Recently built -welcoming village escape

Hillside is a newly built limestone self contained holiday let, on the edge of a pretty Derbyshire village. Hillside overlooks the village of Bonsall (near Matlock) offering beautiful views from the windows and private patio of the village and surrounding countryside. Bonsall offers 2 excellent pubs, cafe and village shop. There are numerous walks from the doorstep - the Limestone Way passes through the village. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Dove Dale and the Monsal Trails are all a short drive away.

Swiss Cottage, a heritage cottage, stunning views

Overlooking the beautiful tree-lined Derwent valley, the South facing Swiss Cottage is uniquely situated to offer panoramic views of the entire gorge and the picture perfect village of Matlock Bath, complete with an array of pretty lights, below. Spinney Farm cottage is set in an idyllic rural location on a quiet country lane overlooking the village of Bonsall. Footpaths on your doorstep lead you into the beautiful countryside. Spinney Farm is the home to a herd of alpacas which you are welcome to visit and you may also see the dairy cows from Puddle Hill farm in the nearby fields. Spinney Farm cottage is set in a dry stone wall enclosure therefore a safe and secure place for children to play and for you to sit and relax.

The cottage which dates from 1845, is situated in Bonsall village, high above the wooded 'Via Gellia' gorge. Matlock Bath is 2 miles by car or a scenic walk through woodland. Superb walks from the door to the limestone moors above. Within easy driving distance of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Arkrights Mills. Crich Tramway Museum and Carsington Water. Bonsall has two pubs a Tea Room and small shop and deli a few minutes walk from the property. BONSALL OPEN GARDENS IS ON 1st JUNE 2024
