Holiday rentals in Bury District

Just what we needed for a fantastic week in the Peaks, near to so many lovely walks as well as being warm, very clean and well equipped. Extremely good communication from the host before our arrival - including lots of information about the area. Really appreciated all the touches provided to make our stay a home from home, including fresh ground coffee and shower gel. Thank you so much!

My friend and I were visiting friends who lived in Oldtown so were so pleased. to find the cottage . It was perfect . We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness in the main room and comfy sofas and fire and very well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom . Also as we were lucky with the weather it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the morning in sunshine . It’s a beautiful area and enjoyed visiting Haworth , Halifax and Saltaire . Being in our seventies I would say the only slightly negative thing was the bunk bed though a very comfy one but can imagine that’s great if you have younger people with you . Main bedroom very comfy . Linda was a great host replying promptly to any questions we might have and we would certainly recommend it and hope to come back .

Great place with plenty of space. Very modern and a brilliant location close to town centre and Piccadilly station. 3 bathrooms was a luxury too!

The lodge is lovely. It’s right next to all the walks on Marsden Moor and is so very peaceful! We loved it!

We loved staying at the house in Waddington. It’s deceptively spacious- like the Tardis. The house was extremely well equipped, warm and comfortable. The village of Waddington is really pretty and has 3 lovely pubs. We were lucky with the weather and our grandchildren enjoyed playing in the garden. We would definitely recommend this lovely house.

Absolutely beautiful little gem! Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful, the lodge was beautiful and just as described. We loved the inquisitive little dogs coming to say hello from the family home & communication was great! We will be back!

Lovely house, loved the decor and touches around the place. All the beds were really comfortable, felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel. The outside table gets some lovely afternoon sun, was great to sit out after our walk. Great location for getting out walking. Loved our stay.

Thanks to Nancy for responding to all our queries very promptly. The accommodation is very quaint comfortable and cosy. We had everything we needed. Walking distance to several nice pubs. Food in the Poachers and the Vale Inn was gorgeous. As was take away from Chopsticks, literally across the road. We walked several miles along the canal and Middlewood Way, straight from the doorstep. We would recommend this accommodation and location.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Helen’s place. The little house was beautifully presented and both Helen and Frank were wonderful hosts. The house includes all the bits and pieces you need for a short stay and feels like home. The surroundings are stunning and we were very pleased with the friendly neighbours (the chickens and peacocks!). We used the place as a base for a day trip into Manchester whilst making the most of the peaceful area. Would thoroughly recommend; a perfect stay 😊
