Holiday rentals in Bushmans River

Very nice landlord, was on site on arrival and always available. The view and location of the house is unbeatable. The house and furnishings are out of date but has its own flair. We felt comfortable!

Our second stay at Tommo’s Deck and hopefully not our last. It lives up to the photographs with the beautiful views of the river mouth and tasteful and homely house. Everything is supplied and at this time of year the peace and quiet of the location is fantastic. Highly recommended.

A beautiful, private and very secure cottage set in beautiful subtropical gardens, within easy walking distance to absolutely stunning pristine beaches and lagoon, shops and heavenly restaurants - especially the wood fired sourdough and ciabatta bakery and pizzeria made for great breakfasts after a sunrise swim. Decor is creative, uniquely South African and just enough to wrap a guest in a special welcome home feel, but not too much to be cluttered, this is no cookie cutter could-be-anywhere guest cottage. Hosts are onsite, providing an accessible and really helpful presence, without intruding. Housekeeping services are superb. Highly recommended: there is no other experience quite like this beach cottage. Only hard part was leaving this lovingly nurtured guest space.

I absolutely loved my stay at Ashley's place in Kenton. Gloria helped me check in and she was so wonderful and friendly. The house was quaint, lovely kitchen with all the tools one would need for a holiday stay. I loved that the house was so central, walking distance to the shops and beach. I loved how safe I felt in this space. With hardly any security, it made me feel like there are still places in SA that are safe to travel too. I would definitely recommend Ashley's place. There is only ONE thing I would change and that's to please get new bed pillows. I don't think these have been changed for years. They were very soft and had been used a lot. Pillows are a big one for travellers. Thank you Gloria and Ashley.

The house is spacious and clean with all the amenities you need. It is well located in a quiet street and close to the restaurants, shops, river and beach. Alan is an attentive and friendly host.

A beautiful stay in a dream house! Allen was fantastic and met us on site to welcome us and was on the other end of the phone for any messages. The house was beautiful and we will be back. Take your own binoculars the view is incredible!!!

We had a mini family reunion with Kenton on Sea being our middle point to meet. Sheer Delight was exactly as described and did not disappoint. We all felt right at home as the property had everything you would need in a family home. The view was spectacular and there were board games to keep the kids entertained for hours. The beach was also within walking distance and the private gate and walkway down to the river was just a bonus. We all had a memorable weekend and will definitely keep Sheer Delight as an option for all future family getaways.
