoma Market for fresh everything. Quick communication from host.

This was hands down my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever rented! The home had such an easy, comfortable flow that made me feel instantly at ease. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home. The beds were absolutely perfect—so comfortable! The entire house was immaculately clean, beautifully organized, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. One of my favorite moments was waking up early before everyone else to meditate on the peaceful grounds. The tranquility and beauty of the setting made it such a special experience. I can’t recommend this home enough—it’s truly a gem, and I’d love to stay again!

Sean was extremely kind and accommodating. There is so much space for what you're paying. There are many restaurants walking distance and a beautiful park! The Airbnb portion is very private and we felt very sage. Having a space in the garage was a huge deal for us too! Highly recommend.

love this cute studio we stayed for five days/four nights in SF. it's located in a quiet Richmond district neighborhood, and there are many restaurants around by walking distance. Beds and comforters are super comfy, and host provides plenty of towels. the only problem is toilet tends to clog up, but one can uses the plumbing stick to unclog it. Will definitely stay @ this studio next time when we visit SF.

The place is the upper floor of a freestanding house with a garage and lower unit below and half level walk up to units own private entrance. The neighborhood is on a quiet residential cul-du-sac although the garbage trucks are noisy in the mornings, especially from one of the streets facing bedrooms. The unit itself has a spacious living dining area, separate kitchen and in unit laundry. The three bedrooms are half-level walk up from the main living space. there’s a small outdoor yard as well. The location was close to airport, about 20-25 mins by car to most downtown SF sights. Overall totally suited our needs for a 4 night stay.

This home is a fantastic find in the city. The location is great and having a garage made parking a non-issue. The home is beautifully decorated. The back yard and raised deck were our favorite areas to have coffee in the morning. Highly recommend.

Heidi is an outstanding host! She is very responsive and proactive in her communications from time I requested to book to day of check out. Lovely home, very clean and great space to relax, play games or just hang out….indoors and out! Great deck and backyard with comfortable outdoor furniture to read, relax or to dine. Kitchen had all the basic for us to make all of our meals. And location to the beach as well as to the little town of Stinson was super convenient. Stinson beach is simply a very special place for my family and I and we are very grateful for Airbnb hosts like Heidi for sharing their homes with us. We look forward to returning!

We chose this house because of the 4 bedrooms with king sized beds and it worked out so well for us. We visited at 6 or 7 wineries/tasting rooms all within a 15 minute drive and they were all fantastic. The house itself was very clean and comfortable and was a great space for a group of 8 to return to each evening of our stay in wine country. And of course, we ate oranges out of the tree in the backyard each morning.

Pia's house is a real gem. It's clean, quiet, well-appointed, and well-located in a peaceful, rural area that's also a very short drive to the main parts of Sonoma. Pia did a great job of communicating with us -- from setting expectations and answering questions prior to our stay to quickly responding to communications while we were there. Highlights of the house included really comfortable beds with pristine linens (a treat in a rented property!). It was rainy and while we were there, so the backyard wasn't super accessible, but it seemed like it would be nice if you're there when the weather is better. Neighboring houses are close, but we didn't hear any noise at all from them.

The Retro Retreat was so perfect for our extended weekend stay exploring Sonoma and Napa. It was clean, comfortable, and the natural lighting from the windows made the space really open up and was enjoyable to relax in each morning. There were plenty of amenities available for whatever was needed, and the hosts even left a welcome bottle for us to enjoy. This trip had meant a lot to me, and I’m grateful that Josette and Dave provide their airbnb at such affordable rates so that families and friends of all walks of life can participate in the beauty that the Sonoma and Napa area have to offer.

A most beautiful apartment. Two great bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. In a very nice and walkable neighborhood with a large market about two blocks away. Shao is a most remarkable host. Super, super responsive and so very nice We can't say enough nice things about Shao. We will absolutely stay there again on our return to San Francisco.
