Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Brixham

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

We stayed as a family of 3 during the Easter half term to visit family in Preston. The property was perfectly positioned for us. Local shops and cafe’s nearby were useful, as well as the beach. Inside the property, it has been nicely decorated and was clean. Plenty of space for our family. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows and extra blankets if needed. Outside the property was a designated parking space on the driveway which was great. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

We had such a lovely week here over Easter. The views are to die for at this property, and even on the odd rainy day it was simply a pleasure to be in this house soaking up the wonderful views all around. Hot tub was also amazing and loads of lovely places to sit outside too. The beds were super comfy and the place peaceful, but also pubs and Dartmouth just a step away. Mark was a super helpful host as well. Thank you 😊

Accomodation very well described and presented, clean, description accurate, clear instructions regarding access, heating cooking ect. Everything worked, host answered questions promptly. Site facilities (mainly the outdoor pool), were found to not be open due to the season. We did feel a bit let down as on arrival 5th April 2025, we were told it would open on Monday 7th April (our last day, with us having to vacate by 10am). The pool had to be booked on the day at 9am at reception, upon arriving at reception on 7th at 9am we were told the pool was not open until 2pm... So the kids missed out....and due to this I feel the need to advise those visiting golden sands to check and open facilities with the site carefully before making any final decisions. Lovely accommodation sadly I won't re visit the site. Golden sands is also a cashless site... having drawn cash for the whole holiday it was a massive inconvenience to then have to locate a bank and restock the account at short notice.

Wendy’s house is a delight, overlooking the sea at Hope Cove. We went in off season, but local pub was open. The accommodation is exactly as described, warm, comfortable and in a great location- the local roads are a bit narrow though!! Easy drive to Salcombe. I would imagine it gets very busy here in the summer as it is such a lovely area.

A really lovely week, marred only by a couple of days' rain (which of course was nobody's fault!). Taryn was extremely efficient and responsive. Barbara was charming and helpful, and explained so much about the lambing process. The house was roomy - great for a family party of nine. My granddaughter loved visiting the lambs, and even holding a newly-born lamb in her arms. Wonderful rolling hill farmland to walk the dog. Visits to the sea, Exeter and Totnes were great too. Thank you, Barbara and Taryn.

The house is lovely. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could want. Plenty of towels supplied. Very quiet area. Would be even better in the summer. Only downside is not having dedicated parking but we found a spot just down the road.

This was a returning visit and as always, enjoyed our stay at this lovely accommodation. Perfect location to walk the coastline and enjoy amazing views. Absolutely faultless. The perfect hosts. Thankyou again

A delightful stay in wonderful surroundings, views are sublime, home from home facilities, dog friendly property with lots of walks, well equipped kitchen although we didn't really cook as there are so many restaurants and bars to try! Julie ensured we had everything we needed and communicated well. look forward to a return visit when we have a bit more time to enjoy ourselves.

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

Our stay was short but oh so lovely! We felt at home as soon as we stepped foot inside the caravan. The Easter decorations and treats were a lovely touch and our 6 year old loved it! The caravan had all you would need, comfy beds and ample space for parking. The site was so quiet and peaceful. The pool was glorious, lovely and warm and very quiet with only having to share it with one other family each time we used it. Site staff were also really friendly. Brixham was lovely to walk around too. Thank you Lisa for a fab stay, we will look forward to a return trip soon!

Lovely stay, we loved the welcome pack including fresh milk and bread , so the kettle was straight on for a cuppa after a long journey down. Lesley was easy to message and responsive quickly! The caravan was clean and fresh and the shower was lovely and powerful!, our fur-babies were also allowed to join us which made it lovely. I really can’t fault it. Thank you again Lesley! We were very impressed with Adam’s apartment. It was very clean with everything you could need. It was in a beautiful location looking over Goodrington beach with sea views. The doors opened up onto the balcony which was great. The swimming pool looked lovely but the weather was just too cold to use it in February. It was only a short stroll to the beach. We would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return.

Once again we had a lovely stay at Stancombe. The farmhouse is beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the cosy kitchen with the aga but it would have been nice to have slightly more space in the lounge for comfy seating as there were ten of us we couldn't all sit in there at the same time. Beautiful historic building thanks again Sophia and Hilary!

We had a fantastic stay with a beautiful circular walk from the house to Bolberry Down and Hope Cove.

Simply can not recommend this place enough! The area is fantastic and having the opportunity to relax in a hot tub under the stars is something everyone should experience at some point. The property is in a lovey village with everything in reach. The local food and bar scene are equally amazing with Plymouth not too far away. A lot of culture to fit in, I wish we’d stayed longer. Holls went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. And we will definitely be returning! 10/10.

The Bungalow was perfect for our short stay. Well equipped and in a great location, easy to find and close to amenities.

Lovely spacious accommodation. Very peaceful and a great base for enjoying the area. Very clean. We had some travel difficulties so were particularly grateful that Catherine kindly accommodated our very late arrival.

The apartment was just what we needed, a home from home with a fantastic seaview Jemma was away this week but her mum Jackie was lovely, very helpful and welcoming as was her dad and the dog😊 All in all a brilliant week.

Oh wow!!! Right from the start Lenny communicated with us straight away. Always a fast and friendly response to any questions we had. Really clear directions for when we were close and helpful instructions for when we arrived. On our arrival the place was absolutely spotless, I mean spotless!! It has a very homely and comfy feel. Lenny kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed, if not to just let her know. We didn't need anything as everything you could think of was catered for, all the kitchen supply's were available, all cooking equipment, towels, iron, tea towels. It had all the things you need, even down to a sewing kit!! The sitting room had a sofa bed and was spacious and comfy. The bed in the bedroom was like sleeping on a cloud, so soft, squishy and cosy. The hottub was amazing and the shower had good pressure. It was just a home from home place. The location was excellent the beach is very close and all supermarkets within 5-7 min drive. We really loved it, ty 🥰

First stay at an Airb&b. Staying at Jeans lovely home has given me the confidence to try others. This location was perfect. Lovely garden , a joy to watch the birds. Jean had kindly left some things in the fridge for us and was generous in use of condiments etc. good instructions on how to use tv, comfy chairs. The walk in shower was much appreciated. We had asked if we could drop off our cases as we had travelled by train and Jean offered a place to leave them. She then sent us a message to say we could arrive at 1:30, which was very kind. Jean is a super host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. After wet beach walks we enjoyed warming up in front of the log burner watching a film. A really peaceful location and we felt right at home and comfortable straight away. Location was great for exploring neighbouring towns, beaches and amenities. Would definitely stay here again!
