Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bridgton

It was a great place for a large group and the hot tub was key! The driveway to get up to the house was long and there is a steep hill at the end so you should be prepared with AWD if you're going in the snow. Also the largest primary bedroom with the wood stove has a door that connects to another room and that would have been good to know since we were traveling with couples. The primary bedroom does have its own staircase to use the first floor bathroom, but the shower is in the adjoining room so it could be a bit awkward if it's two separate families. Overall, it was a great place to stay in Bridgton - one of our favorite towns with lots of cute restaurants (Beth's!) and fun things to do.

The place is amazing! The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The house is clean, looks like the photos and the host is very responsive. I recommend it :)

Highly recommend! We had a group of 14 and there was plenty of space and plenty of places to sleep. Big master bedroom with attached bathroom was a plus, and all of the beds were very comfortable. Perfect private house location. I just recommend bringing some bottled water as the tap does taste a little funny! There was also a brita in the fridge.

Had a great time staying here! There was so much space, everything was very comfy, loved the pool + ping pong + hot tub. The road getting up to the place is unpaved so we were concerned our 2WD car couldn’t make it up, but by the time we got back from skiing, the road had been plowed and sanded. The two minor downsides during my stay were the water (shower + sinks) occasionally smelled strongly of sulfur (?) but it wasn’t a big deal because the fridge had a filtered water dispenser. Also there is a requirement to not wear shoes in the house but the floors were dirty. No visible dirt but the floors definitely were not mopped. Very responsive host so I imagine if I complained about it something would have been done but it wasn’t actually a real issue.

The house was exactly as described and seen in the photos, a large, beautiful, authentic log cabin in the woods. The setting was quiet and beautiful though conviently right off the main road. We enjoyed cross country skiing, ice skating and a sleigh ride in Jackson (about 30 min away) and shopping in North Conway (about 20 min). Eileen made sure we were plowed and shoveled regularly during the snow storm so we enjoyed curling up by the fire and watching a movie on the large tv. My mother in particular enjoyed all the vintage decor which brought back childhood memories.

I went with my friends and it was fantastic! The surrounding area as beautiful and the added amenities really made the stay special for us.

Loved our stay here in Wolfeboro. Such a beautiful home and property. The added touch of games, toys, and books made it so comfortable and relaxing that we hardly needed to leave the house. Would love to come back again someday!

We were a family multigenerational group. We all found the home extremely comfortable with lots of sunlight, beautifully designed use of space and tasteful decor. All ages 6 months to 72 years enjoyed the home! The hosts were responsive and helpful!

Great place to stay! And Nathan went above and beyond when our little one was under the weather during our stay. Highly recommend!

Valle and David were the perfect hosts and we had an amazing stay. We also got to use the hot tub which was such a treat in the cold weather. Dave and Valle went above and beyond - from leaving little chocolates treats for us to enjoy upon check-in, to very thoughtfully offering to extend our stay for a few hours until the roads cleared out from a the overnight snow storm. We had a lovely stay at the condo. It was the most comfy place to get snowed in. We received about a foot of snow the night we checked in and Seasons was very helpful to continually plow and shovel walkways. We explored the property and had fun sledding down hills with our tube. The condo is very clean and comfortable and has everything you may need. It was still decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch as well. The electric fireplaces worked great and were so pretty to look at. All of the furniture was very cozy and comfortable. The carpet throughout is great on cold days. We highly recommend a sleigh ride at Nestlenook farm if staying in the winter. Living Shores Aquarium is down the block and a great place to visit with kids. Diana’s Baths is a short drive away and beautiful to explore in the snow. Our daughter loved seeing the frozen waterfall. There are lots of restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to come back and see it during the summer months.

Delightful place to stay in Portlands West end. It is easy walking distance to everywhere…. downtown and even the East side. Great restaurants in the neighborhood from breakfast to dinner. The apartment was immaculate and was stocked with just about everything you’d need. The shared yard was charming and felt very private. We have family in the area and I hope we can stay there again and again. It was much more comfortable than a B & B. Lorie was very responsive to anything you might need.

Relaxing. Great get away for a couple nights. Quiet with a great view.

My friends and I had a great time staying here for our ski trip! Nicholas’s listing was a great find for the price. The drive up there was gorgeous and everything was exactly as described. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Great apartment in a very walkable part of Portland, a perfect location for exploring the city. It was clean & spacious with a very comfortable bed and we appreciated the off-street parking. The owner Jeff and his wife are very friendly and served us a fantastic meal at their small brewpub downstairs. I normally wouldn’t choose a rental above a pub, but theirs closes at 9pm every night, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would highly recommended this unit for a stay in Portland.

Forrest and Bridget were wonderful hosts! The place was super easy to find, exactly like the pictures and it was a perfect wknd ski vacation in NH to stay at and have quick access to Attitash and Wildcat Mountains! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore NH!

Perfect weekend getaway!

My wife was absolutely blown away when we arrived that we had found such a place and especially for the price. An extremely cozy spot that made you feel right at home. Not only was it a great well kept space, but the layout was very ergonomic and overall very aesthetically pleasing. Truly a worthwhile trip and we both hope to be returning again soon and we thank you for your hospitality.

Our stay at 1800BC (The Bear Cabin @ Moose Lodge) was awesome!!! We are a family of four with a dog that loves to travel New England for family adventures. The Bear Cabin met all of our expectations and we had a beautiful time skiing at Bretton Woods. This was a special cabin with beautiful woodwork, an awesome wood stove, plenty of space and a superb location. Just a short drive to Bretton Woods (2mns) and close to several to several restaurants on Rt 302 as well. There is Bretton Woods Market and Deli just down the road that can meet most needs as well. If you are a skiing family and want a peaceful yet close proximity to a cool mountain...The Bear Cabin is for you.

awesome place, beautiful view of the mountains on a clear day. The duration of our stay was cold and rainy, so we spent the weekend in the sauna which is worthwhile add-on.

We loved our stay at the cabin! Went up for last hurrah to ski at Sunday River and wanted a dog friendly place, the cabin was perfect beds were super comfy, it was clean and had every amenity we needed. My son wants to come back and try to see a Moose!

My husband and I went to Ossipee to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was cute, cozy, and exceptionally clean, with every amenity you could possibly need. What a beautiful thoughtful place! There were games to enjoy, a kayak, a wood stove inside, and fire pit outside. This place was such a beautiful gem!
