The most incredible house we've ever been to, all the luxury of details... nothing was missing, the house is beautiful, the jacuzzi is really crazy, we have completely fallen in love with the house!! We'll be back for sure!

Overall we had a wonderful stay here. The views are gorgeous and we were lucky enough to see northern lights! Only negative was trying to find the cabin was difficult BUT Borj was super responsive and friendly. We only stayed one night but would stay again.

This place was a dream. Having stayed at dozens of AirBnBs in Iceland, this is in our top! It was tranquil and Elisabet and Rosa were communicative and it’s clear they take pride in their home. It was beautiful, and there were amenities that made traveling with an infant smooth and comfortable for us. There were so many thoughtful touches and it was squeaky clean. We saw the aurora two out of three nights which was nothing short of magical. It was the ideal stay in a beautiful place!

The location and views were breathtaking. Sadly the day we arrived we couldn't see the glacier or surrounding mountains due to cloudcover but when we were leaving, we saw just how beautiful the area was. The hot tub was a nice plus and the host was always responsive and super gracious about giving us an early check-in to accommodate our desire to drive earlier before the big snow and windstorm hit. The location was super close to many sites (crater, cliffs, hot springs) and also a great point to visit the Snaefellsnes Peninsula from. In our case, the winds of 40m/s combined with horizontal snow was too treacherous to make the drive in (and we couldn't see any of the sights due to no visibility) so we hung out in the hot tub and took it easy while a the cabin. There were board games that helped for the downtime!

Nice cabin amongst the woods in Husafell. We were fortunate to enjoy the aurora from the deck on both nights! The floor heating made the cabin cosy. Husafell is wonderful place to enjoy nature, including several treks nearby, and Karl's cabin provided a nice home base.

This should be one of my favourite airbnbs on this trip. The hunting lodge is located in a beautifully landscaped location with beautiful surroundings, we even saw the beautiful evening clouds, There is a bath in front of the balcony. Unfortunately, the wind was too strong at that time, the outside temperature was too low, we didn't use it. But it was in the cottage alone and we had got everything we wanted, Bjorg tidied up the house very clean, also prepared espresso with hot cocoa for us, really attentive, The cookware, etc. were all very clean, we had the feeling of home here, and it was a pity that we only stayed for one night, but we are ready to stay again next time!!
