Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bowmanville

This cozy cabin was the perfect retreat! The stunning views of the lake from the living room and the peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay. The cabin itself was charming and well-stocked, providing everything we needed for a comfortable getaway.

Large, clean, and comfortable home with all the homey amenities I needed to make the stay a home away from home. I asked a few questions and they were responsive and communicative. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels.

We drove all the way from North Carolina to Toronto, and after such a long journey, Roham’s place was the perfect retreat. It exceeded all of our expectations and provided everything we needed and more. We were so impressed with the comfort and convenience that we decided to extend our stay by an extra day! Highly recommend!

Everything was great, making our one complaint not even an issue for us by checkout. But the only TV was in the basement living room, which was referred to as a “movie theatre” in the listing; it was an approximately 60” TV with one couch. That part was a bit disappointing for watching movies, playing video games, etc., but everything else was so easy, clean and great that it wasn’t a problem.

This place was beautiful, cozy, and peaceful. Absolutely recommend. Host was fantastic! So much fun for the kids!

We had a great weekend with our group. Cottage is beautiful and well kept. Hosts are accommodating and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that you enjoy your stay. Would bring my family here every year if only they allowed dogs. Will be booking again!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Damian and Jessie are the best hosts I’ve ever met. They were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, helpful, and accommodating. The place was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with everything we needed. I’m usually picky about linens because some Airbnbs don’t wash them properly, but here, everything was freshly cleaned and dust-free. I stayed with two kids, and we felt so cared for. Damian even cleared the snow, not just from the path but also from our car, which was so kind and thoughtful. He kept checking in to make sure we were comfortable, but honestly, everything was perfect! The house stayed warm despite the cold weather, thanks to the electric fireplace and heaters. We had such a great experience and would love to stay here again if we’re ever back in town. Thank you, Damian and Jessie, for making our stay so special!

We loved our stay. The mattresses were comfortable. The living area is spacious. Both TVs had Netflix. The washer and dryer was a great plus for staying long stays. Quiet neighborhood and we slept comfortably each night. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Shirin was incredible and responsive. I had a great stay.

Driving through the Ganaraska forest is magical. Watching the creek from the window listening to the wind in the trees was very peaceful. Tom is a great guy feels like we're visiting Pops and having all the comforts of home available. I love the ice machine from the fridge and the AC units installed for us. We enjoyed roasting our hotdogs and smores. Our furbabies welcomed is very appreciated. There's fresh eggs around the corner. Although the place is upstairs we only had to move in once and get some stair steps in regularly. Very comfortable here and we are blessed to be welcome here.

This place suited my needs completely. I was there for business and it was 4 minutes to my office. It also had everything I needed to prepare meals for myself, including standard pantry items. The hosts were excellent at keeping snow/ice cleared and even brushed to snow off my car for my morning commute. We had great communication, and they were lovely!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Indy's place near Rice Lake, and it was an incredible experience! The location is perfect, with easy access to the lake, making it ideal for kayaking and enjoying the serene waters. The peaceful surroundings provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of our stay was the bonfire. It added a cozy and relaxing vibe to our evenings, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The overall atmosphere of the place was just perfect for a tranquil getaway. Indy was a fantastic host, always responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with great amenities and a wonderful host

This place was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the photographs. It was a close drive for me so it was in the perfect spot! The place was cozy and we felt at home with our stay. Itay was so easy to message and answered any questions we had with ease. I would 100% stay here again, it is perfect place to stay.

Definitely one of the best airbnb I've ever stayed in, especially for the price! I came in during a bad snowstorm and John was very kind to plow the road to the cabin so that I can walk to it easily & even brushed off my car the morning of checkout! Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Cabin is equipped with all the necessities, and it's 100% squeaky clean. Plenty of fire wood & spring water provided. Surrounding forest is breahtaking, with creeks and serene views— especially during snow. I will definitely go back here again on other seasons to enjoy the nature. Thank you so much, John!

Ashley's cottage was beyond our expectations with every well-thought detail making it a warm, rustic, authentic and cozy experience. It was also very beautiful in the snow, with our kids watching the snow fall from the windows next to their beds in the loft. The hosts had thought of everything, including things that we never knew we needed - blankets close to the couch to snuggle up for movie night, popcorn in the pantry, cheese sticks in the refrigerator, etc. While we were only looking for a place close to the ski hills for a few days, we ended up not wanting to leave the cottage much. It was a good thing that Uber Eats delivered to the place, which was very unexpected for us. All in all, this cottage was the most memorable Canadian winter home our family has stayed in. We would certainly hope to stay there again some day, perhaps for the next ski season!

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect spot- beautiful sunsets over the lake. Good swimming and nice dock area. Cottages were lovely inside with everything we needed and beds were so comfortable. Had lots of fun campfires and there is a nice lawn between the cottages for activities and dog to explore. Would definitely like to come back- great time had by all!

My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. The set up is amazing and so adorable. The cabin is so cozy with the fireplace. We spent the evening cuddled up with the fireplace watching movies and it was great! Perfect relaxing way to end the day
