Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Boone

Dan was a great host. The house is very well taken care off and spotless. A/C worked great. We needed to stay a little longer than planned and Dan took care of it with no problem. Would highly recommend.

We loved the tiny villa! The hosts were very kind & responsive. I am an Airbnb cleaner/manager at home and I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail in all areas of this home. I am very picky and I had nothing negative to say. The bed was firm and very comfortable. Heat & AC work great. The only problem we had, was the shower ceiling is at a downward slope, so showering for my 6’4” partner was extremely difficult. I’m 5’5” and the shower head was only a few inches above me. The house was far away from the chaos but close enough to it at the same time. We will be back!

This house is perfect for travelers. It has everything you need and all the stuff you forgot to pack for your trip. The house is spotless, plenty of good quality linens, bed rooms are of ample size, the WiFi was fast. We didn’t use the game room but it did look fun! The location is handy and centrally located near shopping and downtown. Highly recommend!

Last-minute trip due to FIL being at JCMC. Super easy reservation and check-in process. Really good value and very clean house. Will definitely stay at Jessica’s place again,

Beautiful House, amazing views!!! 2 minutes for Beech Mountain Resorts!!! just what we were looking for. Very responsive and kind hosts. We are definitely booking again this house for the next skiing season.

Super responsive and friendly hosts! Goats and chickens, and the rooster sounding the alarm when the sun hit the horizon! I overlooked this in the booking but there is no door to the bedroom. Not a huge problem for us, just mentioning for others. The floors are a little creaky which was only problematic when my kids got up to use the bathroom and I’m a light sleeper. Husbands was not affected by this. The smoke alarm went off while using the oven. Not a huge issue but it was startling. Oven worked fine! The paper towels and hand soap were a plus!! Most places don’t include. Extra pillow cases can be found in the ottoman. Plenty of towels and that black and silver blanket was SUPER warm. I didn’t want to get out from under it!! All in all, this was an excellent location. We were in town for a dance competition and had an early call time. Will book again if ever in Taylorsville again!!!

Britt’s home was absolutely stunning. Very large and super clean, it’s exactly what my family needed. With spacious bedroom, ample amounts of extra towel and blankets, this air bnb is worth every penny.

This a great location to stay for our visit to Morganton. Very clean and worth the money that we paid for the two days. Mike was very responsive to our needs.

I enjoyed the stay and only have a couple of things. Mostly it was exactly what I needed but a few things to share with future guests. I was up for a work trip and really needed good rest, the apartment is over a garage and is super noisy when opened in the morning. Woke us both up both mornings. There was a bit of noise also in garage that I’m sure unintentional but a bit noisy. Also some blackout curtains on sliding doors would have made a huge difference in ambient light coming in to unit Overall a good experience but as a frequent Airbnb user wanted to share

Ms Cheryl is as friendly as they come she made us feel like we were home she greeted us when we got there and showed us around everything was was perfect Boonies restaurant is right next door at Davis marina and that’s all you need we will definitely plan another trip for stripers again thank you and take care

This was perfect for quick weekend trip as a single female. The apartment itself is much bigger than the pictures make it appear. It's spacious, well-kept, and beautifully decorated. The furniture is a little dated, but it's very comfortable and enjoyable. Super soft bed, many places have really uncomfortable mattresses, that's not the case here. I did not want to get out of bed. Super walkable to everything I wanted/needed to do and I felt safe even venturing out at night. My only recommendation would be to update the outdoor furniture on the balcony.

Great place to stay while visiting town. Very clean, instructions are very clear and understandable, place is close to King Street, and host is so nice and communicative. Definitely recommend for anybody needing quick and quiet place to stay.

I would highly recommend Jamie's home to anyone visiting the Hickory-Granite Falls-Hudson area. Jamie's home was very beautiful,warm, and inviting. Her home is set in a very quiet woodsy neighborhood. I would give Jamie's home a 10+! I have family in the Hickory area so know i will have a great place to stay anytime we come for a visit.

Beautiful place and so convenient to downtown. Kelly goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need to have a great time.

Place was great, fit what we were looking for for a family of 5 (including an infant). Open space to play and cook/entertain.

Was perfect place for son and I. Did pool and Hottub Friday night and walked to slopes for skiing on Saturday. Ideal for anyone wanting to experience Sugar plus some amenities. Hope to do again and will definitely stay here again.

We had the best time at Nicole’s place. The condo is very spacious, extremely clean, peaceful, and has beautiful views. We loved hanging out on the porch and winding down inside by the fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. We took advantage of the playground and indoor pool located on the resort. The location is super close to Main Street and right by the blue ridge parkway for many hikes. Nicole is super responsive for any questions. We will be back!

Place was great for a weekend getaway with kids, they loved the sledding hill which was right outside the condo few mins walking distance. Cozy and quaint!

Liz and Chris have a wonderful condo, the walk to the slopes is very short, and they have a private locker available on the slopes to store ski gear, which makes the walk even easier.

Though it’s close to the main road, you need four-wheel drive in winter to get to this condo. We got stuck and could not reach the condo- ended up driving to the next town for snow chains as that was the only way to get there. It’s a nice place and very close to Beech Mountain but important to be aware of accessibility in winter.

Great stay for skiing and hiking. It is walkable to Sugar, but be prepared for a bit of a hill and some steps. Totally worth it to not have to park in the lot. Home was very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was very clean. Lots of little extras like spices, coffee, waters, soaps, etc. Everything was great for our short stay with our pups. Owner was very responsive after we messed up on our reservation. Fantastic communication. We would absolutely stay again if we are in the area.

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.
