Very friendly host, but difficult to communicate due to the language barrier. A clear email in advance, which allows you to enter immediately upon arrival. Spacious garage where you can put your car dry and let your ski stuff dry. The house is dated, but that was already visible in the pictures. Still, everything was clean! The beds are comfortable and clean. The kitchen also has everything you need: stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee and tea. For the kids, there were games and a playsyation. Behind the house is a lawn where the dog could sniff. There is not much to do within walking distance, but it is about 20 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Winterberg. In summary, it is a nice, spacious, somewhat dated, clean house with plenty of space inside and outside. Friendly hosts and good location to relax.

My friends and I visited Hardy and immediately loved the house. Due to the various possibilities that the house offers, we were able to spend a weekend there without relying on external offers. Thank you very much for the great weekend in your house!

Had a great weekend there. One of the best equipped accommodations we've ever been to. With sauna and billiards, you also have great activities there when the weather is not so good.

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

We celebrated Christmas in this house with the family and it was great. Even the Christmas tree was set up in the house when we arrived It is a nice house with plenty of spacious rooms and plenty of sanitary facilities. We enjoyed both the house and the beautiful surroundings.

Heike and Detlef are very friendly and accommodating hosts. The apartment is read on the first floor on the edge of the forest as described in the photos. It is very homely and cozily furnished and we (me and my two children 17 and 11) really lacked nothing from the furnishings and kitchen utensils - at most a dishwasher. The bathroom is out of the apartment door - directly to the next door - in the hallway, but we found that completely problem-free. If you are looking for nature, peace and extremely nice landlords, you are in good hands here. There are enough excursion destinations for 2 weeks stay within 20 kilometers. We will definitely come back again in the summer!

The property is wonderfully located on a slope and offers a great starting point for hikes. We especially enjoyed the large play barn with ping pong table and air hockey. Also to be highlighted are the new mattresses and the feeling that a lot of love was put into the house and the amenities here. We had a wonderful weekend at Ferienhaus Grimme.

We had a quiet, relaxing time.

It was all in all very nice! A great and incredibly quiet place to unwind. The trails around it are recommended. Jakob and Elena have decorated the house very lovingly and it is well maintained. We would definitely come again.

Communication with the hosts worked very well (friendly, fast, etc.). The premises are really very suitable for larger groups as there is enough space and room to split up for different activities. Everything necessary is available in the house (including many toys for small children, toilet paper, sauna towels). Dog's are welcome. The house itself is in good condition, but you can tell from the building that it is no longer the youngest. We were there in winter (0 degrees outside temperature) and it took 1-2 days for the indoor temperature to be pleasant - bring slippers highly recommended. All in all, we really enjoyed the stay and would be happy to come back. P.S.: We mainly used the room with the billiard table as a cooling chamber, was almost at outside temperature. If you fire the oven all day in winter, you can endure yourself in the room in the evening, but it was too much effort for every day.

Nice place, quiet and relaxed location in the Sauerland!

Beautiful, well-kept country cottage, not far from Schmallenberg. We lacked nothing - we were even helped out with a box of beer on the holiday. Host and accommodation, we can fully recommend. Best regards

The house is very nice and spacious, perfect for larger groups. We were there with 5 adults and 4 children. It is all beautifully distributed in huge living rooms, which offers a wonderful view of the (snow)landscape with the glass bay window. On the lower floor, everything is super modern. In the kitchen is really everything you need from raclette to fondue to different pans and pots. A base of spices... Really everything there. In the upper bag are the bedrooms and two bathrooms. About half of the bedrooms have super comfortable box spring beds. The other bedrooms have simple wooden beds. Of course, Sauna is great. The landlady Ms. Vogelbacher is really exceptionally friendly and easily accessible. Both before and after the stay it was always possible to talk to her on short notice and she always answered all questions. Thank you! We will be happy to come back :-)

Those who want to be quiet and beautiful are in good hands there. We had 2 wonderful days at this house with 3 kids and dog. Great and very tastefully decorated...

We felt super comfortable in the apartment. There was everything you needed. With the fantastic weather we also particularly enjoyed the great garden. We would come back anytime.

Great place for larger groups on a weekend - everything there for cooking etc. Everything was clean. However, you should not expect great luxury.

Good, spacious house to discover sauerland!

We had a wonderful time in this house as a grandpa and grandmother with our two daughters and men and our 5 grandchildren. Each family has their own floor. The game room was unique to the grandchildren, a lot of table tennis. The view is formidable. The nature close to Dudinghausen is wonderful for walking. Recommended is the walk around the Kale Pon. Because we were there in February, the children and grandchildren were also able to ski. The ski slopes are within half an hour's drive. This house is recommended. We were already there for the second time.

Good host and beautiful apartment

We spent a great weekend at Villa Sand (4 adults, 1 baby) and really had a lot of space, there is just NOTHING lacking, it's thought of everything (coffee, tea, accessories for grilling, spices, just everything) so you can't help but feel right at home. The communication was unique and the two are just great. A bakery is within walking distance, but also lots of supermarkets and smaller restaurants/snacks. I can only recommend the house, we felt so comfortable, the sauna is of course still the icing on the cake.

We had a super nice weekend with the whole family, there was space for everyone and it was fantastic opportunities. Our host on site was super friendly, attentive and even helped us out with a car problem. All around a successful weekend and a great location!
