Our secluded cabins are on top of a mountain with on-property access to the Doe Mountain Recreational Area. Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Camping, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. Oak Leaf Bungalow in Damascus

Hurricane Helene caused damage to many trails including the Creeper, which is closed from White Top thru Damascus, altho the section near Abingdon is open. Most roads open. Our Bungalow is intact. Electricity & water are restored. Please email with any questions. The bungalow is walking distance to the center of town. We're just 15 minutes from Abingdon. The house is cozy and we have a great yard for kids and dogs. Our landline phone has unlimited long distance and we have Wifi and Roku TV

I do not charge a cleaning fee as long as guest leave place clean as found. Also located on our 6 acre estate is a 2nd BNB rental the "BEARFOOT CHALET" to allow families to be close.

Close to Bristol Motor Speedway, Tri-Cities Airport, Universities, and the Great Smokey Mountains. Sleeps up to eight people, with a king, 2 queen, pullout sofa, daybed, and futon. Home is very clean and is fully equipped with all the luxuries of home. Internet is provided. Breakfast items are included. No smoking, no parties, and no pets.

Our cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with an loft style open floor plan. Beds consist of one king, one queen, and two single beds. There is a covered porch around the entire home, with hanging swings and rocking chairs for relaxation. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and gas grille on the back porch. We can accommodate sleeping arrangements for more than 6 occupants with cots for a small upcharge should it be requested.
