Holiday rentals in Burrell Boom

I had a wonderful extended stay (9 days). Gary was very easy to communicate with and highly responsive. Such a good host. The apartment was in a very convenient location with a short 3-5 minute walk to several good restaurants and along the waterfront, plus plenty of local food stalls at the main waterfront park. It was an easy 30-minute walk to the water taxi dock. There is a nice coffee shop a few short blocks away, right near another park with exercise equipment. The actual living space was laid out well. The bedroom A/C unit worked very well and the bed was comfortable. The shower, toilet, and bidet were all in good working order. I cooked many of my meals at the apartment (plenty of local shops within 5-15 minute walk) and everything I needed for meal prep was available and in solid working order (plus I'm a little envious of the above-stove light and exhaust fan - it's far nicer than mine at home). Very happy I chose Lugar Al Mar for my stay in Belize City.

We had a fantastic stay! We were the only ones renting at the time, making it quite lovely to have the place ourselves. Emily is a fantastic cook, so I recommend planning at least a few meals through the host. If you do your own food, plan your meals (the host can take you shopping before leaving) because it costs for the boat ride to get more supplies. Belle and Bruno were the best four-legged hosts, so if you love large dogs, you will enjoy them as we did. They swim out to play with the dolphins pretty much daily! Eugene has a wealth of knowledge about what to do and see; he is your best resource. The young lad Omar helped with everything, including showing me how to fish.

The host has excellent, top-notch communication, and really went the extra mile to be sure our questions were answered promptly, including arranging a ride from the airport to the Airbnb at night, as well as to the rental car company the next day. The apartment was nice and clean and comfortable, great view of the ocean.

Carlos’ place was absolutely perfect. I needed to find somewhere to stay for a very last minute trip and this listing did not disappoint. Everything was immaculate and matched the photos exactly. The area was very peaceful and private. I would definitely stay here again!

Great customer service; very quick response time! Everyone was very kind and hospitable. The pool was an absolutely lovely amenity, and the café right across the street was perfect!

Perfect stay with proximity to the airport, flexible check in time, responsive & friendly host, clean & very comfortable towels/bedding, and a fun pool my toddler enjoyed. Even more amenities with the kitchen than I anticipated. If looking for a place in Ladyville, book this one!

Hipolito and Sharon were gracious hosts and totally responsive to our needs. We felt like we were visiting them versus renting. Their rental was in a great, safe location, easily accessible to restaurants and ferry and all within walking distance. Rental was clean and supplies were plentiful and they provided a huge container of filtered water. Hipolito even gave us a ride to the airport. Very, very pleased with renting from them and would do so again.
