I highly recommend staying at Alison’s place. It has a beautiful view of the mountains and ocean, with great local restaurants and it’s easy to get around to other parts of Vancouver. Her place is very clean and well laid out. It is a vacation in and of itself to stay in and just enjoy the accommodation! Alison was also very flexible and responsive as a host - thank you for a wonderful stay!

Astrid and Stephen’s place is our favourite home away from home in Cowichan Bay. It is quiet and private, and everything we need (the bakery!) is close by. The apartment is spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. We enjoy the changing views and variety of wildlife right outside the window. We visit as often as possible for our art retreats and always wish we could stay longer. We so appreciate being able to travel to such a special local gem and look forward to our next visit. Thank you again!

I have started here before and will again. A lovely place

This place was great for 2 friends travelling. We were spending the long weekend to celebrate my 50 th bday and wanted something central. Was close enough to downtown and far away from noise. The building was quiet and very secure. We used the gym across the hall. It lacked a few gym essentials and some equipment was old but we made it work. The extra patio off the gym was an added bonus. The bedroom divider was a great way to add privacy without it being a full bedroom. The Murphy wall bed had a regular mattress and not a pull out mattress which is what I was looking for. It was firm but comfy. The owner responded quickly to my messages. We will definitely stay here again :)

Great stay, extremely communicative

Magical!! Even more beautiful than the photos. The place was exceptionally clean and hosts very responsive. Communication excellent. I would love to come back here and just sit and enjoy the view some more.

There are always people in this world who strive for perfection, and Krystal’s Airbnb is a perfect example of that. The location is unbeatable—right in downtown, just north of False Creek—making it incredibly convenient to reach any attraction. But what truly sets it apart is the attention to detail. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need: Starbucks coffee pods, tea bags, sugar cubes, honey, and a generous selection of seasonings. Beautiful enamelled pots, a complete set of dishware, and a variety of carefully chosen cups exist. As guests, we understand that there are always more budget-friendly options, but it’s clear that the host has consciously chosen quality over cost-cutting. The moment I spotted a bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce in the cabinet—a staple for many Asian travellers—I was genuinely touched. This level of thoughtfulness goes above and beyond. A huge thank you to both of you for creating such a wonderful stay.

We had a great week . Lovely place and views are great . Just a few minutes from downtown Sydney . Place was very clean and had many amenities . We’ll be back to visit again !

This is the second time we have stayed at Diane’s place and I’m sure we will be back. It is tucked away in very peaceful quiet area of hope. Right on the river which is great for a cold plunge and hot tub to warm up in after. There is a beautiful walking trail right out of the driveway that takes you to othello tunnels. Inside the house is spacious and clean. Great for cooking meals and relaxing with friends. Diane was a great host and had provided everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and convenient location for our Victoria trip. Lake view and private dock was a bonus. We went during Thanksgiving so we appreciated the view and hot tub. Only complaint was the very limited cooking pans and pots

We stayed at Kim's cabin over Christmas and it was a great choice. The cosy, wooden interior, the log fireplace, and the moody views across the lake really made it a special stay. The open layout of the main living area makes for a great group hang-out space. - the well stocked kitchen overlooks the living space, with an island with stools in-between - perfect for laying out spreads for people to graze! The dining area to the side, while removed slightly from the main area, is still very open and holding conversations between the 3 areas was seamless We only used the 2 downstairs bedrooms and the furnishings were good and in-keeping with the cosy and rustic feel. We made use of both the sauna and jacuzzi tub, and both worked well. As a group of just 4 we fit very comfortably, but even with 6 I feel there'd be plenty of room to hang out together, or spread out and have your own space if you wanted. Overall a very comfortable property than captures the warm vibe of the Kootenays.

The house is immense but also cozy at the same time. It’s private but also very close to shops, restaurants, and beaches. It’s very modern but still embodies the Pacific Northwest. It has all the luxuries of a resort but large enough to host 1 or two families. Thanks for the awesome experience.

We enjoyed a 3-generation family getaway at this fabulous home mid-winter. It was perfect! With 2 kitchens, we were able to create celiac-safe meals in one of them. With 2 dining room tables, we had room to leave a 1000-piece puzzle set up at one of them. With the wood-fired sauna, and a firepit on the front lawn area, there was always a project for the 10 and 9 year old grandsons to learn about making fires safely. We rarely left the house! There were eagles, ducks, boats, and waves to watch.

Smokey point was great very clean with easy access to Tofino and Ucluelet. The hosts were easy to communicate with The kitchen was well equipped. We had a wonderful time.

Great place to stay with a group of friends, even in the rainy winter season. The sauna was definitely a highlight, if you’re comfortable getting the wood stove going. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely return!

it was a fantastic and peaceful location. We were there in March so the outside pool was closed but the inside/ outside pool was open and everyone enjoyed the access to it. the one glitch that would have been nice to know ahead of time is that,although you can access the pool without the fob you do need it to get back in to the building. There is a beautiful board walk walkway that is within close proximity. the unit was very clean and nicely decorated.

My boyfriend and I had a weekend getaway at Celina's place. It felt like home away from home. Our stay was very relaxing, and the apartment was clean and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The living room window offers a nice view of the ocean. While we didn't have much luck with the weather, the cozy atmosphear of the apartment made the rainy day bearable. We absolutely recommend it to anyone comming to Tofino.

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

This was my second time staying at Kyle’s Airbnb and I loved coming back. The location can’t be beat and you can hear the sounds of waves in the background. Great ground floor option if you have a pet. Walkable into town which makes grocery shopping or eating out no problem!

Angie’s place was beautiful! She provided very clear and thorough check-in and parking instructions that made it easy to follow when we arrived. She was also very communicative and friendly which I appreciated. The place itself was stunning - big windows, great view, nice kitchen and it was clean when we arrived. The view out the window was definitely a plus as well. We rented a car so being near main roads was very convenient. The only thing I would note is, as mentioned in the listing, this place is near the sky train which is convenient, but it is pretty loud when it’s arriving/leaving the station - so if you are sensitive to loud noises or are a light sleeper, it’s something to keep in mind. Regardless, I would definitely recommend visiting and would book Angie’s place again when I’m back in the area!

It’s ideally located near Granville Island, downtown Vancouver, and an array of incredible restaurants, cafés, lounges, and entertainment options. The apartment itself is cozy, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with a fully equipped kitchen and ample storage space. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, with clear instructions that made everything effortless. Kash’s attentiveness was especially appreciated—he checked in on us every few days to make sure we were comfortable, which was a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Beautiful place right on the water with lots of amenities right in the resort. It was a lovely place to stay with kids. I’m going to miss that amazing main bedroom and the beautiful sunrises over the beach!! It is also super close to other beaches and provincial parks - lots to check out in parksville and surrounding areas
