Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Brighton

The houses managed by Christina and Historic Houseparts are truly gems in the Airbnb world. My husband and our five kids visit Rochester twice a year to see family, so we have a lot of experience with Airbnbs. I am always looking for something interesting, preferably historic, and am generally disappointed, except when we stay in these homes. It is truly a joy and luxury to be in a home that has been thoughtfully restored, decorated, and supplied without skimping. While there are aspects of an old home like bedroom doors not closing flush and awkward tiny staircases, we are willing to overlook a lot for a vacation in a cool home like this. I really appreciated the small fans in each bedroom and a really well stocked kitchen (large stockpots and mixers in Airbnbs are few and far between!). All the historic books on Rochester were exactly to our taste, too. The price point makes this stay a steal. Can’t recommend enough!!

The house was absolutely lovely, offering stunning views and a comfortable, well-equipped space. The fireplace was a highlight for many of us, and the variety of lighting options added a cozy touch. We experienced a small appliance issue, but the owner was quickly responsive and accommodating. The house’s beautiful design and breathtaking water views make it truly stand out.

We had a group of 16 of us stay at this airbnb. It was awesome! Just like the pictures, place was clean and we had plenty of room for the 16 of us. He careful if the driveway is icey, it's hard to get up. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

This by far our favorite vacation spot! We have come here countless times because of how much we love it. Less than 15 minutes to strong museum! Neil is super responsive and listens to feedback! We asked for kids board games at the house and he was able to provide! Can’t wait to come back

We were in town to spend the holidays with family and the house was everything that we had hoped for! It was warm and welcoming and a great space for us all to spend time together. Everything was clean and the house had everything that you might need for a wonderful stay. Owner was easy to reach and answered questions quickly. We loved it and are already talking about a repeat visit next year!

We stay at Lindsey’s house every time we’re in Rochester, and it is perfect every time. The house is clean, well appointed, modern and spacious. Lindsey even decorated it for the holidays and made it seem like home.

Enjoyed our holiday house in Webster. Décor & atmosphere felt just right. Antiques and little treasures of décor were nice touches! Warm and cozy inside, well-dressed for Christmas. Clean; comfy; abundant amenities; well-equipped kitchen. We would book again when in the area. Thank you for being a responsive host.

We had a great girl's weekend getaway at Michelle's cottage on Lake Canandaigua. It is so quiet and peaceful we just loved it. Everything was perfect...location, things to do, great restaurants, clean, warm, friendly people and beautiful scenery. What more can you ask for? I would definitely return if I was going to the Finger Lakes again. Thanks Michelle for a wonderful weekend!

We reached out to Galina for a last minute reservation when our initial one fell through. She was fast with her responses and we loved her place! It was perfect for our family of 5. It was a very clean and cozy place and the beds were so comfy. Very tasteful decor too. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place! It was perfect for a weekend stay. Loved the esthetics and it smelled wonderful lol only thing to note is that it is on a busy street. But I would for sure stay again if in the city!

We really appreciated Kristie’s response to our last minute request to check in a day early. “Not a problem.” Her apartment is just as it is listed: peaceful country setting, spotless throughout, brand new bathroom, comfy bed, and my favorite, reclining chairs! Kristie also provides snacks, coffee and water for the weary traveler. We stayed for two nights while in town to visit family and friends. We look forward to staying again next time we are “home”. This home is full of history and feels so magical. From the charming antiques to the glowing candles throughout. It had such a warm and cozy ambience. This was by far the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Robin was an amazing host and so accommodating and responsive. We had zero issues during our stay.

This was my sister and my second time staying at Roger's AirBNB. We purposely returned for the wonderful hosting, convenience, access to great parks, museums, and family nearby. This time we stayed on the first floor which was beautiful and homey. The surrounding neighbors were friendly and I loved walking my dogs and chatting with them everyday. Roger is a fantastic host - always responsive, a gentleman, and professional. He was flexible with our wish to return this year for which we are grateful. We will definitely consider returning again.

I really liked the small apartment and would recommend it to others. It was spotlessly clean and as pictured. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. There was also coffee, coffee creamer, sugar and small packaged snacks. Super! I felt like a dear family member. Thank you very much!

Miranda and Brian went above and beyond. The place is very clean and they thought of everything needed to provide in the home. The place was also very spacious. We loved it it was 3 adults and 2 children
