House holiday rentals in Bridport

Really great stay, in a really unique place. Everything was just as it says - and the added bonus of high ceilings, two levels, and the pool being attached to the living room really makes it a special stay. It’s a working farm, and just loved being around that country life energy!

We had a very chilled 4 days at Clare’s lovely pool house. Clare and her husband are great host very friendly and helpful, the village is beautiful and quiet and the sounds of the church bell ringers practising on Thursday night was lush, the pool house is warm and cozy.

We were a group of 15 friends and family - adults, teenagers and children - celebrating new year together. The property suited us perfectly and had everything we needed for a great few days. The location is excellent for the Jurassic coast beaches and Lyme Regis.

This is our second time staying in this lovely caravan. It’s always pristine and lovely. I always felt like a home away from home there. The bedrooms are a good size and the extra full bathroom is a definite plus! I’d highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely perfect hosts and accommodation. This was my first stay at an air bnb and it was wonderful. Kate couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating and assisted me with additional things such as taxi numbers. The accommodation is simply stunning and the layout of the home means that even if a large group of you stay you still have your own space. The pool is welcome addition as are the hands outside, even the harder to please teenagers had a great time. We’re now home and looking at other dates we can return to the cottage. Gill and George made us feel welcome from the start. The property is perfect for the family get together which grew after booking. Gill was extremely accommodating with the changes we made last minute and made our stay at the house really enjoyable. The house was spotless with all the bedrooms set up perfectly and the layout of the property also allows for some quiet time if you have 16 staying! The kids (and adults) had plenty to entertain themselves with from Pool, Table tennis, table football, board games and hot tub. I would highly recommend the house to any family wanting a house to celebrate or holiday together. 3-4 excellent local pubs for great food and a farm shop next door selling the basics and great breakfast sandwiches!

We had an amazing weekend at the cottage! It was the perfect setting for our weekend away! So cosy and surrounded by amazing walks and pubs. Also James and Jane were the best - so helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend!

From Start to Finish Paul was the perfect host, could not do enough for us making sure that the log burners were lit every morning for us - hosting he was great fun and even joined in our activities. Paul has a great place here - you just have to realise that there is no kitchen in the main house but that did not bother us as we spent most of the time up in the area by the Hot Tub which had fantastic kitchen, games, karaoke, bar facilities - thank you Paul you made a great weekend even better !

What a beautiful home. It was home away from home. Thank you Angus and Ann for opening your home to us. We will definitely be back. what an amazing first Christmas trip with my family, special Grandson and our fur babies.

Lovely little place in an ideal location. Beautiful decoration & appliances. Gorgeous little terrace/decking. Excellent communication with host. Nice & clean. Very comfortable bed. Sofa would benefit from a throw or cover as it looks a bit tired, but is also v comfy.

Gorgeous spot in the Devon countryside with incredible facilities, both in and out of the cottage. Firstly, inside - we were greeted with a basket with scones and jam, plus clotted cream and milk for tea in the fridge. So even though we arrived at 9pm we dived straight into a cream tea! The cottage was beautifully welcoming with everything you could need. The travel cot was set-up ready for us which was a great help given our arrival time. Out of the cottage the facilities were top notch. The lovely warm indoor pool was such a treat, and the kids loved the outdoor play area and visiting the chickens and ducks. Had we been staying for longer I’m sure the pool and table tennis tables would have been put to good use too. We have family locally and are already looking forward to returning next time we visit. Fantastic accommodation in the heart of Swanage. Apartment is finished to a very high standard with beautiful décor. Everything works as it should and the under floor heating is a real treat in the morning when making breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay. The Lodge is beautiful and has everything that we needed as a family of four. The Lodge was clean and inviting and Gary is an excellent host. Gorgeous views, loads of space for the kids to play and a brilliant hot tub too. Thank you!

Second time staying at the house. Brilliant few nights away. Perfect location, very clean, parking and 4 bedrooms which is ideal for us and the kids. Highly recommend. Looking to book again later this year.

Its a so cosy and convenient house, we family all love it, Gary is so nice and kind who gave us very helpful guidance during our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marc's home, it's located in a very quiet cul-de-sac with very friendly neighbours. The upstairs of the house consists of 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (with walk-in shower) while the downstairs is a spacious open-plan area leading onto a huge decking area. There is also a useful downstairs WC which isn't shown in the listing. Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need, even tea and coffee is provided (you'll find the toaster in one of the cupboards). There is a full size fridge/freezer; washing machine in utility cupboard. There is an out-building which we found really useful to store our 3 bikes and bikerack. The dryer can be found here but we just used the clothes line in the garden. There was a nice welcome box with wine, biscuits, sweets & butter. Just down the road is a great chippy called Fishionados. All in all, Marc's place really is a 'home from home' - thoroughly recommended.
