House holiday rentals in Bracken Ridge

This place is lovely. Aircon in all the bedrooms would be better, this is Queensland after all. Not great for elderly though as there's lots of stairs. Kitchen was missing a few items, and the items that were there were just all over the place in all different cupboards and drawers. Lovely bottle of champagne and strawberries, but no gladwrap or tupperware. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice house in a quiet leafy suburb. Close to shops and the river. Small but refreshing swimming pool. Everything we needed was there.

Jen's place was so clean and spacious and was so much bigger than expected. The pool was inviting and the back deck area is a great place to hang out. Very impressed with how well equipped the kitchen is. And the two eating areas came in handy as we are a group of crafters so we could leave our projects out and still had a table to sit at for meals. Bedrooms are beautifully decorated and beds are extremely comfortable. Probably the only negative is that the air conditioners do struggle to cool the main living spaces, due to their size and high ceilings. And not all spaces are air conditioned and this is a bit hard in February when it is so hot and humid. Not enough to put us off wanting to stay there again though. Great hostess and great place.

Andre greeted us as we checked in and was very friendly. Chatted for a while making us accustomed to the house and also gave great recommendations on cafes and restaurants. The house was perfect for our family of 4 young kids with a PS3: 1 large private master bedroom with separate his/her wardrobe and a large bathroom; 3 bedrooms for the kids; even an extra "guest room" downstairs. The dining area and kitchen was great as was the outdoor area with pool which we used a few times. Close to a shopping area that had Woolworths, Harvey Norman, Rebel Sport etc and also some great running/biking treks. Overall a great house.

Great location close to all amenities, description of home very accurate, outdoor area around pool had the loveliest plush lawn, perfect for our grandson to run around on, very private in back yard. Had extra granny flat attached to the home, although we did not utilise it, would be helpful for a larger family or grandparents, nice host to deal with. Overall had a nice relaxing break.

I stayed two nights at the cottage and enjoyed the peaceful location. Jason was a great host - very responsive and easy to communicate with. The cottage is cosy and well-suited for a short stay. The kitchen is compact with a small sink, but everything was functional and worked well for my needs.

Andy was very helpful and accommodating. We had a home emergency and were grateful the property was available. Communication was easy & we never had to wait long for a response. The pool was the highlight of the stay. The kookaburras in the morning was also a great surprise for the kids.

Every visit to Lil's is a delight. Superb hospitality in a clean, quiet apartment in glorious gardens. Lil and Steven go above and beyond to make sure it is comfortable providing freshly baked bread, home made jams and beautiful honey. If there was a rating higher than 5 stars I would give it to Lil.

Such a great spot and place to stay. Everything you need to wind down and close to everything. The place was immaculate and beds are super comfortable.

One word: WOW! I booked this place for my parents, but went out with them while they checked in. Brendon met us with bubbles to celebrate my Mum's birthday. He was so lovely, communicative, and welcoming. We were shown around the house and the property to make sure Mum and Dad were comfortable before I left them there for their relaxing weekend. The house is so lovely. Everything was thought of. Brendon put out a beautiful spread for them to enjoy, including a birthday cake, and there were plenty of provisions for them for breakfast and beyond. They relaxed in the pool, and the ac, and enjoyed the views. They saw wallabies on their walks too. Brendon made himself available to them should they need anything or have any questions. My only wish is that I could have stayed with them! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Brendon!

We had a great stay! We stayed for 6 weeks while we sold our house and bought another. Tracey kindly let our pets stay after a few reasonable questions and responded very quickly to any queries/comments we had. For example, we mentioned that a few of the clothesline ropes had broken and the whole rope was fixed in days. This location and home was perfect for our needs as a short term home where the whole family (2A, 2C and 2 pets) could feel at home during what was quite a stressful period. It was as also very convenient for travel to schools and the city during peak hours. The desk got an absolute workout with gamers and people working from home and internet was never an issue. If you have a dog, there are a couple of nice dog parks close by to wander too, to get the energy out. We stayed in summer and the Aircon was much appreciated by the British members of the family. It is on the cosy side but a cute place and great access. Thanks for a great stay Tracey!

Had a great stay, will definitely book again!

This was our second stay at James and Mette's place, and we had a great time yet again! Perfect for a family with a little dog. The local area is quiet but the house is still within walking distance of the bayside waterfront and the local shops (Woolies etc). This time around we had a lot less rain than our first visit, and we enjoyed a BBQ dinner under the festoon lights on the back patio. The cottage has had a lot of love poured into it, and it's perfect for a low-key but very comfortable beachy holiday :)

We needed a place that close for a group of us to head back to after a concert. I chose it because of it's size, and it was exactly what we needed to hold 5 adults. Would use this place again for the same reason if I needed to.

We had a business exhibition in nearby Banyo, and need a place for thew team to stay during the event. The house was extremyl spaciouis and roomy, and allowed for reasonable privacy for our team members. Great large space house for people in need of a lot of it.

Our family had a wonderful visit at Katja's beautiful place. The house was spotless, beautifully presented and equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Katja was a lovely host and provided lots of great information about local attractions and activities to make the most of our stay. We would love to visit again some day!

Alli’s place is sparkling clean with new furniture and linen. It’s a pleasant walk to the beach at Bellara and there is a good range of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets not far away. We had a very enjoyable stay. Thanks Alli!

Kate was a fantastic host! We booked her home for a few employees who were working nearby. Due to changes happening on site, we had to make amendments to our booking. Kate was so understanding and helped us massively with changing the dates around for us. She couldn't have been more accommodating!! The employees were happy and had no complaints during their stay. Jacks place was the perfect setting for our creative family. The eclectic choices in decor and art made us feel right at home. With a wonderful outdoor entertainment area, it truly felt like a villa pool. Easy to walk to quaint cafes and shops or head into the city by train. Great spot, well presented and suited for our needs

Emma is an amazing host! From helping my parents in on a rainy day, when I couldn’t get there on time, to the sweet note & snacks. She is quick to respond to any questions or address any concerns. House is beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed. Perfect location, close to shops/motor way, but can’t hear any of the outside noise. Felt peaceful. Can’t recommend this place enough, hope to stay here again in the future!
