Holiday rentals in Breaks

Josh's place was perfect for the weekend while we ran in the polar plunge 5k. We could see the starting line which was so nice not to have to be in a rush the morning of the race. Check in was easy. Josh responded quickly when I did have 1 question about check in which was just me double checking I was in the right place, nothing that was his fault! The apartment was clean and the bed was so comfy. We ate at both the brewery downstairs and curklins next door and both were very good! We hope to come back next year!

This was a great place to stay, it was well stocked & clean. They really have everything you need but your toothbrush & toothpaste. We had 2 couples & 2 single adults in our group. The 2 king bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are pretty steep. It is the mountains so everything is steep but that is what we came for. 1 of the couples that planned on staying in 1 of the king rooms could not make it up the stairs so we had to do some rearranging of sleeping arrangements but it was fine. The drive is also pretty steep so be careful when coming in at night, there is a huge drop off to the right at the top of the drive. We had 2 crew cab trucks each with 22 ft trailers for side by sides and made it. It was pretty tight to turn around but we did it. This is standard in the mountains so be prepared, they also have additional parking available across the highway but did not utilize it. Close to 3 trail heads and had a great time. Living/Sun rooms are good for 4 adults each

If a peaceful, sleepy, serene example of what living in a small town is really like, then this is the perfect place for you! This absolutely beautiful and well preserved farmhouse, which dates back to the 1890’s was clearly restored by people who obviously love this house and a way of life that has become very difficult to experience for most folks today. The grounds are picturesque and the livestock on the grounds, only add to the genuine appeal of the overall property. Karen is a very kind, generous, and responsive hostess which only serves to make a stay here more comfortable. The dining area is spacious and well lit. The finer details of this house have been preserved in working order as well. Check out is just as easy as checking in as a side note. To be certain, I have never stayed in any other Air B&B, that I would have been proud to call my own. I have nothing but praise for Karen and the job they did in making it possible for folks to experience this area, and Lee County VA!

Great location! Just a short little drive to the trail head for Rockhouse. House was clean and comfortable! Debbie was super nice and responsive. Brad was awesome as well! We would definitely stay again!

we were two families and we felt like home there. Brenda was such a wonderful host. she left some fresh fruit and vegetable for us as a treat, including fresh wild flowers and so anything in the kitchen that if we forgot, they would have it there. The place was so nice with big rooms and beautiful beds. Outside, the view was breathtaking and we would sit in the porch and just enjoy the view for hours . There is a bbq and fire pit with chairs at night . It was so nice that we wished we stayed there longer

We were here for our company retreat riding on the Hatfield McCoy trails and the house was comfortable for all 16 of us! There was plenty of parking for 3 trucks with trailers, the half dozen other vehicles in our entourage, and our 10 machines once unloaded. The main trailhead for Buffalo Mountain was less than a mile away! You can also easily access Devil Anse, Rock House, and Outlaw trails. We come to this area every year to ride and the Millstone Creek Cabin is our favorite yet. What a trail house needs is comfortable places to sleep and good common areas for large groups to do what they came to do, hang out, and catch up with each other. This place shines on both counts. The true gem here is Karrie. Not only was she an awesome host, but a super cool human to get to know during our stay. Check-in was easy, and she communicated everything pertinent to us before our arrival. We loved the fresh eggs we found in the fridge. Cant wait to come back!

Thomas and his wife Samantha were wonderful hosts. We loved our stay. Sometimes it’s hard for us to go on vacation because of our dogs. We were allowed to bring them, there was a fenced in back yard which made life so much easier. There was a garage to put the machines in. Lots of trails. We absolutely loved the guided tour, we would highly recommend the private tour. We got to see amazing sites. Any questions we had they were very responsive and very nice. We definitely recommend this place, and are looking forward to coming back. My husband lost his wallet while he went riding with my son. My husband didn’t even know his wallet was missing and Tommy had already brought the wallet back to me. Really nice and honest people.

Extremely serene and secluded location and beautiful accommodation but be aware: if you arrive late without having eaten / supplies it can be very difficult to find any open shops or restaurants in the nearby area
