Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Buggiano

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

This villa in Viagreggio perfectly suited our needs. The space was exactly as described - the A/c was needed in the high temperatures. The property is ideally situated between the train station and the beach - it was approximately an 8 minute walk from the station, and 10 minute walk to the beach. Irene was a great host - responding very quickly to any questions we had.

Super nice area. Beautiful pool and super lovely hosts. The arrival was no problem, even the somewhat arduous road was no longer an issue after the 2 driveway. I would just not recommend it with a deep car😉. The hosts were already on site and the check-in was a dream and can also be reached at any time. Will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended. 🫶

Our stay at Teresa’s place was exceptional. The apartment is in a great location for walking to the beach, to shops, to restaurants, and parks, etc. Parking on the premises is a great boon. Also it is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany. The apartment is large, bright and well maintained. We felt very much at home here. Teresa and her husband are delightful, helpful, friendly and responsive hosts. We recommend this Airbnb most highly and hope to return.

We had a great time at Carlo and Elena's. The fenced garden and pool were real pluses. Not to mention all the little touches that Carlo had for us, and even a gift for our little puppy. The accommodation is peaceful surrounded by mountains with beautiful views. We would recommend this house and its host because everything was perfect!

Eugenio was a great host. His place is super authentic, located in the most charming medieval village with spectacular views. Everything in the house was to our satisfaction. Eugenio was super responsive and helpful with accomodating some extra requests that we had. We were travelling for work, filming a wedding at nearby castel. Location was great for us. The public parking is only about 100 meters from the house. We were teally happy with everything. Thank you Eugenio. P.S. There is an amazing restaurant with spectacular views right in the village. They only do lunches. But wow, It was such a great find. Everyrhing in that restaurant was made from their own produce, wine from their vineyard in the valley, olive oil from their trees, all vegetables from their garden. Different set menue every day. Really recommend it. It was delicious.

Silvia's house is spacious, well distributed in the spaces and comfortable. The outdoor spaces, although unused, caused bad weather, were well maintained and functional. The only piece I could make is that I didn't mean that "coffee machine" meant mocha, but it's not relevant to the stay. If we go back to the area, I'll definitely review this place again.

We had a wonderful week at Cristina's house in Fabbiano and really enjoyed our break from everyday life there. The house is beautifully integrated into the small, quiet, very romantic place. From the garden you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the mountains and you can also take a nice hike from the house. Cristina's welcome was very warm and made us feel really welcome in her home. We could ask her at any time if we needed advice. The garden is fantastic. Unfortunately, it was already too cold for the pool. We really enjoyed the fireplace instead. Despite the mixed weather, we did a lot because the house is centrally located between the sea, the mountains and some very beautiful cities (e.g. Viareggio, Lucca, Pisa, Bargo). Since the garden is completely fenced, our dog was also able to move freely the whole time. For small families who love peace and seclusion, the house is ideal

This place is very lovely located at a good location. The house itself is nice and have everything you need! Marco is very responsive and friendly, he also gave us some recommendations of where to go/eat. I really recommend this house!

CaseMaggi was our perfect home base for a week. It was lovely (just as pictured), a good size for 3 adults with all the amenities you could want and more! An easy walk to groceries, cafes, restaurants, farmacias, Piazza Santa Croce. Hosts were so helpful, especially when we got sick, making recommendations and even helping us cancel a dinner reservation we otherwise would have been charged for. Only 2 things we didn’t love. The bedsheets were rough/scratchy (being sick, we spent more time in bed than we would have liked). Also, street can get noisy at night (especially Saturdays). There’s a restaurant (a great one, we went there!) directly below and a bar on the corner. Lots of vehicle and people noise till the wee hours, hard to shut out even with windows closed. But neither issue was enough to detract from our trip. Florence is amazing, Margherita and Michael were wonderful hosts, and CaseMaggi is the perfect place to experience it! We’ve already recommended it to friends!

