Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bournda

It’s the little things that make a holiday house a home and Serendip had every detail nailed! From the fresh flowers to the teapot to the welcome gifts. Comfy beds and soft furnishings. Best of all the beauty of nature to soak up and enjoy. The Beachhouse is somewhere to make special memories and to return to, to capture the magic of every season. Thank you for our stay, it couldn’t have been better.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful cottage, it felt right at home, and was surrounded by the rolling hills and great scenery. Anthea was very friendly and ensured our stay was comfortable. The location of the cottage was great for us: it is about 30-40 minutes from the Sapphire coast, and we did day trips to all the towns and spots we wanted to visit, while staying in a spot that was more quiet and remote.

The views are stunning! I loved watching the sun rise and eating breakfast on the back deck in the mornings. From the front deck the view of the shimmering inlet through the trees is magic!

What a place! We stayed here for 2 nights with our little children and absolutely loved it. Driving through Australian farmlands to arrive at a gorgeous rustic cottage, it felt like a home away from home. We spent our time looking at the animals, riding our bikes, exploring the waterholes and enjoying the hot tub. It is a great opportunity to slow down, relax and enjoy each others company. The cottage was very well equiped, good cooking facility, comfortable beds, nice hot shower and bath and beautiful fire places. Although there is no airconditioning, the cottage actually remained quite cool considering it was a warm day in March. If you are considering booking this place, book it! You won’t be disappointed.

Shannon & Gary welcomed us to their cosy cottage ( away from the business of the town)with fresh bread & eggs from their chickens. A wonderfully private spot amongst the trees with the “ tink” of bellbirds the only sound. The cottage is very well equipped, the bed very comfy & the deck a lovely spot to relax. We can thoroughly recommend this lovely spot.

Thanks again for this stay! The place itself was as described - clean, modern, comfortable, and only a five minute drive from the Tathra township. It was a great stay and we loved the cabin. The setting was tranquil and with plenty of lovely bushland around. It wasn't immediately obvious from the listing that the cabin is part of the Kianinny Bush Cottages business. I found this a plus - it was great to have the option to do things like minigolf or kayaking. However, some people might not enjoy the school groups coming through, for example.

A great stay that spares no attention to detail. We had a late check in and arrived to a beautifully low lit cottage that felt like coming home. Truely a special place you can enjoy at home or in surrounding areas. Thank you Kylie & Peter
