My stay at this beautiful home was absolutely wonderful. Though I never met April and Derek in person, they were incredibly attentive and responsive to any enquiries, making everything seamless. The house itself was stunning, well-equipped with great amenities, and set in a peaceful, scenic location—perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a quiet retreat!

Castle in the Clouds says it all. We had multiple times where we were surrounded by clouds while sitting on the balcony. On ckear days the view is amazinga. Comfortable living room, table for 6, blackout curtains in the bedrooms, lots of towels, well-stocked kitchen. The double bed bunk is not connected so movement in one bed does not affect the other. Friendly service at check-out, shuttle, and security. This location is close to so many hikes, waterfalls, and tourist attractions.

Nice affordable cabin in a peaceful and quiet environment. The owners were great at communicating. We used the fire pit and hot tub which was great for the kids. It was a quick drive to everything in Asheville. Very close to a grocery store too. If you like to cook big meals, then bring your own supplies. The kitchen is sparsely stocked with cookware and utensils.

This cabin in Marion, NC, was a wonderful place to stay. The cabin itself is beautifully designed and very well-maintained. It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. The living space was cozy, and the furnishings were both stylish and practical, offering a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. The views were stunning, and the location provided a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend for a tranquil getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully updated unit! It was the perfect size for the three of us, and the king bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby. My daughter will be attending Lees-McRae next year, so we were in town for a college visit and a ski day at Beech Mountain, and the location couldn’t have been better. Just five minutes from the college and minutes from the ski slopes and hiking, it was super convenient for everything we needed. The unit was exceptionally clean, and while the building itself is older, the updates made it feel fresh and modern. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a tiny but mighty dishwasher, a Keurig for coffee, and even an ice maker in the fridge. Having a stacked washer and dryer was a great bonus as well. The Wi-Fi was fast, which allowed me to complete some remote work with ease. The host was fantastic—very responsive and accommodating. The home is fantastic. Mary was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We were in Hot Springs before the flooding, and it was beautiful. The town is recovering from the devastation, but the natural beauty and outdoor activities are still there. We were happy to eat and shop at the local establishments and look to return visits as the town recovers.

Beautiful place to wake up. Perfect for our family of four and our friends as a base camp for a ski weekend.

This cozy cottage was a great place for our weekend to visit our daughter at Gardner-Webb! It was clean and well-stocked! The kitchen had everything we needed and all cookware was great quality! The bathroom was huge with plenty of towels. The screened in porch was very nice! Rhonda was great to work with!

This place was perfect exactly as described. They gave perfect directions up the mountain. Though the road seems daunting at first once you find where you are going with the perfect instructions from the hosts it’s really not that hard if you have a car with clearance. Once you get to the top the views are unbeatable and it is so quiet and peaceful. This is a trip we are definitely doing again and for sure staying here! 10/10 stay
