Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Buggiano

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

Giovanni's place was clean in order and easy to find. He was always available and especially regarding a problem with the car, he gave me a great help. The accommodation is very quiet inside a house, quiet and sheltered. I highly recommend it and will keep it in mind for an upcoming stay

Our stay at Teresa’s place was exceptional. The apartment is in a great location for walking to the beach, to shops, to restaurants, and parks, etc. Parking on the premises is a great boon. Also it is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany. The apartment is large, bright and well maintained. We felt very much at home here. Teresa and her husband are delightful, helpful, friendly and responsive hosts. We recommend this Airbnb most highly and hope to return.

Eugenio was a great host. His place is super authentic, located in the most charming medieval village with spectacular views. Everything in the house was to our satisfaction. Eugenio was super responsive and helpful with accomodating some extra requests that we had. We were travelling for work, filming a wedding at nearby castel. Location was great for us. The public parking is only about 100 meters from the house. We were teally happy with everything. Thank you Eugenio. P.S. There is an amazing restaurant with spectacular views right in the village. They only do lunches. But wow, It was such a great find. Everyrhing in that restaurant was made from their own produce, wine from their vineyard in the valley, olive oil from their trees, all vegetables from their garden. Different set menue every day. Really recommend it. It was delicious.

Silvia's welcome is excellent, already with the heating on. The house was super clean, the blankets were perfectly clean and everything as described... he also recommended some things for the carnival. The board games are very much appreciated to fill up the time and have fun. Flexible and perfect check out. A special thank you to Silvia who made us feel at home.

My family of 5 including an infant, toddler and teen, had the best time at il Paluffo. It is a stunning property, the natural pool is unique and refreshing, they offer a ton of activities, local recommendations, and communication was always easy. Claudia, the manager, simply the best! She recommended us an amazing public pool in the hills of Tuscany, great for kids, and suggested some of the best places to eat nearby. It felt like she always had our best interest at heart. We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to everyone we know!

We spent a wonderful week in Cristina's house in Fabbiano and really enjoyed our break from everyday life there. The house is beautifully integrated into the small, quiet, very romantic place. You enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the mountains from the garden and can also take a beautiful hike from the house. Cristina's welcome was very warm and made us feel really welcome in her house. We could always ask them if we needed advice. The garden is fantastic. Unfortunately, it was already too cold for the pool. For this, we enjoyed the fireplace. Despite the mixed weather, we did a lot because the house is centrally located between the sea, the mountains and some very beautiful cities (e.g. Viareggio, Lucca, Pisa, Bargo). Since the garden is completely fenced, our dog was also able to move freely the whole time. For small families who love tranquility and seclusion, the house is ideal

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It was a great place to stay with kids and dogs. The location is perfect near the river, walking paths, a playground and restaurants. We loved our stay and highly recommend

CaseMaggi was our perfect home base for a week. It was lovely (just as pictured), a good size for 3 adults with all the amenities you could want and more! An easy walk to groceries, cafes, restaurants, farmacias, Piazza Santa Croce. Hosts were so helpful, especially when we got sick, making recommendations and even helping us cancel a dinner reservation we otherwise would have been charged for. Only 2 things we didn’t love. The bedsheets were rough/scratchy (being sick, we spent more time in bed than we would have liked). Also, street can get noisy at night (especially Saturdays). There’s a restaurant (a great one, we went there!) directly below and a bar on the corner. Lots of vehicle and people noise till the wee hours, hard to shut out even with windows closed. But neither issue was enough to detract from our trip. Florence is amazing, Margherita and Michael were wonderful hosts, and CaseMaggi is the perfect place to experience it! We’ve already recommended it to friends!

This is our second stay at Nicola’s Airbnb. He is a one of the best hosts on Airbnb. He is also an amazing licensed tour guide. Don’t hesitate to stay there and book one of his many tours. The apartment is in a perfect location and walkable.

Originally booked outside the old city, temporarily because of the heating problem, the host changed us to the apartment in the old city, although the quality and experience was better, we had to find a parking space ourselves and pulled our heavy luggage to find a place to stay in the steep old city, very exercise and mentality, thankfully the host's grandson and granddaughter (very friendly and nice teenage) came to receive us and prepared the room for us.

Lots of care has been put by the host to make the place beautiful and practical. This place has all the little details that make a place cozy and welcoming (including the pie😋). It was warm and clean, beautiful views from the windows and balcony, modern kitchen and toilets. Beds were so comfortable! Very close to the train station but very quiet. It was great for us as we traveled a lot by train. Highly recommended.

Daniela is just thoughtful and perfect as a host. She was very friendly and always available to us even going beyond her prerogatives by offering us ancillary services for our daughter who sprained herself during our vacation. It feels like she loves what she does and she does it perfectly. The accommodation is perfect and what to say about the location: only 10 minutes walk from the train station or airport. The city center is a little far on foot but it's great when you're on vacation (about 30 minutes). Despite the location close to the airport, the accommodation is quiet overnight. The accommodation is very functional and very lovely. Everything is done to make us feel good. Grazie mille Daniela

Comfortable apartment, hosts available.

The location is unbeatable. The space is lovely and spacious, exactly how it is described and pictured. Literally steps away from the Duomo and great ice cream spots, cafes, restaurants & shops at our door. Our host was very responsive and flexible, enabled a late check out as we had a later flight. Will come back once I’m back in Firenze. Grazie.

We stayed at the Viareggio carnival, a truly unique experience. Nicoletta was immediately super helpful and welcoming, ready for our every request. The apartment matches the photos, it is very modern and equipped with all the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay. Convenient reserved parking. Francesca takes pride in her apartment. She lives next door, too. The apartment is well outfitted. The washer_dryer is a great addition. the walk-in shower is terrific. There is a loose outlet in the bathroom. what a great kitchen with great finishes. The appliances are all in excellent condition and clean; even a toaster. There are potholders, plastic wrap, foil. Francesca has done a great job as host.

Lorena is a very considerate host! Received us with great affection, allowed the early check in, always responded to us quickly. The apartment is well located, near the Duomo, with several restaurants around, including I recommend the restaurants located on the same street of the building, the two nearest. Clean apartment, clean bed linen and all comfortable! It was a great stay! Highly recommend!
