Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bonny Doon

Susan was awesome with responding to any question we had! The place was perfect for our family to gather and stay together for my son’s wedding, which was just a few miles away. We highly recommend the home for a group!!! Thank you, Susan!!!!

Very nice, comfortable home. The home came with everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen. The house was so close to everything and yet the neighborhood was indeed very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay!

I always choose to stay at Emrehans when I need a place near San Jose. Very beautiful, clean home/yard, great location. Emrehan communicates well and has been very accommodating to me. Very good price for the stay. Would recommend.

Kit was awesome. She allowed us to check-in early and check out an hour later as well. The street is safe and great location. The home was perfect for our short stay with my family of 4. Would definitely recommend her home to others.

First off the photos don’t do this house justice. The spaces, including that wonderful balcony, are bigger than you think. We had 7 adults, a toddler & an infant and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The beds, linens and pillows were so comfy, the multitude of windows to let the ocean air breeze come through, along with fans in the bedrooms, were perfect. The kitchen was the most well equipped I’ve used in an Airbnb before. The wagon, chairs and beach towels were also so nice to have for the short one block walk to Black Beach (one of my favorites in Santa Cruz). Oh and do not let the 1 full bathroom for everyone scare you off. Having the 2 half baths made it all work and we never had an issue. My family LOVED this place and wants to come back so very much. We have spent 26 years coming to Santa Cruz almost annually and this was our best residential experience yet. Thank you to Kim and her Rental Mgr, Nancy, for taking care of us and communicating so well. This family highly recommends!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was peaceful and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with beautiful views. One of the biggest highlights was how welcoming they were to our pups. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication was excellent; they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

small but functional kitchen. Oven was older and some of the heat helped warm the area, but the stove top worked great. Nice refrigerator. The fireplace was gas and wonderful, although took a bit to figure out how to get it to work. Beds were comfy, LOVED the location, the two bathrooms, enclosed backyard and easy walk to a beautiful, quiet and empty beach. Close to Santa Cruz and Capitola and all they have there.

Such a great stay. Comfy bed, amazing views… not much more I could ask for. Easy! And the weird thing I’ll mention.. a lot of people use cleaning supplies that initially bother my senses.. it was super clean and just fresh feeling. Perfect stay.

This was our second time staying at Tara and Reid's listing while travelling for work. Which speaks volumes of how great their listing and location is, on Potrero Hill! The photos are exactly what it looks like; I'm almost reluctant to shout this out for fear that it'll be booked our next time we visit SF again.

Definitely going to be back! Such a beautiful place with amazing hosts and amazing service. Very communicative, friendly, provided so much useful information. Terri was an amazing host. Originally, we had planned a 4 night stay, but we had to change our plans to 1 night. We explained her the situation and she was very supportive with the change of our plans. Despite of my last moment changes, she was very supportive. Kudos to her for that. Also her place was amazing. The art and decor were great. 😄

We had such a great stay here. The place was very clean and had directions for everything, which was helpfull. House was conveniently situated in the middle of all the activities we had on our agenda. Also, the binder in the home had some great suggestions on things to do in the Santa Cruz area, and we will definetely be doing some of those activities next time we come back!

Fantastic place. Fantastic location. Fantastic host. Myles’ place had everything a family of 6 needed to relax after a long day of walking around the sights of SF. Just a couple of blocks away from the Castro commercial area and easy access to the MUNI F line (1940’s looking trolley line) that will take you along Market street to downtown and to Fisherman’s Wharf. With transfers - you can basically get anywhere in the city once you’ve found that coveted non-2 hour parking spot for your car. I just left my car in the spot and didn’t get it again until it was time to go home. Would recommend this place to others and would definitely stay here again when we return to SF in the future. Spacious, safe, tidy apartment with European-like personality in a neighborhood with a variety of good restaurants. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Cecilia was always kind and responsive, promptly assisting whenever we had any questions or needed help. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, including the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedding. We booked this place specifically for attending GTC 2025 at the San Jose Conference Center. Its proximity made it convenient for us to easily walk to the conference center. Highly recommended for groups attending conferences or events nearby. everything was super nice, only thing was the charger didnt work which was very bummed out, but overall house is super spacious and nice, plenty of room for family and friends! mason was helpful & communicative!

A minor issue with our original reservation was quickly resolved by the PowerWest Team. They responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had a perfect trip. The unit is a beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular ocean front views. We will definitely visit again and stay with PowerWest.

I stayed for 3 months and couldn’t have been happier with my choice to stay here. Close to downtown, amazing food all around. The gate in front and the fact it was at the very end of a cul de sac made the place feel extra private. Would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful views! Our family enjoyed our stay and the main floor layout was perfect for our extended family's get together. The pool table, foosball table and games were loved by adults and kids alike. A few family members did get car sick on the way to the house though (not the fault of the house or host by any means), so just be aware that it is a windy road to get up there.

Beautiful home with a great view! Very clean and homey. Matthew is also a great host with clear communication and very helpful instructions pre-check-in. We felt right at home when we arrived. The horses are also very friendly and my son loves petting them. All in all would definitely recommend!

Great cozy house!

I had a fantastic stay at this stunning antique home in San Jose. The house itself is full of character, with beautifully preserved details and inviting, well-maintained shared spaces. It was a peaceful and quiet place to unwind after busy days at the nearby Convention Center, which is just a 20 mins walk away. There are also several great restaurants in the area, making it super convenient for dining out. The atmosphere of the home made my trip even more enjoyable—warm, charming, and relaxing. I’d definitely stay here again!

This Hacienda was located on top of the Santa Cruz Mountains and was so majestic, peaceful and breathtaking. The house is welcoming and beautifully decorated. The view was incredible, watching the clouds and marine layer blanket over the trees. Each bedroom had comfy beds. Kitchen stock well with everything you need. Bathrooms clean. Heated floors were a nice touch. Sitting outside on various patio levels was magical. Felt like I was at retreat. Lisa was quick to respond. Our family loved staying here and getting away from city noise and hustle bustle. Thank you Lisa and Chris for sharing your home. This place is a real gem.
