We stayed at Mollie's over Christmas and New Year and had a great time. The house is beautifully set out with stylish art and unique furniture. For us the stand out room was the kitchen (where we spent a lot of time as a family) - it's spacious, warm and opens out onto a lovely little back yard. It was great for Christmas and new year celebrations. Mollie also made the effort to put up a lovely Christmas tree and decorations to make us feel very festive. The whole house is well appointed with everything you need and the bathroom is lovely as well with a great shower and deep traditional bath. The local area is very nice with a supermarket just a few minutes walk as well as local grocers, coffee shops and restaurants too. We also enjoyed some of the excellent pubs really close by within a few minutes walk of the house. There are also parks nearby for dog walks and the city centre is walkable too. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Mollie!

Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely town to stay in and to explore, and is also a great location to stay to access Bath. This house is so close to the British Rail station that we were able to use the train as a 10 minute shuffle service and avoid the hassle of Bath traffic and car parking.

Really comfortable house at a great price. Lovely and warm despite the weather being freezing! Everything you could need for a holiday, including a cute little outdoor sitting area. Walkable distance to Frome town centre, also pubs, chippy, supermarkets within walking distance. Good communication from the hosts. We would definitely recommend.

A lovely, peaceful stay. Beautiful surroundings and a great location to explore the forest. Comfortable beds and a spacious living area. We’ll be back 🙂

Had an amazing time at the home this weekend. The house was better than I anticipated. Plenty of room and clean. The indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic. The bar and cinema were amazing for entertaining. The host was very friendly and helpful. He was available to answer my questions even late in the evening. I would highly recommend this booking and would love to stay again.

We loved our stay at Dove Lodge, great hosts, great location and beautiful accommodation. We stayed with our 11 month old and he loved exploring the garden!

What an absolute gem, the accommodation is spotless and so comfortable. It’s in a brilliant location for exploring the surrounding areas. There were so many thoughtful touches, lots of choice for breakfast. The dog is lovely, well behaved and doesn’t make a sound. The rooms have everything you need. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay for my partners 30th birthday. It was perfect for all 8 of us who stayed. It was close to Bath city centre and was able to get either bus, train or walking to get to the city centre. The only thing is with 8 of us it was hard using one bathroom however, we made it work as best as we could. We would definitely recommend this place to friends/family and may even be back.

We had an incredible stay. Ann really made us feel at home, and the house is amazing. Lots of space for a group of 7 adults and 1 toddler. The hot tub and pool really made our weekend extra special.

Lovely peaceful cottage with all the amenities you could need. Very relaxing. Sitting out on the balcony with views of the lake was the perfect switch off needed. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could need. Small gestures like supplying shampoo, hairdryers etc helps the ease of packing. Nice touches with the board games too. Communication with Chris and Alexandra was effective and fast. Very friendly. The estate this is on makes this place suitable for families as well as couples. We used the outdoor pool, tennis courts, football pitch and sat in the resturant for a coffee but the beauty of this place is the cottage is tucked away from it all so if you want to switch off from it all you can. We took a 40 minute walk into Ashton Keynes following the Thames trail. Very easy to find and follow. Thank you Chris and Alexandra. We will be recommending to others.

Excellent instructions to find the property. House was clean and comfortable. There was sufficient plates, cups, glasses, etc for the number of people stating in the house, plus a large pan for cooking. The children who were part of the group appreciated the toys on the property. The park was quiet and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying here again for a family get together

A beautiful little place, in a beautiful little spot. We found a cute welcome basket on the table with a welcome pack and snacks. It’s very clean and tidy, with lovely decor. A good selection of additional amenities; great selection of books & games! The hot tub was a fantastic addition too! The garden area was very secure, which was a relief as we had our dog with us - he loved the place too! Lots to do, not too far of a drive to get to so many different places! The hosts were lovely, welcoming us as we arrived & gave clear instructions on how to find the property. I would highly recommend this little hideaway, and will definitely book again if we come back to the area! Thank you Gemma & Roly! :)

Beautiful place, swimming pool was the real wow factor. We had access to the pool far more than we'd expected. Only one day, for less than 2 hours, where the owners requested we didn't use the pool, so they could. Lovely village pub with great food less than 5 minutes walk was also fantastic. Lots of useful information shared prior to arrival.

We had a lovely stay at Tamsin's place. Tamsin was really welcoming and showed us around. The place is cosy, clean and spacious. Great location as you can walk from the door to the Tor. We would definitely stay again. Also loved Pepper the dog!

I booked this 3 night stay to spend time with my family and our two Labradors for my 50th birthday. Victoria had ensured my 50 was well advertised and I felt very special with a lovely message and welcome pack. I really couldn’t ask for anywhere better!!!! The house had everything provided. Our water babies (dogs) made amazing lake walks very special. The swimming pool and facilities were lovely and clean and warm. We were extremely lucky to have sunny days for February and throughly enjoyed chilling out and making the best of the sunny front patio area watching the wildlife and taking in the peace and beauty ❤️ and thank you Victoria for your fabulous communication x

Lovely apartment, very comfortable, we had a very relaxing stay with my parents and children. Great walking routes and we enjoyed birdwatching from the balcony! Would recommend you bring food with you as the onsite shop is quite specialist and it’s a 20-min round trip to get to the local shops. To this end, it would be nice if there were a pint of milk in the fridge to make a cuppa on arrival 🙂 Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely little place - compact and perfectly formed ! Amanda was a brilliant host and went above and beyond to make sure my stay here with my two cockerpoos was as comfortable as possible. Little treats were left including beautiful fresh flowers. Very well equipped, clean modern kitchen. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, the bedding was of good quality as were the towels. Powerful hot shower in a lovely little bathroom added to my fabulous experience in staying at Joes place. Two lovely pubs in the village and lots of cute walks to tire out the pups ! A perfect location for our short break in Somerset with 2 dogs. The villa is quirky, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lots of space for families with a beautiful garden, sun room and great kitchen. Lovely walks nearby and we walked to the local restaurant the first evening for a takeaway. Took a total of 8 mins there and back! A great base for visiting the Mendips, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and Blagdon. A stones throw from Wookey Hole also, although we didn’t visit this time. I would really recommend this beautiful place. If you want to either kick back and relax, or walk and walk and walk - then this is the place for you. Thank you so much. We’d love to return if you’ll have us!

Bungalow has so much space inside, all the rooms are large. Mattresses weren’t the comfiest but the space was clean and ideal for a large family. Note: The kids food portions from the pub at the bottom of the hill are gigantic! Definitely consider splitting.

We had a great stay in Palm apartment, instantly felt at home with more than everything we needed. Only the 2 of us with our dog so we had plenty of space, if there was 4 of us there still would have been plenty of space. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a super host who provided us with clear instructions on how to travel, park and how to access the property. It was a very clean property and met all our expectations for our short stay in the Bath/ Bristol area. We would be very happy to stay there again in the future.

The place was great. As soon as you walk through the door you realise that this is an oasis of calm. The kids loved the bunk beds and grandparents the master bedroom. Great part of the world and extremely convenient. :)

We stayed at the Wee Calf to get away for a few days and we can safely say it was a beautiful getaway for both of us. Louise was so helpful and kind to us and we were made to feel so welcome. We would love to stay again soon!

Can’t fault it at all. Had a few things whilst on the stay which we had to raise with the hosts but they were responsive and responsible. Lovely views, and the atmosphere was great. Would gladly stay again.
