Guest house holiday rentals in Byron Shire Council

I spent a month in Gyan and Simon's boatshed and had the most wonderful time. I slept peacefully with the sound of the waves in the background. I woke up every morning to the birds singing and enjoyed the most incredible sunrises on the beach just four minutes from the house. Endless walks on the beach, through the national park and it's only a stone's throw to the centre of Byron Bay. Everything here has been chosen with love and taste. Delicious organic produce greeted me in the fridge on arrival. The boatshed has everything you need to feel at home. Gyan and Simon are the sweetest and most caring hosts. They gave me as much privacy as I wanted but were always there for me when I needed help. Thanks to their local tips and help with some of the organisation, I was able to explore so much and see the most beautiful places. It was incredible! Leaving this magical place and these beautiful humans was not easy.

Such a beautiful spot within walking distance of Federal village with its cafe, playground and boutique shops. Well stocked kitchen with all the basics plus breakfast items, great bbq, air fryer and coffee machine that was a wonderful addition. Bedroom fans were great and beds comfy. Had a bush walk through to the watering hole for a dip and walk along the stream, and an outside shower when we returned (10/10 recommend!). Saw a kangaroo at dusk down the back of the paddock which the kids absolutely loved... Make sure you get out and enjoy the surrounds as its so special. Would love to visit again!

Both Robyn and Steve were really communicative, friendly, helpful and flexible. Everything was great with the place and suited our needs. New Brighton is a special place and has to be experienced to understand, and what better way than some nights in Sand Castle.

A beautiful, welcoming & relaxing home. Loved the pool & the open plan, light filled living space. Everything was clean & comfortable. The hosts were very friendly. A great place to chill.

Stayed with my daughter for 3 nights. The cottage is tucked behind the host's house. It is a quiet location away from a street which is very busy when it is a good beach day. The air-conditioning was very welcome. I particularly enjoyed sitting at the outdoor table looking at the garden. It is a short walk to Belongil Beach and a pleasant longer walk along the beach to the Byron Bay township.

Mark's place is great. We loved all the fruit trees, the swimming hole, and the great nursery!

Quiet location, close to lots of beautiful beaches, stores and restaurants. Would stay again, Thankyou!

Kirsty was a wonderful host. The house was beautiful, cozy, and beautifully designed. The outdoor bathtub was absolutely perfect—I really enjoyed my evening soak. I also appreciated the lovely welcome gift and the opportunity to use the bike provided with the accommodation. Everything was simply perfect, and you will definitely enjoy your stay at Prairie. This place is first class and I highly recommend it. The accommodation is super chic (reminiscent of some of the W Hotels I’ve stayed in). The central Bangalow location means it’s a short walk to markets, coffee and bakeries with plenty of options for dining and cocktails. Alternatively grab a few groceries from the farmers market, hinterland honesty boxes or shops and prep something in the well equipped kitchen. The property overlooks Piccabeen Park which is perfect for yoga or an early morning walk. I found the hosts responsive, helpful, warm and accommodating. They are locals and know all the cool spots if you’re looking for recommendations for anything. I discovered the property is associated with the luxurious Bangalow Wellness Hub, so on my next visit I’m bringing my sister and we’re booking ourselves some treatments! Many thanks to the hosts for a very special and much needed weekend in paradise. I will be back soon!

I had a fantastic stay! The views and peaceful surroundings were amazing. Garry, the host, communicated clearly and provided helpful directions. His wife, child, and dogs were very welcoming. I loved the beautiful artwork and the charming outdoor shower. The naturist clothing option was a nice touch too. I highly recommend this unique place. It is truly one of a kind! Thank you so much! I will definitely come back and stay again when I'm in Australia.

Such a beautiful,peaceful place. Felt safe and relaxed on arrival,had the most amazing sleep,bed is so comfortable. It meant a lot to me as I hadn’t slept well for over 4years. I booked for 4nights and extended the stay for another 2. Very private and secluded,yet close to Mullumbimby for groceries,great cafes and restaurants.. Not far from Brunswick heads if you love the beach and more health conscious cafes and restaurants. Close to crystal castle which is a magical experience for adults and kids. I’m truly grateful to the owners of Gan Eden retreat for sharing their property 💜 Will return in the future✨🦄🌈

We had an amazing time while staying in the treehouse. It is located only a few minutes from the center of Byron Bay but it feels like you are alone in the rainforest.

Kopal was a great host, very responsive and informative when needed. The place was cozy and clean. Would stay here again!

The studio was clean and well kept, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the shower was heavenly. I loved having the balcony as well, perfect place to read or have a coffee. It's only a short drive (15 mins) to Byron Bay so I was close enough to everything to fill my stay with activities and beach trips, but private and tucked away enough to enjoy a peaceful week of relaxation. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Renae and Julian’s place was stunning, our group had a beautiful stay. The location was really quiet and secluded but also a short and convenient drive into Byron. The beds were super comfortable with good quality linen and kitchen well equipped! The entire place is surrounded by greenery and I would love to come back if we were in the area again. They were also super responsive and answered any questions we had. Thanks guys :)

We felt right at home at Joanne's place. What a magical place!!!! Beautiful surroundings and oh so tranquil. We loved Bangalow with its lovely little stores and boutique shops. We enjoyed being able to go through the gate and we were in the main road with shop, cafes and restaurants. Needless to say, freshly brewed coffee just a minute around the corner. The place had everything we could possibly need; everything was lovely decorated and cosy. The pool was a welcome treat after a day of adventures and walks. Relaxing and enjoying meals outside well hidden from the hustle and bustle. We will be back!!!! Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

Great little studio away from the business of the town, but still very accessible. Place was super clean and nice aesthetics for a relaxing few nights. Becky was super responsive and flexible with check out. Thanks again for a lovely stay!
