Experience the real France. Large sixteenth century house, small sunny and secluded garden, barn. Modern bathrooms and a very high comfort rating with guests e.g. "Best equipped house I have ever stayed in." (August, 2016). Great village with shops, a cafe. Excellent for visiting the Mediterranean beaches, Carcassonne, the Pyrenees, and the Minervois vineyards. Nearest airports Carcassonne (15 mins) and Toulouse (1h 20). We offer, in a Cathar country, an experience of living in the middle of the forest, within the mountains, and where the wildlife also shares the place... The cottage is comfortable with Wifi available. Sunny area year-round. Freshness in summer. Hikes to do from the cottage that will take you to the slopes of the surrounding mountains. Located at the foot of the medieval city of Carcassone and in a quiet area, our apartment provides all the comforts for a pleasant stay in the region. Enjoy the city of Carcassonne (June and July festival), the Cathar castles, the Canal du Midi, spend pleasant moments in the black mountain, go around the vineyards (Minervois, Corbière, Fitou,...) or a day at the sea... We do not have parking but parking is free in the neighborhood.
