Holiday rentals with lake access in Boone County

Anita is very responsive and friendly! Place is exactly as listed online. Bed is comfortable and room was toasty in the cold. I needed somewhere to stay the night on a road trip and would stay again!

We've stayed here before and were glad it was available for this work trip. I had a group of 7, and we had plenty of space. The kitchen and pantry are well-stocked with a ton of cookware, appliances and gadgets. Work ran late this time so it was great to just go home and cook dinner. The house is exactly as described and pictured. We all like places like this which have comfortable beds, furniture and plenty of nice decor. It does make you feel at home. I hope someday we have a trip in the summer so we can enjoy the pool and grounds. Susan left us some wine, snacks and goodies, which we really appreciated. She had everything ready and made it a smooth trip.

A great stay in Columbia Mo. it was super easy to find and get into. Once you enter it’s very clean and cozy, very welcoming. They have a small booklet introducing them and giving great recommendations for the area. The pond out back and the gorgeous view from the deck are wonderful to have in your backyard. Definitely a 10/10. Will be booking here next time I’m in Columbia.

So I was here 4 weeks for a rotation, and I've been at a number of other AirBnBs for my rotations, and this was by far the best. What truly stands out is the absolute comfort and hospitality granted by Gary and Randy. They really supported me after my long nights at the hospital and were always super gracious and helpful. I also really enjoyed talking with them over breakfast, lunch, or a snack or something. And I'm an introvert! I felt welcomed with open arms (even quite literally.) I feel like I gained two extra grandparents this last month, and I am so grateful for that. Darby is the sweetest host dog and made being away from my dogs so much easier. 6/5 stars!

Very welcoming and appealing space. Upon entering my friends and I were struck by the cleanliness and the attractive environment. Little extra touches from the host added to the experience. The house was as described, the beds were comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Extra blankets and plenty of towels. We were in town for Mizzou homecoming weekend and found the location to be convenient for driving or Ubering to campus and downtown Columbia. Would stay there again.

This place was exactly as expected. I'm used to backpacking but the bed and heat was welcomed in December. The bedroom area was super clean. Plenty of blankets. The screened in kitchen was lovely, but did require diligence about the resident mouse population (expected these nighttime critters). The kitchen eqipment was more than enough. In winter there is no water to cabin. The list of suggested packing items reminded me to bring water and flashlight for the trip to outdoor facilities. My dog had a blast but we had to be mindful of deer hunters.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! This was our second visit, and it certainly won't be our last. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful views create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The cabin itself is cozy and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. We can't wait to come back again for another unforgettable experience! Highly recommend!

We had a great night here. It was nice to meet Bill. We are already planning when we can go visit again!

A private and peaceful getaway! It was a beautiful opportunity to have some time to just slow down, look at the stars, read a book and go on walks in the nature trails. I will definitely be back!
