Holiday rentals in Bressay

We had such an amazing stay at Jenny & Pete's! The home was so comfortable, with a really great kitchen set up and a fabulous shower (strong pressure and super hot!) and the most beautiful views over the hill side and cove below. Very convenient to Lerwick, right at a bus stop and less than 10 minutes from town. Jenny was also a really great host, flexible with our check in time and dropping off luggage early, and even helping us sort some car trouble at the end of the trip! Highly recommend!

I have rented many holiday cottages over the years, and sometimes the accommodation hasn’t been as good as I have thought it to be. Happily Hoy Cottage surpassed all my expectations by some margin! This cosy comfortable well equipped house with its outstanding views is within 10 minutes of Lerwick, handy for those trips to the shops and restaurants. Heather was the perfect host, friendly and very obliging. Shetland was a feast for our eyes, and brought joy to our hearts. We will be back!

I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Miranda & Callum’s lovely property. It was absolutely perfect: cosy, comfortable, well equipped, well located & beautifully presented. I was so impressed at the design & use of space. Miranda & Callum are amazing hosts: super friendly, responsive & helpful - which I really appreciated. It was a perfect set up for my stay - I really felt at home, relaxed & happy. I will definitely return & can highly recommend!

Splendid stay in a beautifully maintained house in a stunning part of the world. Fine peaceful refreat, with fantastic views. Our host was excellent, great support before the arrival and on-hand for anything we needed (which we had no cause to use, as the house was superb)

The photos really don't do the house justice, beautiful and cosy. Very spacious and well equipped. Lots of games to keep kids entertained and peaceful spaces for the grown ups. Cooking was delightful in the lovely kitchen, nice hot showers and dreamy beds. Fire place and gorgeous views added to the ambience. Definitely recommended and will revisit ASAP!!!

The View was a great place to stay whilst working in Shetland, house was clean and well presented and comfortable for the 2 weeks I stayed. If I am ever back in Shetland I will book again

A clean, comfortable property in a stunning quiet location - seemingly in the middle of nowhere but an easy 18 minute drive into Lerwick. The host was exceptional, providing a lovely welcome pack (including wine, bread, cheese, etc), fresh flowers and even offering to do some shopping on our arrival. Helpful advice was given regarding the Up Helly Aa, allowing us to fully participate, and she sent literature to us in advance. Easy parking, plentiful hot water and heating, and lots of towels! Highly recommended!

One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. Fantastic value, beautiful surroundings, peaceful location, amazing views and a large Scandinavian-esque well insulated property (a rarity for Scotland!). June and her family were also really proactive and communicative, offering a lot of flexibility. It was great that our dog was also allowed in the property. We struggled to find somewhere in Shetland that would allow him which also had the amenities to WFH from. Then we stumbled upon June’s amazing place. We will definitely recommend this stay to our families who also want to visit Shetland + have their own dogs. Thanks June and the family. Tack så mycket.
