Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bournda

Samantha's house was an amazing summer break for me and the family. The house has a gorgeous view out over the town, is very light, spacious with a beachy feel. It is also extremely comfortable, absolutely spotless and very well equipped. We took advantage of Sam's excellent manual to go on a walk to Long Point lookout and eat at Bar Monti and Superette in town. Can highly recommend all of the above!

What’s not to love about the Akoelady? It’s an absolutely stunning home, perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. The house is both cozy and tastefully decorated. We spent our days lounging at the house, kayaking on the lake, and exploring the nearby beaches. Sally thought of everything — the fridge and pantry were well-stocked and there were plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. I enjoyed 3 peaceful mornings sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee, watching the serene lake — it was pure bliss. At first, we were concerned about not having a TV to keep the kids busy, but we ended up spending so much quality time together, whether playing games, relaxing on the deck, or by the lake. It was an experience we’ll cherish. This is definitely a place we’d love to return to every year! Thank you, Sally, for your patience in answering all my questions and for providing us with such a beautiful and unforgettable weekend. :)

Great place to stay. Walk to a couple of beaches. Also parking if you want drive down, which we did one day as the older dog gets a bit tired in the arvos. Great fenced area out the back for the dogs to explore. Super comfy beds and a great bath for adults to relax in after all the walking. Easy to keep clean with all the tools you could need.

We really enjoyed our stay at David's place. The house is very comfortable and the surroundings so beautiful and peaceful. A highly recommended accommodation in a wonderful location. We will be back.

We had the most lovely weekend in Pamela’s beautiful home. The gardens are incredible and the home is just stunning and very comfortable and clean. We felt at home right away. Pamela was a great host and gave us all of the information we needed for a great weekend away! I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic host with a house in a perfect location.

This was my third or fourth visit to Spotted Gum Retreat. I love it, and am always sad to leave. It’s comfy, cosy and charactered, and Elizabeth is a savvy and responsive host. Mystery Bay is a slice of heaven.

A wonderful quiet getaway. The house is very spacious, well equipped and lovely kitchen, plus extremely comfortable beds. If towing a boat you will need to take it very easy on the dirt road. We loved the kayaks and the beautiful view. We had a lot of rain and windy weather while we were there (which is out of Donna’s hands) it was great to have plenty of space to still relax. Thank you.
