Modern stay with a rural feel

We were not new to Airnbnb accommodation but we had not experienced shared accommodation, so needless to say there was a degree of anxiety, as to whether we had made the right decision after securing the booking. Well, to say we were absolutely delighted with our experience would be an understatement. Georgina and Andrew (furbabies included) made us feel totally welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was both comfortable and a stressfree. We stayed for 3 nights to watch the Townsville Supercars and during that time we didn't have to worry about parking at the event or catching taxis or ubers, as we were chauferred to and from the event on both Saturday and Sunday. The bedroom was cosy and the bed and bedding super luxurious. Having our own beautiful, modern and impeccably, clean bathroom was an another bonus of our stay. During our stay we enjoyed our own space but also frequently enaged in conversation, sharing each others stories and life experiences. We'll be back :)

Great host and a fantastic place and location. Bigger than we expected. Very roomy inside, comfy beds and a great yard for the kids and dogs to play. The only letdown was the neighbour swearing and carrying on and lighting a fire right on the fence line to stop our dogs coming near his. Clearly resentful of the place being an airbnb. That had minimal impact on us despite his attitude. Would stay here again, without a doubt.

Had a lovely stay! The Airbnb is clean, cozy and is very well equipped. The surrounding lush garden is stunning. Georgia & Rocky are lovely people, welcoming and accommodating. Coming all the way from South Africa and not knowing the area at all, I greatly appreciated Georgia’s help! I would highly recommend.

The unit is in a great location close to everything you need, very clean and tidy. My only suggestion would be to consider getting air conditioning in the bedrooms, even though the living room air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms were enough for us at this time of year ( we live in the Whitsundays so used to the humidity and heat) anyone visiting from further south might not be so comfortable in the warmer months of the year. I would stay here again.
