Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Bowen Hills

We had a lovely evening. Walked home from a fun concert in the Botanic Gardens. Jack was easy to contact and provided heaps of helpful information that meant we did not need to check in during our stay. Beds were comfy, A/C was lovely and the vibe was great! Thanks team - will be back 😊

This is exactly what an Airbnb should be. The apartment was clean, in good condition and had the things you need to be able to live in the space. Check in was smooth with easy to follow instructions. The kitchen was well kitted out with plenty of washing liquid, dish washer tablets, oil , salt and pepper etc. plenty of tea, coffee pods and sugar provided and there was milk in the fridge for us to use. The apartment is located close to Fish Lane and which had nice bars and restaurants and to the cultural centres and south bank walk ways. Our stay was disrupted due to Cyclone Alfred so we had to leave early - which was a shame as Brisbane is a good city to be based in for the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

Great cottage within easy walk to SouthBank and CBD. Well stocked with cooking utensils and condiments. Even t hough on the main road it was very quiet inside. Great pub across the road.

We had 5 adults stay for the night and it was very spacious and comfortable. Our bed in the master was super comfy and loved the pillows.

Leonie went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect .. she even graciously gave us an extended checkout which helped us out enormously. There was absolutely nothing we needed that she didn't provide. Her accommodation is spotless . She generously provided croissants butter jams etc .. 2 differents yogurts blueberries .. eggs .. milk and all the condiments as well as selections of tea and coffee and cooking essentials. The kitchen crockery cutlery glasses etc were all gorgeous. The bathroom was also spotless with beautiful products and Leonie thought of everything from hairdryer to deodorant and toothpaste . to sunscreens .. amazzzing! It's also within walking distance to so many great restaurants .. we especially loved Vietnam House and the stunning dog friendly Victoria park is right there. All in all we wished we could have stayed forever! Thankyou so much Leonie you made our Xmas Extra Special .. we just hope we can rebook on future visits!🪷

It was nicely organised and such a beautiful quite place

We felt right at home. The instructions were clear and we found the apartment very easily. The cathedral complex garden is like an oasis - complete with nesting birds and lizards. It’s amazingly quiet considering how central the location. An easy walk to the Music Hall. Great eateries within walking distance. There is loads of public transport too. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of hot water. Loved the balcony over the garden. Parking bay nice and close to the lift and a decent size. The apartment is not new but it was just perfect for us! Brilliant communication.

Shane's place is just wonderful! The outdoor area and garden is so beautiful and relaxing, peferct for our holiday. It is matched by the lovely he interior, thst is very tasteful and so we'll equipt, with highy quality items, it would be hard to improve on anything. Shane is a marvellous host, he left us such a wonderful welcome pack we really had no need to do any shopping. All the small touches, that make such a big difference, were evident, we really appreciated it all. Fantastic.

Jen's place was so clean and spacious and was so much bigger than expected. The pool was inviting and the back deck area is a great place to hang out. Very impressed with how well equipped the kitchen is. And the two eating areas came in handy as we are a group of crafters so we could leave our projects out and still had a table to sit at for meals. Bedrooms are beautifully decorated and beds are extremely comfortable. Probably the only negative is that the air conditioners do struggle to cool the main living spaces, due to their size and high ceilings. And not all spaces are air conditioned and this is a bit hard in February when it is so hot and humid. Not enough to put us off wanting to stay there again though. Great hostess and great place.

Djamel’s home was really lovely and made for a great place to base ourselves for five nights. The location was perfect. Close to the city, but in a quiet neighbourhood. Responses were quick and Djamel was very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended.

This is our second time at Fiona’s place and definitely not our last time. Feels like home to us! Fiona is very easy going and always tries to meet our needs. Thank you very much Fiona!

From booking to check out James was an amazing host to deal with. He was very responsive to messages and was extremely helpful when asked for advice - nothing was too much trouble. It was wonderful to be able to spend our family Christmas in such a lovely home. It had everything we needed and more. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and the most delightful toiletries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the pool, sauna and ice bath were a hit! We were so close to shops, restaurants, parks and the river - everything within walking distance. Our only problem was we ran out of time to visit everywhere we intended too! I would whole heartedly recommend a stay at James’s place…you will not be disappointed.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house! The place was exactly as described - spacious, clean, and perfectly equipped for our family's needs. But what truly made our stay exceptional was our host's outstanding hospitality and support. Unfortunately, we had a bit of an incident during our stay involving one of our kids, and our host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and caring. Lara went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and that the rest of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We're so grateful for her kindness and flexibility. We would highly recommend this house and host to anyone looking for a wonderful and stress-free stay. Thank you again for everything!

Incredible value, easy to get where I needed either walking or nearby public transport. Great room with AC, super clean personal bathroom, easy access to laundry, fridge, microwave etc. Simon was a great host!

Perfect and private place to stay if you need to be in the area for business or personal reasons. Had everything we needed for our stay and the bed is really comfortable.

Julia’s place was great for our stay. Stunning views of the ocean. Very close to public transport and easy to get into the beach. Julia met us at the gate and was a fab host. Her bedroom is the other side of the apartment so we felt like we had our own space. I would highly recommend.

A single Dad travelling with his 15 year old son and stayed at Johnny's Beachside apartment for eight nights. The space was perfect for us. The room was clean, comfortable and felt fresh and modern despite being in an older building, a testament to the care Johnny has put into creating it. The location was just about perfect - close enough to the action of Surfers Paradise but overlooking the more peaceful end to the North. Beds were clean and comfortable. My Teenage son slept on the Sofa bed and reported that it felt like sleeping in a real bed. The big screen TV is also a handy inclusion for the inevitable Gold Coast night where it is just too rainy to go out. Fortunately we had just one of those. What we will both miss the most though is the pair of Lorikeet friends who joined us each morning for breakfast and sang for us from the Window railing. Thankyou Johnny for a great stay and I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.