We had a lovely stay in Florence no small thanks to our home away from home and to Nicola for being so professional but also very kind and considerate! Nicola was always easy to reach whenever we had questions about the apartment and was also kind enough to give us a few pointers on unique places to go in Florence for sightseeing and for eating. The apartment is spaceous, well maintained and clean, about 10-15 minutes' walk from the centre, has plenty of facilities and homely interior. Our only minor grievance was the bedroom window which was not very soundproof and due to some temporarily redirected bus routes, it could be a bit loud during the night. We had booked a stay long enough for us to take Nicola up on his offer on a free tour. It felt personal, unique and lasted for close to 3 hours' time. It was engaging and at a pace that allowed us to take it all in. All in all a wonderful experience! Many thanks to Nicola for an easy transition from work life to bucket list holiday!

I really enjoyed my stay in San Gimignano. The place was lovely and just a short walk from the town center — perfect for exploring the area. Anna was a great host and everything went smoothly. Thank you!

The accommodation is very comfortable, with all the necessary equipment to feel at home! We were hosted very well and really appreciated all the touches left by the whole family (Nonna's pie is really delicious😋). The neighborhood is quiet, 2 steps from the train station, but without the noises of the trains and we slept very well. It is very easy to access the city inside the ramparts on foot (20 minutes from Duomo Square). We were able to park the car in front of the building without any issues. We sincerely recommend this home!

This place was perfect for our stay in Florence it was centrally located and just around the corner from the duomo! The unit had one large flight of stairs to reach it, and was very well equipped inside! We enjoyed the unit from cooking in the kitchen to sleeping in the very comfortable bed! Definitely would recommend this unit to anyone!

Daniela is just thoughtful and perfect as a host. She was very nice and always available to us, even going beyond her prerogatives by offering us additional services for our daughter who sprained her ankle during our vacation. You can tell she loves what she does and she does it perfectly. The accommodation is perfect and what about the location: only a 10-minute walk to the train station or airport. The city center is a little far on foot but it's very doable when you're on vacation (about 30 minutes). Despite the location close to the airport, the accommodation is quiet at night. I would wholeheartedly recommend these hosts and the apartment. Convenient location: close to the train station. There is a bus stop nearby. The apartment itself is comfortable, quiet, warm. There is everything you may need in the kitchen. The TV works great, the internet is instant. In general, there are no shortcomings. But most importantly - wonderful hosts, hospitable and helpful. It was especially great to get sweets from them after a long journey. Thank you Teresa and Francesca!

Really good experience. Excellent structure, well cared for, great hospitality and communication with the owner. The building is really ok, with attention to detail, as well as hospitality. There is rarely a bottle of classic Chianti with two glasses for a welcome aperitif. Really great service. Congratulations.

Francesca takes pride in her apartment. She lives next door, too. The apartment is well outfitted. The washer_dryer is a great addition. the walk-in shower is terrific. There is a loose outlet in the bathroom. what a great kitchen with great finishes. The appliances are all in excellent condition and clean; even a toaster. There are potholders, plastic wrap, foil. Francesca has done a great job as host.

His mother welcomed us with friendliness and kindness, immediately showing affection for our dog, a great curious who immediately shot throughout the apartment curious to discover all the spaces. Unfortunately, the bad weather prevented us from visiting the surroundings well, but from what we saw it is a really beautiful area. I thank Daniele and his mom for hosting on rainy days that certainly didn't help keep the environment cleaner, and for that I apologize. Apartment certainly to recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment. It was clean, comfortable and Lorenzo was an extremely gracious host. He was responsive and very flexible and accommodating. Lorenzo provided maps of Florence, and recommendations for restaurants. We had a lovely stay. It is within walking distance to the train station, and all of the historic city sites. The only thing to consider is that the apartment overlooks the summer market. If your group is sensitive to noise, it may be something you would want to consider. On the positive side, we were able to enjoy the beautiful music in the evenings while we enjoyed out cocktails. I would recommend this apartment and Lorenze as host.

Large airbnb tucked outside the city. Location is very walkable. Space is large, and unit is clean. Marina & her team were very accommodating with us as well, which I appreciate!

Lorena is a very attentive host! She received us with great affection, allowed early check-in, always responded to us quickly. The apartment is well located, close to the Duomo, with several restaurants around, including I recommend the restaurants located on the same street as the building, the two closest. Clean apartment, clean linens and everything comfortable! It was a great stay! I highly recommend it!
