It was an unforgettable visit!! The cottage is so perfectly nestled in the beautiful mountains. We loved visiting with the pony, Princess, and saying hey to their sweet dog Adora! Rachel and Ron gave wonderful recommendations of local restaurants and trails. They were so kind and helpful! The cottage was very clean inside and the experience inside was magical with their beautiful artwork painted everywhere! We loved our stay!

We loved staying at Melissa's house. It was near our kids and very thoughtfully furnished. The location at the end of a dead end street is quiet and peaceful. Melissa was helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

The Country Cottage is a wonderful get away where you can relax on a farm and still be close to Weaverville & Asheville. Jerry and Debra are awesome hosts that go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The farm has the most adorable goats, chicken and sheep, which I visited daily. The Cottage is loaded with all types of supplies, for cooking, bathing, etc. to help you feel right at home. Also, multiple storage areas for clothing. In addition, a large picnic table and Grill to enjoy dinning outside. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave.

We stayed at Whistle Pig Farm over Thanksgiving, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind for the week. The kitchen was so well stocked, and had everything we possibly could have needed. The grandparents loved lounging and baking in the warm, open spaces, and our 3 year old son loved playing with all the house toys (so nice!), saying hi to the chickens each day, and going on walks to throw rocks in the creek. Would absolutely stay again - thanks Anne and Tom for sharing your lovely home!!

Beautiful spot. Matthew is a gentleman host who made us feel at home. Bungalow had an Aspen ski vibe which added a flair to the snowfall. The hot tub was warm and roomy, so says this zoftig lady. The snow views were gorgeous. Definitely would stay again.

The house was in a lovely environment, where it was peaceful and quiet. With sleeping spaces on three levels, there was good privacy and we were all comfortable. There was a beautiful view from the couch in the living room.....and one morning we saw deer wandering around close by! We've always enjoyed the town of Weaverville, so were thankful for another time to visit there! Misty answered all our questions and was very helpful! Our family would enjoy staying there again in the future! Thanks for sharing your home Misty!

Apple cabinet is the best place to stay in Western North Carolina!

The best AirBnB I’ve yet to stay at! The property is unmatched for a relaxing weekend. Private and cozy with the most incredible views. Woke up to the cows grazing each morning. Sunrises were amazing. Easy drive to everything fun the area offers. Had the pleasure of chatting with Jen and she was very welcoming. Superb all around. Thanks for having us!

We had originally booked for the first weekend of February but something came up on our end and Vincent was amazing about us changing our weekend. He responded super fast and our issue was solved. The place was beautiful and very cozy.

This is the third time I’ve stayed here and I wish I could just live here. It is so serene and peaceful. It brings me so much comfort and I will make this a yearly trip. The hosts are great and down to earth. You look out at 3 different mountains from 3 different states and the continental divide goes straight through the bed, I know this from the owner telling me when I met him. They’re building more cabins and they are just as beautiful and earthy. Best place I have ever stayed and will always come back to.

We had a wonderful stay at Jean's beautiful home! The location was serene and picturesque, and we really enjoyed the company of the friendly pigs and goats on the property—they added such a fun touch to the experience. The cabin itself was cozy and a much needed, relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, during our stay, the gas went out, which caused a temporary loss of heat and hot water. While this was a bit inconvenient, the host responded quickly and took quick action to resolve the issue and made sure we were satisfied with our stay. Despite this minor setback, we truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others looking for a peaceful mountain retreat.

Very cozy cabin with plenty of privacy. Plenty of amenities in the cabin for kids and adults. Close enough to get to restaurants in downtown Asheville. Perfect place to stay.

Fern Cove is a little slice of paradise! This hidden jewel is nestled in the woods and is super peaceful and cozy. The kitchen and bathroom are both well stocked with everything we needed for our weekend stay. The house had excellent natural light, but the blackout curtains were perfect for sleeping in. We loved this spot and hope to visit again! Thanks!

We wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend, and that is exactly what we got. We were close enough to town for the grocery store as well as a few local restaurants. We were only a short drive to go into downtown Asheville. I loved sitting on the porch and watching the cows in the pasture. Perfect for the two of us. The cabin had everything we needed -- even some great spices in the cabinet! The bed was super comfortable and plenty of room for our bags. The counter space in the bathroom is fantastic. The number of plugs and USB plugs was great, especially by the bed -- no fighting to charge your phone or smart watch. I loved all of the personal touches, made us feel right at home! Any time we had a question, Shannon answered us quickly. We can't wait to stay again!

It was a pleasure to stay at Ethan‘s house during a 2 day snowboard trip with my son. I felt really safe and secure there. It was really quiet and peaceful besides the occasional road noise of passing vehicles. It is about a 10 minute drive into the town of Canton and about a 30 minute drive to Cataloochee ski resort. The peaceful country setting in this older farmhouse was really nice and it was decorated beautifully and free of clutter. The master bedroom was downstairs with an adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom was upstairs with the game room. The upstairs temperature was harder to control due to it being hot in the evenings. There was a portable HVAC unit upstairs but couldn’t get it to cool the upstairs and didn’t reach out to the owner since we didnt stay long. My son ended up sleeping on the couch due to the hot temperatures upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked if you wanted to cook and the bathroom is amazing.

Perfect location for us to have an early xmas with my son's family. And the perfect touch was the lighted tree in the living room which went all the family presents, thank you Terri. The home was comfortable and felt like home. Very peaceful and private. Will stay again.

My husband and I, along with our 2 dogs stayed for 3 wonderful days. The cabin was so rustic and quaint. Lovely fireplace inside. We were looking for a secluded and private original old time mountain cabin and could not have been more pleased with this accommodation. Lovely porch to sit on and listen to the creek as it ran by. Sat outside and read as nature surrounded us. Fire pit by the creek and outdoor jacuzzi were great. We ate breakfast outside on the picnic table located right outside the kitchen each morning. Reading the history of the cabin made it even more special. We loved, loved, loved this cabin. We would love to own it ourselves. We wanted a peaceful and relaxing few days away from the rat race and we got it. Can't wait to go again!

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

We cannot say enough good things about Ron and Darlene! They went above and beyond when we found ourselves in an unexpected situation. Their compassion, concern, and immediate willingness to help ensured that we and our kids were safe and cared for. Their fast response and clear communication made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. As for the house, it was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and stocked with everything you could need to feel right at home. It was clear that Ron and Darlene put a lot of thought into making their guests’ stay as seamless and enjoyable as possible. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing and worry-free vacation. Thank you, Ron and Darlene, for your hospitality! We hope to stay again!

This property is stunning. The windows are enchanting and the decor is simple, clean, and modern, but also adorably trendy. You can access incredible hikes nearby and this home is only about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. One of the most beautiful places I have ever gotten to see, never mind stay in. Also, the host thinks of everything before you get there and is so thorough with directions.

We were scheduled to stay at this house for a week, but due to Hurricane Helene, we had to evacuate after three days. For the time we were there, the house was very nice and we greatly enjoyed the large living room area. That was definitely the highlight of the home. We would have liked to explore the area more and utilize some of their recommendations, but unfortunately, that was not possible. Would recommend the house to people looking for a large area for people to gather and talk.
