Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sparrow’s Worth is a quaint cottage filled with reclaimed floors and staircase from an 1860’s Virginia farmhouse. The upstairs bedroom welcomes you with mix of old and repurposed furniture. The small attached bath has a raised toilet and a shower. Notice the old radio from Baltimore, MD converted to a vanity. There is plenty of natural light for reading, and blackout drapes for resting. Refrigerator, stove, toaster oven, table, Fire TV, WiFi.

Over 2 miles of wooded trails on property for guest use. 15-20 min walk through woods trails (part of this walk is on a hill) to access Rockfish River.

Welcome to La-de-da! We are located in beautiful, rural Howardsville, Virginia with convenient access to all the recreational amenities the James River has to offer. We are a VERY scenic 35 minutes to Wintergreen, all the wineries, breweries, distilleries and orchards in the region and great hiking trails! We are far enough outside of the cities of Charlottesville and Scottsville to provide peace and quiet, but just a scenic 20 minute drive to Scottsville and 40 minutes to Charlottesville.

Lotus View Retreat in Yogaville / Cabin

Beautiful Log Cabin with a separate bedroom with queen-size bed, and a sleeping/meditation loft, full kitchen, full bath, a semi-wraparound deck and a covered porch. The cabin deck is excellent for star gazing on the clear night sky There is a laundry machine available for stays longer than 5 days. The oven is temporarily out-of-service but if you need access to one please let me know and we can arrange for that. The stovetop has a substitute double burner hot plate for the time being.

Charming cottage located in Scottsville, Virginia on a 93 acre sheep farm. It is located 19 miles from Charlottesville. The Shepherdess Cottage is tiny, relatively private and offers beautiful views. We are a working farm so you may encounter us, but will respect your privacy as much as we can. You are welcome to "free range" with our sheep and enjoy exploring the property. Sometimes our lambing seasons (Spring and Fall) will offer bottle babies that you can feed and cuddle.
