What a lovely stay we had at Shenley Lodge while attending 4 days of the British Grand Prix. I cant say enough about how helpful Katarina was from the moment we - sleepily - stepped out of the taxi after a redeye from Heathrow. We were fortunate to be able to check in early, and we immediately felt right at home. We were so lucky to experience Katarina’s thoughtful kindness - homemade soup, starting us out with bottles of water, and even fitting us in for extra services like a massage right on site. Oh, and i cant forget thr wonderful reataurant suggestions! The surroundings and neighborhood are absolutely gorgeous and quaint. You will want to go for a walk or catch a ride on a Lime scooter to explore - we had SO much fun ‘scooting’ around. We made breakfast each morning in the unit and picked up basics at the Tesco a couple blocks away. Very simple to walk. All in all I would love to stay again! Thank you Katarina for our lovely stay!

Beautiful spot to hide away for a few days. Wonderful walks on doorstep. Surrounded by wildlife it really is a magical location. The lambs are very cute and I enjoyed listening to the owls in the night and the watching the wildlife from the window.

I arrived a few hours early, and Simon let me check in early to save me sitting in my car. He ensured the place was warm and that I had what I needed. In fact, I became quite ill and on my second day managed to live on the well stocked fridge Simon had provided, without stepping foot outside all day, (for which I am hugely grateful). The bed is comfy and I slept very well. The views are staggering. The bathroom is immaculate. Oh, and the local pub which is a thirty second walk away...yeah, that's has a Michelin star. In summary, other AirBnB hosts should stay here for a few nights to see how it should be done. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon, and my stay, despite my illness, was an absolute pleasure.

Such an excellent place, so secluded yet so well connected! It was only 20mins drive from Oxford town centre, 15 mins from Bicester Village. It was so tranquil, so peaceful, I would book again in the summer when the weather is much warmer. Hot tub was nice and privately located whilst over looking the forestry area. Only small thing i would ask for is bigger pans for cooking as we spent most of our time in the bungalow with the family and enjoying the hot tub!

We had a wonderful stay at ‘aloft.’ The space had everything we needed and it was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. At first we were worried it was going to be very cramped, but we were pleasantly surprised by the space. We had brilliant weather so we were able to make use of the small outdoor seating area and BBQ. The location was fantastic. We throughly enjoyed our trips to Legoland and Windsor Castle. We would definitely recommend ‘aloft’ for anyone wanting to visit nearby attractions. Thanks again, Nicola

Lovely studio apartment, perfect base for our weekend in Whitchurch on Thames. The parking was really useful too. Very comfy bed and plenty of towels!

The studio snug was beautifully clean and the interior well-thought-out, tastefully decorated and well-appointed. Absolutely ideal location for us as we were walking parts of the Thames Path during the day and exploring Marlow's superb restaurants in the evenings. In spite of being located less than 10 minutes' walk from the town centre parking right next to the access to the property was very easy and readily available and the location was really quiet and peaceful. Nikki was a friendly, helpful and communicative host.

We had a fantastic stay at Vale Retreats. The accommodation was lovely and well equipped for a long weekend stay. The pool was lovely and 90mins per day was more than enough time for the kids to play and burn off some energy. The location was great. Lots of lovely countryside walks and Winslow was a stones throw away. We went on to Woburn Safari which was a 35 minute car journey away. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Bridget was a wonderful host!

This accommodation looks nice in photos but even better in real life. A lovely clean, quiet, and cosy place to stay. Louise and her husband were very polite and accommodating. Well equipped, tea coffee, sugar was provided which was a touch as sometimes it can get expensive sticking up on the simple things when away. Lots of spices etc, utensils etc. Probably better stocked than my own kitchen! Overall a really pleasant stay. Would use again if needed (visited for a wedding at Stoke place)

The POD was amazing a home from home. Everything you want from your stay, clean, tidy and peaceful. It’s well equipped and has an amazing shower and bathroom plus the bed is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here for a short stay or long stay a perfect host and accommodation.

We had such a nice stay at Anita and James’ cottage as a family of 3 + dog. It is ideally located away from the main roads but within walking distance to many pubs and cafes, in a very peaceful and beautiful setting. The cottage had everything we needed for the weekend and it has a large decking area that we could sit out on and enjoy the sunny weather. Anita and James are great hosts, super friendly and they very helpfully offered local recommendations.

The place was absolutely beautiful and very easy to access and get in. The view of the chickens and other animals from the bed was absolutely spectacular and we loved waking up to it every morning. I would highly recommend staying here and I would definitely book again if I’m back in the area!

Geraldine’s place was perfect. Lovely and cozy bed was super comfy and the village had everything you need. I was actually gutted that I arrived after eating as there seems to be a lot of choice for food with the three pubs in the village. Geraldine is very friendly and unapproachable, not that I needed it but I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. I would happily book to stay here again. I would recommend it.

Had a fantastic stay at Chloe’s apartment. It was exactly like the photos, and had nice welcoming touches with tea / coffee and some biscuits. Great value for money, and the area was really peaceful. The fact the driveway is gated, it felt really safe and I didn’t have to worry about my car. The bed is comfortable, yet firm, so if you have any back issues I found it was a really good night’s sleep and no back pain. The shower is really big too, with a choice of rainfall or normal shower head. In all honesty, it was a little further out of London than I thought, that’s my fault though and no reflection on the listing at all. Just be aware if you are booking with the intention of going into London, I think it was approx an hour to get to Tottenham Court Road from Gerrard’s Cross, and if there are any engineering works (like this weekend), you’re looking around 90 mins to get into London with various tube or trains.

We had such an amazing stay here. The place is super clean, beautifully decorated and the hosts were friendly and attentive. We had absolutely everything we needed and more. There’s so many little touches that Jo has thought of. Red sauce in the cupboard for a morning sandwich was a lifesaver! And milk, coffee, tea, sugar, chocolates and hot cross buns! We felt very looked after. We had great weather so we took full advantage of the little private area outside of the annex. The host had 2 gorgeous cats and a dog that came to say hi 🩷 and 2 robins that were hanging around the trees! Such a peaceful place to stay with some great walks, views and national trust places nearby. We had a lovely girls night away here and would come back again, and recommend to all. Thanks so much xxx

Had a lovely stay. The place was so cosy and we felt so relaxed there. We had a tour round Sharon’s farm which was lovely and it was nice to meet her. Very responsive host and gave us recommendations on what to do and where to go. Overall really lovely stay so close to Whipsnade zoo and in a lovely quiet area😊

We stayed at Georgina's place with our baby and dog. Georgina was great at communicating and the description of the room was accurate. The location is good - a drive to Aylesbury and 30mins from Bicester. We received a warm welcome and the room was cosy. We had all we needed for a night - kettle, toaster, fridge, sink. The family garden is beautiful and we were able to let our dog roam around, which was lovely. The bed was comfy and the sheets were good quality. We would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone needing a short break, with lots of bits to do nearby.

Sarah was a great host, she was very responsive and on hand for any questions or concerns. What a beautiful little place to stay on the outskirts of a scenic little town.
